I came here quite early in the morning for a sobby goodbye, but Kenneth provided me with an excellent service and brought back my smile. Eman was the kindest too, thank you both!

We left home yesterday and haven't managed to find a decent mocha anywhere, until we arrived here... Finally a decent mocha!! Thank you Kenneth! Staff were also warm and friendly, making good conversation and enquiring after our comfort regarding music volume.

Terrible service, high prices, cold and bad breakfasts. Very little variety, the waiter leaves a lot to be desired. Not helpful at all. I will not repeat.

At airport today! Had a magical experience with the staff Kenneth who was polite professional and happy to assist my self. Michelle the duty manager that was on shift could not be more of help so friendly and out going these two people definitely deserved to be recognized, i would also like to thank tiago the guy who took over for the connected assistant 5 stars plus all round look for to my next trip in a few weeks.

I was in the other day before my flight and Morgan was very kind and helpful. She was very tentative to my family and I and had amazing service

If you are looking for a relaxing place to grab a bite or a drink before your flight, Bridge & Castle is the perfect choice. I popped in for a bite to eat before my flight, I received excellent service from Morgan, she was friendly with me and is efficient at her job. I will definitely be back!

Sat down to find out they had no physical menus and had to order online. no problem. payment fails. we spend 5 - 10 minutes trying to debug but can't get payments to work, so we ask staff if we can order over the counter. they refused and told us that we could only order online. another 5 - 10 minutes of debugging and we ask staff for help with online ordering. refused again. so we left. since there was no way to pay for the £57 meal set we wanted. Ended up going to Pretz next door and the prices were better and the staff nicer. --- If you want to have online ordering that's fine, but you need to have an alternative / backup way to process orders. As a web developer, crossing your fingers and hoping a site will work on all customers devices is fool hardy. Modern POS are super cheap and totally affordable. So please don't skimp on alternative / backup ordering systems.

Had a lovely pre flight drink and snack. Shaun was lovely and attentive, without being overbearing, definitely recommend for an early for check in meal/drink

Chips need improving and slightly higher quantity. Burger sauce needs improving. No chicken burger available in the day.

Good place for a drink and seat before flight

No care, no enthusiasm are two of many descriptive words I would use for this poor establishment. Ordered a flat white and when it was delivered , half of was in the saucer in comparison to the actual cup. Apple juice was average. The staff seemed to mumble and overall just not care about the customers. Before you go through security your options are extremely low so we chose this place because it looked different. Wish we just stayed with a well known chain. Most tables full of crumbs, staff miserable and overall just a horrible experience. To make it worst they weren’t even busy, maybe the reason why has something to do with poor staff attitudes

Tasted Chicken Curry with rice , chicken burger - both tasted good and the service was good.

Had a few drinks before flying to Ibiza in September. Highlight was the service from Kenneth. Lovely, polite, funny, entertaining and enjoyed our pre-flight voddies. Grey Goose of course 😀. Thanks Kenneth ❤️

I had some time to kill and was hungry, so I decided to eat here. First of all, the self-ordering system didn’t work. When I went to the desk where the bartender was standing, he said that the chef was on a break and would be back in 30 minutes. So, I waited, but nothing happened. The chef was basically just standing at the bar, talking on the phone, and occasionally doing some cleaning during that time. After about 45 minutes, the bartender and chef took all the menus from the tables without saying anything. There were also a couple of other people who had been waiting for quite a while. After an hour, I went to ask if the chef was ready to cook. The bartender looked at the chef, who was standing near him, and he just shook his head. So, they made us wait and didn’t even bother to say that no food would be served anymore! Very unprofessional and ignorant staff.

I didn’t eat here, but my service at the bar was fantastic. I was served by Kenneth who was very polite and chatty. I am not the most comfortable flying and he put me right at ease. Will definitely be looking out for him the next time I fly from Edinburgh. Thanks K Teigan

There is no way this is a double of Baileys. They shortchange you and charge an exorbitant amount.

We chose Bridge & castle bar because it is clean and bright, very spacious for 3 luggages next to seats. Is a scan and order service but we are very happy to have Ally offer his service while we are submitting our orders. He is very friendly and attentive Thank you Ally. Each table is nicely spaced and some tables have 3 pins charging ports. Food and beverages are served hot and quick. Highly recommended especially if you are early for your flight.

