Awful food, really rushed, reheated, and sub-standard, with small portions for starters. This is a “beef curry”: enough said really. Look at the state of it. Meat was rotten. Absolutely disgusting. Rice Bowl’s then refused to facilitate the refund we asked for. Absolutely disgusted, avoid.

Ordered take away totally disgusting. Old vile couple, only interesting in taking money and giving dogs food, unedible, foul smelly old food, then pretending they dont understand english. Total scam.. They fully understand but keep that act to get away from issues.

Yes, it may take a little longer to arrive but it’s 100% worth the wait. All food ordered was perfect, fresh ingredients and authentic style. If you’re looking for a good Chinese takeaway, you’ve found it. Also, try the squid- whole chunks and incredible value. The fried rice is perfectly seasoned. Staff very polite when we called for an update on the order. Singapore noodles great portion full of vegetables and meat. I would much rather wait a bit more for delivery in order to get such good quality! Thanks guys 🖤

Really Bad! I ordered a meal on Uber Eats, and it showed as 'in delivery,' but I waited from 10 PM until 11:30 PM, and nobody came. They didn't answer the phone either. At 2 AM, it showed as 'delivered,' but it wasn't. I could only get a refund in the morning. If you don't want to deliver for Uber Eats, then don't use this app! I hope everyone be careful.

Ordered through UberEats just for it to be cancelled later because we are “‘outside of their delivery area “ even though they continue to show up as an option for this address and are not that far away

Vile .rubber chips .chicken off .waste of money threw it in the bin.stunk .why they do this I don't know. They lose customers doing this bad food.

Placed an order through Uber eats with a discount deal, then received a call saying it was cash only and they quoted the price without the discount. When we explained there was a discount on the order they refused to take the order and cancelled.

Great food and good value with helpful friendly staff

I have collected from Rice Bowl twice already. Plenty variations to choose from, it's really difficult to make up your mind. Anyway, service is helpful, and very quick. Portions are massive, chicken and ribs juicy. I think its best Chinese take away around. Defo will, be trying other items, and up loading more photos. Kung po special, thai King curry, biggest munchie box on the pictures.

Found my new favorite Chinese in Edinburgh! By far the best Dim sum I've had down here and the rest was fantastic too. Always decent delivery times (depending on the day you order of course) and price is V reasonable for the food you get. 10/10

Bought the bbq ribs and the chicken wings. They only gave 1 rib and 1 wing per person. The garlic chilli beef tasted really off & the chips were rock solid & no seasoning. Fast delivery

I just tried this Chinese shop as I was holidaying in Edinburgh. The food is amazing. I have tried the happy meal for two person and it’s pretty much filling for two people. I have tried the fried rice, boiled rice, crispy shredded beef, crispy pork bites, BBQ ribs and salt and chilly chicken wings. It was so delicious. Would recommend it to all.

Let me start with the fact that 20 minutes is not late :-) The most important thing for me, the food was warm, delicious and lots of it. I was the first time, I paid cash, although I was a little unsure , but everything was ok :-) Will definitely order again and I will share my opinion with you again. After the first order, I recommend 100%

We ordered Crispy noodles with vegetables, pork dumpling soup, chicken and mushroom soup, chicken noodle soup (excellent broth!!!), and duck oriental noodles. Food was lovely and fresh and delivered on time. Highly recommend!

Unacceptable service. I placed my order at 21.49, for the confirmation email that the order was accepted. At 23.00 (one hour and 11 minutes later) I have made a couple attempts to contact the restaurant but no reply. Soon after I got a text message saying that my order was cancelled..... shocking, unprofessional and will not be ordering from there again

I was sceptical about trying a Thai red curry from a Chinese but wow this was terrible, it didn't resemble a Thai curry in any way, the food was way over spiced with no actual flavour, really disappointing. Definitely the first and last time here for me

This is my favourite Chinese, I suppose it depends on what you like but my orders are always hot and fresh and delivery is quick. Their rice dishes are excellent and plentiful and if you like crispy shredded beef then order it here, I prefer it with the Peking sauce

I'm vegan and I wanted something different for a change, so I'd decided to go for a Chinese takeaway. I ordered it for 7 and it arrived at 8 - never experienced anything like it before. The food itself was disgusting. Let's just say that I would rather eat processed meat than this dog's dinner (and I'd be insulting my dog here).

Very good value. I don't understand why ratings are so low. Uber eats has a rating of 4.4, which is a much better reflection of what the quality actually is.

The worst chinese ever to exist. Period. I recently ordered some five spice chicken from them off uber eats. Prior to ordering, ilI called the restaurant to ask if the dish was spicy. I told them specifically that me and my flatmate doesnt want the food to be sweet and spicy and would prefer it to be just spicy. They told me there was nothing sweet about the dish and when the food finally Rrives, it was drenched in sugar syrup. Like some sort of sick joke.never ordering from them again. Also deleted uber eats just to be safe.

I would not have ordered had I seen these reviews, but I was on Ubereats where they are better. Perhaps I was lucky, as my experience was excellent. Arrived on time. Dishes that often don't travel well (lemon chicken, shredded beef) survived much better than most. Loads of food, excellent value.

