Mi esposa y ha hecho coger aquí dos veces y las dos veces la comida y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Tienen un menú extenso y muchas cosas son sin gluten o pueden ser novia si la pides. lechuga toque agradable de la zona. El personal es estupendo y el precio es genial. Tienen mesas pero están en el sol por las tardes. Quizás Shady a la hora de la comida. Pruébalo.

We visited this place last Saturday.the decor is bit on the dated side but we were there to eat the food, we had a deal that gave us 2 starters 2 mains +rice there was also bottle of wine thrown in all for £19.00.the starters were standard fare and ok the mains a combination curry and sizzling chicken dish for me were lovely although I have to admit I was a bit disappointed that my dish didn't actually sizzle when it was served up. But for value for money it was great.would I return? yes if there another deal on .my mrs loved it and was a5/5 me 4/5.charlie the food critic.

Visitamos aquí el viernes en una oferta por dos platos y vino y tengo que decir que el restaurante no podría haber hecho más para hacer que esta sea una experiencia agradable. El personal era amable y servicial, y la comida fue absolutamente deliciosa - nada nos podría criticar de ninguna manera. Dicho esto, la oferta era tan bueno que nos sentimos realmente culpable que había muy poca oportunidad de pasar en ningún extra (aunque no votan por Apple toffees después). Aunque éste no es nuestro restaurante chino más cercana, es un fácil viaje en autobús y sin duda volveremos y lo felizmente pagar este precio completo (lo que aún no es un gran problema, dada la comida y servicio). La decisión tardía para visitar Edimburgo para el día, así que descargar esta fantástica oferta de greatdeals.com - dos cursos + botella de vino + té/café por £19 para dos - precio increíble a Edimburgo. La comida era muy buena, muy sabrosa y recién preparada y el vino blanco era bueno. El restaurante era tranquilo, lo que fue muy bienvenido ya que algunos de los lugares de la ciudad puede ser demasiado llena, especialmente en la noche del sábado. está a sólo una milla y media de la estación de Haymarket y nos alegramos del paseo tras una agradable comida.

Nos detuvimos para un almuerzo rápido y tomaron el campo 3 oferta plato era precioso y, a continuación, main vinieron gran parte y para ser sincero del mejor alubias negras que he tenido! 3 almuerzo de campo con una bebida por £10. Gran oferta!

Fuimos aquí como una familia pero con un bono (para 2 personas) como para probar nuevos lugares con éstas. un error. Nos trataron muy bien como 'ciudadanos de segunda clase». Nuestro vale era para una comida de 3 platos, pero como no somos gente del desierto preguntamos si los niños pudieron haber nuestros postres. dijeron "no, tienes que comprar ellos una ducha separada desierto"!! lo siento, pero me pareció un poco excesivo - lo que les habría hecho si yo sólo pedimos el helado y luego pasó a mi hijo a comer, venga y llevado? sentimos que nos trataban como algo el director había vaciado en su zapato. Nunca volveremos.

Went for their lunch time special which was fantastic value for money, £6.95 for a three course lunch. Was genuinely surprised by how good the food is. Wold love to go back and try more of what their menu has to offer.

Have eaten here several times and its always good, staff are friendly and good service, would recommend to anyone.

Sólo había entregado a llevar a cabo esta noche- significaba que han sido filete filete en Black Bean y salsa dulce y amargo pollo- simplemente espantoso. Sin duda no grasa y filete todo el panecillo y el pollo seco y sin sabor- recalentados???

