Went with partner and his parents, took advantage of happy hour drinks between 5-7pm, everything £5. We went for craft lager, but cocktails sounded tempting too. We all enjoyed our pizzas. Reasonably priced and well cooked. Very friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. Book tables at the back if you’re with people who can’t manage high stools.

I love all their restaurants but they make no effort to explain their recycling and sustainability policies in the restaurant or on their website. They give the impression they are progressive but where is the evidence. The staff are not able to help. The website has no customer service contact details and so maybe they don't want feedback. Is this greenwashing or not.

Prior to visiting the wonderful Nunhead Cemetery, my wife and I stopped off for a sourdough pizza and some draft larger. The pizzas were great, tasty and generous. The larger great too, serving in interesting glasses. Tap water was provided without asking. Very friendly service. Highly recommended.

A sunny lunchtime, sat outside with family, people watching, with the best pizza I have ever had in 47 years! Mouthwatering! Amazing base. Perfect amount of topping. Traditional and more unusual flavour combinations. And fab service with a smile from Mo!

Went here last Monday to take advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. Recently moved into the area and this seemed the perfect opportunity to try some local, independent fare. It was busy when we got there, meaning we were told to return later when they called. Helpfully, this allowed time for a pint around the corner. Once in, we were attended to quickly, despite how full it was. We had the olives and pickles washed down with a lovely crisp pale ale. This was followed by two delicious pizzas and a mind-blowing negroni which I couldn't refuse, even on a Monday night, being as it was only £4. We were encouraged to come by the Chancellor but, knowing it as we do now, we will be returning very soon.

Went in on a Sunday- staff were drifting around and it took 15 minutes to order even though they was only one other table with customers. After a half hour wait for food it became clear the chefs had either lost the order or the food had been given out in a takeaway order. The sole waitress was outside smoking for most of the time so we had to go out to ask where the food was. When it finally arrived it was two platefuls of meh.

Have not been to a pizza shop for years but this one is a bit different. Rhubarb and goats cheese is superb as is the vegan option with pine nuts and veg. Also my partner recommends the elder flower spritz. Good selection of craft beers. Been 3 times and quality is consistent. Service good and friendly but we usually eat off peak - could be a bit noisy in the food rush hour. The usual hard seats and white plain walls. Bit of a cave inside which it does not have to be as it was previously a very light and bright deli.

Just walked in here with my tiny chihuahua to get pizza for TAKEAWAY. Was almost promptly by a timid waiter told dogs not allowed bc of the open kitchen; no offer was suggested that I wait outside whilst I still placed my order. Apparently I was wanted out of there IMMEDIATELY. So now you lost a customer permanently. Typical London.

We love this quirky restaurant ! From start to finsh you cannot help but enjoy yourself with the range of great food ! To start we had a couple of garlic breads which were very good. For main two of our party had the Tomato and Mozzarella which were excellent and good value at £7.25 each. Two of us had the black pudding special which was very good at £9.50. Good cocktails included an Elderflower Spritz and some very good Gipsy Hill on draft. Desserts include some good ice-creams again reasonably priced. Anton looked after us very well too !

So disappointed. Went here for my daughter’s birthday. 2 of our party, grown men, we’re only given a total of 5 small slices of pizza. They stopped serving and they were still hungry, as was I. That is not by definition ‘unlimited pizza.’ waiters were not very friendly. My daughter’s meal of Mac and cheese came 25 minutes after ordering (admittedly they didn’t charge for this as they had forgot to bring it. We regularly order as a takeaway and always happy but Will never use this place again!

I agree with the "artsy" comments, and I am a bit undecided on whether the place is purposely like that or just neglected, but either way, it did the job. Prices are definitely not neglected, fyi, but not more expensive than any other pub in the area either. There are some food options which I did not get to try but those seem to be priced all right. The outside area is a nice touch for those rare summer days when you actually can actually sit outside but at 22:00 you will be asked to move inside.
