We ordered some sausage suppers and they were inedible, the chips were soggy and in so much grease we just put them in the bin. Would not return. The staff were friendly and the shop was clean but they really should not be selling this quality of food.

Wow. Go on a Friday night. Decided to go for a pizza crunch for nostalgic reasons. Oil and batter were perfect. Yes it took a bit of time (10 min) but when you serve food like that it doesn't matter

The food is amazing! I can’t even tell you how good it is. We ordered it late at night and they still made it 10/10 good. Tasted so fresh, so impressed. Would definitely order again

Very bad experience. The owner himself doesn’t know how to behave, or serve food in a proper way. Went there to order for takeaway but had to cancel the plan because he was shouting at the staff and also was very rude to the customer infront of me. When I came here to see the reviews, almost everyone had this same bad experience. I am unable to comment on there food as I didnt try it because of these bad behaviours. They are lucky because there is no any late night shops in that area, or else would choose the other takeaways for sure. Very bad👎🏻

the food didn't look good. they forgot half of it. And after 20 minutes I became extremely nauseous and had diarrhea. hopefully I'll still be alive tomorrow. If you want to last a few more years, I wouldn't order this junk

Ordered via Deliveroo, took a hoagie wrap but since deliveroo does not accept change for this restaurant I called immediately for have no salad since I disgust it (did already couple times with no issue)today tried to call for 20 minutes in a row, strange was always occupied.. Now I have spent 11 pound for basically cannot eat because I cannot change and I do not eat salad. Plus the fact that we paid for a bottle of coke that never arrived.

Finest chippy in the area, great selection and always has fresh fish. Highly reccomend this place to eat, always a friendly atmosphere

The fish and chips was disgustingly over cooked. Looked bashed up and the boy that was serving was very intimidating and before we got it the guy stuck his finger in the fish and chips and expected us to eat it. We said the fish is over cooked and he said no you can’t get a refund or replacement. Very unprofessional never go here highly don’t recommend this place 0 star🤮

Best value Italian takeaway in Edinburgh. It's a super chippy as well, but try the pasta, risotto, gnocchi, pizza. Autentico e delizioso!

Accepted my order but apparently were closed. so they took my money and I'm getting no food. Apparently won't get a refund until tomorrow, ridiculous.

I normally don't eat here but tried it last night. Horrible experience. Chips were only blanched not fried. Pretty difficult to miss at both the cooking and prepping stations, had I seen that before I got home I would have asked for my money back. 14 quid in the bin.

Decent experience, busy Saturday night shift. the bearded host was delightful when we arrived, but unfortunately it quickly took a down turn when we had to have our order taken at the till. Took a couple minutes to be seen and then directed to the manager Dany. Despite doing almost nothing around the venue, and being completely unpleasant, he still somehow managed to get order wrong and ring my 1/4 chicken as a 1/2 chicken, which I only found out when the food arrived, obviously costing me more. Aisha, however, who seemed to be the only reason the place is still running, was delightful and friendly when dropping off the food. Couldn't get the order fixed because we were on a tight schedule. Please let Aisha run the venue because the manager obviously doesn't care

We weren’t being loud trying to order chicken and chips, and a fella on the phone told us to be quiet as they were having problems with their line. Could have easily just gone next door. Weren’t overly accommodating or apologetic. Won’t be going back to that kind of treatment.

We came here with friends from the US and Canada on Saturday night, and brought them to Nandos because you can't go wrong with a cheeky Nandos right? WRONG! Ordered on the app, food took forever to come and some of it was wrong/missing and cold. This isn't even a big problem, we weren't in a rush, staff were nice enough and replaced anything we needed. The most fun part of the visit was the food poisoning that 5 of our group got hit with. I still have no idea how food that takes so long to be served can still be undercooked. There's nothing like 24hrs of constant vomiting and diarrhea, curled up fetal on your bathroom floor (and an IV drip for one of us) to really seal off a Bank Holiday Weekend. Totally wrote off our Sunday plans, and made our hotel owner very happy with the extra night we had to fork out for because we were too ill to travel home. If you ever need to lose a few lbs quickly, save yourself a trip to Slimming World and go to Fountain Park Nandos instead. I've only given it a 1 because I can't give a 0.

Ordered from here many times with no problems. Tonight was a bit different 1st driver did not have any change! Order came to £25.60 I gave him £30.60 expecting £5 back, but no change! After discussing he went back to search his car for loose change 😂 which he came back with 60p during this time I discovered that the pizza had been carried the wrong way 😔 complained to shop and they sent a new pizza 🤗 2nd driver also didn’t have correct change 🫣 😡would have given 5star review as Food is excellent and always good quality but delivery issues were a nightmare, perhaps I will collect in future to avoid such issues!!