I arrived Edinburgh Airport early so i had to look for something to eat. There are few coffee shops, restaurants but Bridge & Castle Bar caught my attention. It was the best decision that i chose Bridge and Castle bar👍. The Cheese & Bacon Chicken Burger was tasty. Their service was awesome. No difficulty in ordering. Atmosphere was pleasant. The place is not crowded. I enjoyed chilling while waiting for my flight. Recommendable!

Llegamos para el desayuno antes de nuestro vuelo. No fuimos recibidos por ningún miembro del personal, así que elegimos ordenar a través de la aplicación. Pedí té y tuve que pedirlo en dos ocasiones después de que nuestros desayunos habían llegado. Ambos miembros del personal no estaban haciendo nada y parecían no tener intención de lograrlo. Luego me dieron tazas y bolsitas de té para prepararme. El restaurante era tranquilo en este momento, así que no hay excusa para el lento mal servicio. ¡No volverá!

Vist on 16/10/24 at 14.30 member of staff (oluwayem) was very rude. When starting to order my meal and drinks. I was told to wait so she could a tell other member of staff who was at the otherside of the bar that he needs to go faster. When ordering they was no eye contact from her at all. After I order my meal I was told the total price without any politeness at all. The total was £30.67 so I handed £41.00 , Oluwayem then look at the money i gave her and try to give me back my £1 and said that I would be getting coins back anyway I try to explain i gave her £41 so I could have a ten pound note back and the rest of my cash back. Oluwayem then that a annoy look on her face and roll her eyes . At this point a other member of staff who overhear came by to help. Oluwayem then handed me a £10 note rest of cash back. Oluwayem then said" I told him that he would get coins back" before walking away. I was shock she just walk away. The other member of staff try her best to apologise and told me she would speak to oluwayem. I really hope oluwayem gets more customer service training as she really needs it.

Perfectly adequate in the context of airport catering, and probably as good as Edinburgh can offer for a cooked meal. Wine was good.

Served by Iyan. He saw my uniform and checked if I knew about offers for fellow airport workers. I did not know so thank you to him. Coffee also very good.

The staffs are friendly and it’s very near to departure gate. We ordered a vegan nachos and it tasted surprisingly delicious!

Just what we needed after a long flight. Will be back again. Crisp pints of iced water and enough brown sauce to make any Scot proud, flowed like a Highland stream. Good burger. Good spot for people watching.

4 hours to spend at the airport and this place drew me in with it’s welcoming space with a surprisingly snug feeling despite busyness and noise everywhere else. Friendly staff. Shaun in particular was very approachable, chatty and kind. I just had a latte (sadly no decaf from the espresso machine).

Pedí una hamburguesa de carne con lechuga y tomate. Salió con mostaza por toda la hamburguesa. Les pedí que lo rehiciesen según mi pedido original. Me trajeron un bollo con lechuga y tomate, pero NO HAMBURGUESA! La tercera vez no fue un encanto, ya que luego me trajeron una pechuga de pollo empanada en un bollo con solo lechuga! Debería haber cogido un sándwich en una de las otras tiendas vecinas. Si decides comer aquí, déjate tiempo extra para lidiar con su incompetencia.

Food was lovely, very filling. Only thing we weren’t to keen on was using the app to pay. It took to much time and couldn’t am mend anything that we needed.

Had food here with my family before our flight. There was a load of little flies flying around, the barman was a helpful as a toaster in the bath. And the food ok at best and given the price we paid I’d of expected a little better service and better quality food I won’t eat or drink here again!!!!

Such a poor breakfast. £43 for 1 bacon roll, 1 poached egg with avo on toast (toast was so soggy I couldn’t eat it), Bloody Mary the worst I’ve ever had. Simply vodka and tomato juice. No flavouring, spice, garnish. I did raise our disappointment but simply got more of the same.

An early start meant I was famished, so a bacon roll prepared by Alex was just the job! It arrived promptly and was very tasty. I was served by a cheerful, pleasant young woman. Not a bad start to my journey!

Veeeeery unfriendly!!!!!! Never again... The “nice” man behind the counter (dyed blonde hair) snapped at us and ran away during the conversation!! Never again!

I give 5 stars for the service because of Shaun. He is the most caring staff in this restaurant.

We (Mr & Mrs Smith) were welcomed by Kenneth who went the extra mile to get us the two full breakfasts we had been looking forward to after a long early morning drive to the airport (despite the fact that they were only serving breakfast rolls officially ;). Kenneth was a great front of house person… welcoming, friendly, effectively helpful and just the right of personal. Good start to our trip.