Went with a "great deal" voucher which we purchased in August. This restaurant is close to us so we were hoping for a good experience and perhaps a new place to eat out. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. Ate at 6.30pm so it was quiet and the girls serving were polite, although they didn't speak much English, however not a problem. Our starter, a butterfly king prawn was tasty although not as we expected it. We had not expected a deep fried version. We had to ask for some sauce as it was deep fried in breadcrumbs, was too dry on its own. The sauce was duly provided and with this it was extremely tasty. For main course we ordered a chicken with vegetables and cashew nuts and a seasonal veg with roast duck. The chicken dish was ok, the sauce a little insipid, however the duck dish had very little sauce and no mushroom, which was a main part of the dish, and my partners reason for ordering it. When we asked about the mushroom the manager came over to tell us that there was no mushroom with that dish. I had to ask for the menu to be brought over to prove to him that there was! He agreed this was a mistake but was not gracious about this and a few minutes later turned up with 4 mushrooms on a saucer, no apology. We then saw another booking arrive who were welcomed with smiles. Perhaps they weren't bringing a voucher with them... Anyhow our bill came to £20 just for our extras which were 2 starters and 2 wine so its not as if we just used our voucher and didn;t spend. We saw on our bill that we had also been charged £1.50 for the few teaspoonfuls of sweet chilli sauce we asked for with the prawns which I thought absolutely shocking. Its only pence however a good restaurant would provide that for a potential new customer or would mention the extra charge when we asked for it.On paying, their card machine put my bill through twice, yet they couldn't provide me with anything to prove I hadn;t been charged twice. Said not their fault! I shall need to call the bank first thing Monday.We definitely will never return here, we could have had a nice experience if the service had been better but as such we felt poorly treated. I;d rather have paid full price in a good chinese restaurant than suffered the poor service and surroundings of the IChing.A message to the manager, if you are going to put a voucher out then realise this is potential new custom and treat people that way, it will bear fruit later if not on the night.

Tuesday nite, me and my young daughter there for takeaway. While I was waiting for my meal, I heard someone clearing their throat in the kitchen area (which I could see from where I was Waiting). I was absolutely shocked to see one of the cooks spitting flem on the floor..DISGUSTING !!. I didn't want to create a fuss and my meal was already paid for so I took it when it was ready, left and promptly put it straight in the street bin outside.

I live up the road from I-Ching and pass it daily, as you can't see in any of the windows and I didn't know anyone else who had eaten there it took my a while to getting around to trying it. I am very pleased I did and will be back!I went there with my mother (who is a vegetarian like me) and my father (meat eater). Upon going inside the decor was a little tasteless and the atmosphere was more of being in a cafe than a restaurant for dinner. 'Heron amongst reeds' paintings on the light purple walls and gaps of sunlight coming from behind the devider that seperates the restaurant from the takeaway entrance BUT it was extremely clean, there were nicely folded napkins and the tables were well placed with comfortable seats. The staff were friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to care that we enjoyed our meal. We ordered (to share) Fried Beancurd with chill & salt, Fried Beancurd in Szechuan sauce, Vegetable fried noodles, Singapore fried noodles and (just for my father) Chicken friend rice. I ordered sweetcorn & beancurd soup to start but didn't finish it as it was thicker and sweeter than expected, but it is SUPPOSED to be like that and I simply hadn't had it before. We had complimentary prawn crackers as we waited for the food which was prepared freshly, when it arrived we were very impressed by the portion size. We were provided with a little food warmer to keep dishes hot as we mixed and matched. It was all extremely delicious and we all ate until we couldn't eat any more, and there was plenty left over, we felt guilty but we were stuffed! Of course we managed dessert, which we believe were bought-in ice creams but there was a decent choice and they were enjoyable.All in all I would recommend this restaurant for families (buggy/wheelchair accessable, dedicated baby changing room), vegetarians, groups of students, anyone looking for a big meal. Perhaps not for romantic dinners or for quick light bites. Meals cost £12-15 per person for 3 courses.

Amazing choice of varied food on the 3 course lunch time buffet £5.95. Great "All you can eat menu" from 4.30pm - 8.30pm for £16.95 and if you don't want anything from set menus you can order from the main menu all for an average price. Spacious little restaurant not to fancy but food is cooked to order and always served pipping hot!You even get hot hand wipe cloths and the end of your meal. Lovely little touch. It also has a take away service.

We have now been to I-Ching about five times in the last 9 months and I have to say that for someone looking for a quick bite to eat at lunch time, you cannot beat a three course meal at £5.95. The food is fresh and piping hot, where you have a varied selection of starters and main courses , with ice cream or bannana fritter thrown in at the end.We have also dined in the evening where the choice increases significantly and again it is all the best you can ask for fast flowing chinese food.If you live on the west side of the city , give it a try , you will not be disappointed .

i ordered a takeaway and waited less than 5 min for it, hmm strange, so it wasnt freshly prepared. when i got it home I started eating and felt something hard. A piece of metal was in my meal! Absolutely disgraceful.