Oh my goodness! Our first trip to Edinburgh, Scotland UK, from the Big ole state of Michigan, USA.... and we were so hungry for fish and chips... We found Fountain Park Fry, and the twin brothers did an amazing job with our fried haddock, fish 'n chips. Thank you for some great food. 5 STARS *****

Family of 6 here on vacation staying at Hampton by Hilton. We asked bartender for a good fish and chips close , he said try this place, it was awesome, they showed us the fish (haddock) it was a huge filet. It was fresh. He cooked it in front of us while we waited along with the fries, we brought it back to the hotel to eat. Highly recommend this place for price and quality, people were very pleasant also. Fish with chips Just over 10 pounds

Hundreds of times I’ve used this company, but decided to order directly and not via just eat tonight. Well that never ended well. It never turned up, although I received an email conforming my order. I’m £17 down and has to order from another take away. I’ll be contacting fountain park as soon as they open. Marc McAulay

People I will never ever order food out of here again as my order was meant to come for 22.20 and im still waiting and I can't get a hold of this shop im not happy as I feel like I have just lost money

i am not happy with this, they say the food is all halal but they cook the food in the same FAT as all the other food. i got a fish supper it was revolting and all soggy and the manager/boss hung up and was very rude and never resolved the issue or even apologised do not recommend this place to worst enemy.

Absolutely amazing chips cheese and curry sauce, they definitely weren’t stingy with the cheese and sauce like most takeaways are. Juices are super expensive tho unfortunately. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t so expensive.

Had a sausage supper lastnight and ended up spewing the whole thing back up several hours later. It had definitely been sitting for a very long time as the sausages were almost completely cold when I got home. Ate it none the less as I was starving and paid the price. No chance i'll ever be going back.

They think their food is made up off gold. Don't know to behave to customers, make them stand. Altitude of the man over there is such a rude way.

Came to this Nando’s to have a meal with my family and 2 of the plates came within 10 minutes of ordering. 40 minutes later 2 of us are still waiting on food only to be told they have run out of chicken thighs. I will not be returning I repeat I will not be returning. To top it off the place was so quiet!

Donner wrap what a size its mahoosive and great value for the money and tastes great eating as I type and the chips and cheese are also amazing not over cooked just the right crunch and the cheese melted hot and stringy brilliant I will be back and also told my colleagues as well all hungry bus drivers

I have mean meaning to try fountain park fry for a while now due to the late opening times I must admit. It is without doubt my go to chippy now , although I live a good two plus miles away the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious, definitely recommend.I wrote this review have way through eating as it so deserves a five star , I have now completely finished my chippy…. For the first time ! Thank you fountain park I will definitely be back !

Placed the order at 1830 and delivery was estimated to be around 1920, no food at 2000 so called shop to be told it would be leaving in 5 mins. 2045 still no food so call again at 2045 to be told it has just let the shop and arrived around 2100. 2.5 hour delivery for food is a joke but not as much of a joke as what eventually arrived. One item was missing, phoned the shop to complain and the guy that answered clearly didn’t listen to what I said and couldn’t get me off the phone quick enough so paid £3.90 for nothing, poor customer service. As for the combo box, vegetable pakora was a ball of greasy sludge that had an unpleasant smell, kebab meat was dry and overdone and the pizza over done. If I could give zero stars I would.

We visited Nando's at Fountain Park, Edinburgh today at around 2ish after we were compelled to leave McCowans pub at Fountain Park. We experienced a lot of overt and covert racism at McCowans and apparently my valid Uni id, which had an expiry date, suddenly didn't have one. I was repeatedly dismissed, experienced rudeness and hostility when ordering at the bar and we weren't made to feel welcome at all. We actually had gone out for my son's pre-birthday meal with his pal and this was an extremely frustrating and angering experience. We went to Nando's at Fountain Park, Edinburgh right after and were served by Stella who was very friendly and hospitable. When she checked in on us while leaving, I told her what happened and she got Katie, the asst. Manager, who was very compassionate. Katie got us the email of the head of security and on hearing we were out to celebrate my son's birthday, in advance, got him a voucher. This wasn't necessary but my son wanted me to pass on that he was both delighted and grateful for the voucher. Thank you both so very much!