Awful customer service. Rude and dismissive. Don't go there. Ordered on the phone, went to collect and was only then told it's cash only (this is not listed on the website, and was not told this on the phone either... pretty dodgy) I was rudely instructed there was a cash point at Tesco. Cash point was out of service. Came back to explain and was then told bluntly to pay via the JustEat website. The JustEat website tried to charge me £1.50 extra for 'delivery' which I refused to pay, are you joking me. The owner then proceeded to point blank ignore me and serve the other customers. I had no choice but to walk out with no food and have absolutely no intention of going back. I would suggest you also take your custom elsewhere.

We've always ordered food from here but yesterday, wow. Unfortunately willl be my last as it was horrible. Chips cold,soggy and wet from steam as wrapped up in bag then in carrier bag. Ordered chicken fried rice and was far the worst ever, couldnt eat it. It just tasted horrible with no flavour atall. It was like boiled rice had been sitting for ages ( pure white in colour not like fried rice) yet i ordered chicken fried rice defo wasnt fresh. Sadly all in bin.

Geninuely the worst Chinese I've ever had in my life. Was told the food would take an hour to arrive, fair enough it's a Saturday night. After the hour was up I asked where it was and was told it would be another 25 minutes, annoying but I appreciate it would be busy. 35 minutes after that, I still had no food, phoned the restaurant and was told it wouldn't be long. After waiting for just under 2 hours the food finally arrived, no apology from the delivery driver. The chips were stale, the tofu was soaking wet in grease, curry sauce was cold and the rice was inedible. I phoned the restaurant to complain, however the woman informed me that my food would arrive in 10 minutes. I said I already had the food but it was inedible, she said her English wasn't great and would get someone to phone me back. 45 minutes after that I phoned the restaurant back, I said the food was inedible and I wanted a refund. The man informed me that the rice was made with oil, to which I said I didn't care I just wanted a refund. He then proceeded to ask me if I had ate the food and if so how much. I told him I couldn't eat it and had to chuck it away. He then said I had to contact Just Eat for a refund, whilst Just Eat say I have to contact them to tag the order as complete. Shockingly poor food and shockingly poor customer service. Avoid these SCAMMING THIEVES at all costs

One of the best Chinese takeaways I've had. Never been disappointed with anything from Rice Bowl. Delivered quickly and politely.

Nearly £20 spent and mostly binned. Honey Bbq chicken was very watery with little taste and the chicken itself was boiled, very fatty with pieces of skin left. Chips weren't cooked well inside. Spring rolls were near empty and very oily. Sweet and sour shredded chicken was very stringy and unpleasant to eat. Will not be returning.

Many times I ordered a food from them, and most of times was really delicious. Mostly fast delivery.

have been waiting over and hour and a half for my food phoned up and they said it was ready but waiting for driver to come back to shop to pick it up and deliver it . Otherwise good food .

Ridiculous. Ordered near enough two hours ago baring in mind I am fifteen minutes maybe even less away ! .. I call four times to be told ten minutes an hour later I had to cancel as they were still trying to send the same soggy hours old food out ! Absolutely furious at the service Hear ! Staff pffftt .... don’t know ware they got any business/ or even people skills from !

The food from here was delicious! The dim sum was especially tasty and I really recommend trying the Sui mai or the Har Kau! The portion sizes from here are absolutely massive and something that you can definitely share with someone! The price is cheap as well so you get a tonne of food for much cheapness! The only thing I was sad about was the fact that the banana for the fritters were unripe and didn’t taste very nice, so I couldn’t really eat those.. However as I said before, the food is really good! Not to mention you get freebies if you order over a certain amount! Delivery time is quick as well!

Awesome food and very good sized portions. I've ordered some food for takeaway from here and it was the best! They even gave us free ribs. Seafood platter is highly recommended. With a £8.5 price tag, it is very fulfilling and tasty. Hot and sour soup had some offal taste, which I didn't like. Portion size of the chips was huge. Crispy duck came with warm mini pita breads. I loved it.

I ordered meal for two and was told it would be around an hour for delivery...when i called after an hour i was told another 20mins with a free order of prawn crackers (which are already included anyway)...after an hour and 40mins still no food and when i called a lame excuse of busy was offered n when i suggested they cancel they immediately said OK ....seems to me they were too busy and rather than tell customers they left them waiting too long...customer service is zero...

I was waiting 2 hours for my food. No one called to inform me about the late delivery. I had to call them 3 times. After 2 hours the food came so salty and disgusted. It was my First and Last time I odered any food from that2 place. If you got a choice- don't eat there, find the other place.

Worse Chinese ever. They take there phone off the hook when they are to busy. Mix up orders all the time. And there delivery driver is a sleeze.

I was told the order would be 40 minutes and it was an hour and 10 minutes. Ordered shredded salt and chilli chicken and it was terrible. For £5.60 there was hardly anything there and the chicken was so dry. The chilli was just bits of chilli seeds thrown in. Would not recommend this place. Jiuding or ginger express is better!

This is the best Chinese and the only one will order from! Your spicy chips are my fave thing ever!
