Four Lane Ends Social Club in North Tyneside

Disappointed with the new layout of the communal areas. It was much better when it was a seperate bar and restaurant. We went for a relaxing family birthday meal (our 2 course meal was included in our room rate) and found it to be anything but relaxing. No designated eating areas therefore we were surrounded by drunk, rowdy people knocking our chairs whilst we were trying to eat our food and generally being disruptive. Tables are too close together. The new work space where the bar used to be is a waste of space at the weekend. I think the hotel would benefit from creating a section for people who are having meals and a section for drinks only. There's nowhere else to sit in the hotel for guests. Couldn't fault our meals or the service however will not be returning for food at the hotel, we will just dine elsewhere if we ever stay again.

My first and probably my last visit to this Chinese The guy on the front counter as zero personality and wants to learn how to treat customers. I personally thought my Chinese food was expensive compared to other Chinese takeaways in the area. The chips were very hard and dry,seemed to be a day old but apart from that the rest of the Chinese food was very nice. No free prawn crackers with the meal.

Fantastic ice cream with loads of choice and lovely staff.

Always really tasty and hot food and excellent service and delivery. Never had anything to complain about. Been having food from here for over 4 years and recommended to loads of friends, and they all say the same..."Best Indian food takeaway in the area".

they gave me the wrong drink but they immediately came out to deliver the correct one: fantastic job!