The owner of this shop regularly parks illegally and dangerously on the corner outside his shop, simultaneously ON the pavement, ON double yellows, IN a protected cycle lane. I once challenged him on this behaviour, pointing out the danger, illegality and inconsiderate nature of his actions - he told me "I don't care." Hopefully he cares more about the food he produces.

why they call you fast food there is nothing like that. and let your customers know that you prepare your customers' orders on site and your personal deliveries first and other delivery platforms can go for green caviar. people wait in their homes for an hour or two to eat your greasy feasts. Before the stomach ache, it was 5-stars. Now 3. Previous review: Wow, it was a very impressive portion for the price. I went for the 'combo box 2', ordered in person. £13.30 with pepperoni on the pizza. It included a sizeable pizza, fair amount of chips, lots of Donner meat, salad and 3 veg+chicken pakoras.

Prices are all over the place, hygiene is a massive issue here (staff, food and the shop itself) and the food itself is subpar. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else

Ordered a chicken kebab, with salad. The kebab came and it looked like it had been thrown in, covered in a weird sauce. Never seen anything like it. Ended up with food poisoning. Phoned the dump and the owner refused to take any blame. Place should be closed down. Seen rats running around the side of the building. Customer service skills are absolutely vile. Just like their nasty food

We walked in at 9pm and asked to be seated and were told it would be a 25min wait for a table. So, we decided to go next door for a game of table tennnis after being assured we would receive a text when our table was ready. We received the initial text to say were in the queue and linking their app. After about 30mins the app sent us a message to say, "Sorry we're running a bit late but will seat you as soon as possible". I then sent a friendly message on the app which got no reply. After 50 mins I decided to check on line only to see the the place was marked "closed". When I went next door to check, I found people closing down. One waitress informed me that they hadn't ordered enough stock and had to close early. I asked why no one had let us know, and nobody wanted to take responsibility. Manager came over and was smarmry af, said it was a human error and nothing could be done. Rude. u Useless. Eaten there before and the food was mediocre at best. Thought I give them another chance, my mistake. Avoid, if you want decent food and customer service rooted in a bit of respect, rather than self-importance. The only thing that's cheeky about this place, is the staff's instability to take responsibility for a blatent, evening souring miskake.

Advertise a price on their main board then charge you nearly 20% more when asked to pay for your food pointing to a sign saying they can ‘change prices without notice’!! Avoid like the plague their are plenty of other honest chippys around the area.

Ordered from deliveroo, have made a complaint to them also. Said it was out for delivery at 6.05pm I don't know what the rider was doing sitting about I think, a 10min journey took 50mins food was freezing had to heat fish and chips in microwave. Yuk I phoned the chippy to be told contact deliveroo we dunno and don't have a number amazing unhelpful. Fish was dry, so dry could barely swallow it. Choking hazard. Will never order there again and deliveroo sort out your useless rider. No apology looked a bit out of it to be honest. Disgusting and disappointing.

Nando's is Nandos, the menu etc is the same so you know what you are getting. Ordered our chicken and sides as usual, were advised that they were a bit short of chicken and could put 3 legs and one breast, which is fine. Peri peri fries always good, the coleslaw was not great- on the dry side and lacking seasoning. The spiced grains and butternut squash was almost at expiration phase. I don't know if it was due to the intense heat that weekend but the salad was almost starting to stick which is what happens when grains are made and not refrigerated. We would visit again, the staff were very good and accommodating, when the fanta ran out we told them and the immediately replenished the syrup or whatever it is that is required as a pale sparkling water was coming out with no colour or flavour.

Where do I even start. I have never met anyone so compassionate and charismatic. The enthusiasm flowed from this woman. Her service was just impeccable could not be faulted. I honestly think she should be given a pay rise she was that great. Jenna if you read this just know I WILL be back to this establishment all because of you. Thank you very much Jenna my new favourite place to visit.

Was greeted by a lovely staff member tonight in nandos fountain park. She helped me order through the QR code because I was unfamiliar due to not usually using my mobile phone. She added a great spirt in nandos and lifted the atmosphere. Will be back

Did you actually just send me a haggis for delivery that's been sitting up in the hot box for hours? 🤮🤮 Need a chainsaw to cut through that batter and when I finally managed that the haggis inside was so dry it glued my mouth together. Absolutely disgraceful and not meant for human consumption even a stray dog wouldn't eat that. You've lost a customer just because you were too lazy to fry a fresh haggis and couldn't bear to throw out one you made for the range upon opening today. Nice one.

Xiou Lee no like the hoagie from here, they not allow chilli sauce on hoagie, they also put salad when you not ask for salad, Xiou does not like salad. Salad make me sad. There is also a lack of fry rice and noodle suppers available. They also refused to deep fry apple. DANGER

This shop has been around the corner and I never had tried it. A big regret. I ordered fish and chips and a hotdog. The fish was super good. The batter was crispy and the fish was fresh. The owner was very kind and friendly. Loved the place! Would definitely go back for more.
