Verry, verry BAD Dont go here 🙈😱

Found a little green insect on food 30/08/24 which was still alive. Unfortunately noticed it at end of meal on a popadom. Husband pointed out to waiter and showed him. The waiter grudgingly apologised and said there wasn’t much he can do about it and after telling him we weren’t happy he said he would pass in to manager who would speak to us. No manager appeared. Poor service.

No many food options and nothing for gluten intolerance. But the staff is awesome, pleasant and very attentive

Outrageous, we asked for paper to clean our table after paying £83.33 on 10/7/23 at 6:48 p.m.!! Tbl46/1 Terrible service, cutlery thrown on the table, staff bordering on correction (cash register and service) except the young lady who wanted to listen to my remarks when we left. Flee this place, go next door.... Some 12 months later I notice that some comments are similar to mine.... Go elsewhere especially

Saturday and back home in Sweden! We just read a reply and thank you for refunding the money and it came into the account today. We ordered burgers and after 30 minutes I asked where the food was. It takes 45 minutes, I was then told. When I ordered and paid, no one said anything about this waiting time. We didn't have that time and when two girls at our table got their food I asked, again, where our food was. Now 40 minutes had passed. That lady was just rude. I went to the till and explained again that we would not have ordered if we had known about this waiting time. She then said they are paying back and she took my card and actually apologized. In the same vein, the food arrived and she apologized again and said the money would be returned. I haven't received them yet but it will take a while. We were in a hurry and just ate the hamburger itself, the meat. It was not nice to throw up the food. My burger was also burnt. No rating for the food as there are no minuses. It just feels sad... Imagine how easy it would be to have a sign showing that there is a long wait. Now that we've checked in, we have to find a better place.

We went there for breakfast and the bar code on a table don't work. now we go to the bar and they said they don't do breakfast in 10 am on Friday. Take the menu down then don't waste our time

Initially had problems ordering using QR scanner as I wanted brown toast but it only listed white. A very helpful young lady called Yemi was able to assist me and managed to get me brown toast. She was a very pleasant young lady.

Terribly expensive and £17.99 for a tiny burger.....shocking.!!!!!!

The chicken curry was good. Raagi did a great job attending and was so friendly and helpful!

At the Edinburgh airport restaurant,Chicken masala and cauliflower curry were so yummy. Emma, waitress was lovely.I recommend to have their curry before the flight.

Only bacon rolls on sale @ £7.49 each. Apparently it was out of their control that a full menu wasn't available. In my opinion the cost of the roll should have been reduced as good customer service. No pepper in the pot, no napkin with the roll & no spoon for the tea bag removal & to top it off no saucer for the coffee cup ! I can't recommend anything as only bacon rolls were available! £22.16 for two bacon rolls, one tea & one coffee !

terrible service, we were served 40 minutes after our order, and they forgot 2 out of 4 dishes... the scones (which do not look like scones, see photo) are inedible, the soft waffles heated in the microwave, and the butter arrived in a container in liquid form...

Terrible idea I have to work for you to place an order and you have the courage to suggest that I also tip you. Also the waiting time minimum 15 minutes only comes out at the end of the order. Zero stars!!!!

From my personal experience: Fresh and more happier atmosphere. Food is good and neat. Silverware was for self-service and more convenient. Cool and polite staffs. I had good service. We need to be paitent and enjoy the atmosphere. I would recommmend people who are not in hurry can chill and hangout with family. keep it up!!!

Ordered garden (plant based) breakfast via QR code. Then told after 20 mins there was no avocado. Offered an egg - I dont eat eggs. So after 1/2 hours and £12 later heres a photo of my breakfast. Oh and the frozen spinach blob was cold

The seating area is nice and you can order via QR code. However it’s a wait and then it’s really awful. Not good quality, overcooked and overpriced

They definitely need more staff. There is no interaction with guests at all. We waited a long time for food.

To be honest, this is probably the worst restaurant I have eaten at for a long time, it seemed that they were short of staff, so they were having to run around a bit, so We were reluctant to complain about the awful food, which was really expensive and missing items. The food was cold, as were the cappuccinos at £3.99 each, the food then got even colder, because there was no cutlery when it arrived, so we had to wait until some had gone through the dishwasher. The Belgian waffle that was served with the ice cream looked liked it had been microwaved for 5 minutes, and was burned and solid in the middle, it was also missing the sauce. So all in all a horrible experience. We use Edinburgh Airport quite a lot, but in future will probably just get a sandwich from one of the other outlets there. I definitely couldn't recommend this restaurant, The food that is served there is an embarrassment considering the quality of Scottish produce.

This place is awful. You order on your phone and tip upfront . My food was served but I had no silverware. Apparently we're to have gone and gotten it ourselves . I asked where my drinks were and she brought them over halfway through meal, 15 minutes after arrival for a coffee. I asked server about sugar and she pointed towards bar. So had to get up and get that also. So while this place looks like a sit down restaurant, it's just bad counter service. Food was average.

Thanks so much the guy working on the 20th for helping me out so I could get the bus. A total unselfish act of kindness. That was so kind. What a personnel they have.

They say that the dishes arrive in 15 minutes maximum, when in reality they take 30 minutes. For an airport restaurant, very bad :(

Michelle, you have made our stressful time relaxing and a pleasure. The food and drinks were really lovely. Having worked in the public sector for 35years, I can truly say that this service was exceptional. I'll come back here on my next Edinburgh flight.

You live you learn: Aperol spritz= wine (or sparklin wine) + Aperol + water.....if Italian people sais to you that you mistake the cocktail, believe them. We do notte ask for Aperol collis = Aperol + soda.So mustached man stady the art of cocktails

Absolutely awful! Will not go there again. Ordered the Ultimate Breakfast for myself and my husband which included square sausage only to be brought Cumberland sausages . After telling staff he then told us they didn’t do Lorna sausage, only Cumberland despite me showing my receipt . He then stated he’d cook us lorne free after saying they didn’t have them. Bacon was like shoe leather and inedible and the coffee and hot chocolate were stone cold! Instead of taking our plates back while the lorne was being cooked he left them resulting in the food being cold! £44 for breakfast for 2 people! Dump of a place!

We were served by Vicky, was absolutely mobbed for the football and service was still quick and done so with a smile.

The breakfast was delicious, the girl at the tills Raggi was sweet, she helped in amending my breakfast. Very professional.

We had a delayed flight so this restaurant was available for seating. Burger was slightly overcooked, but the Tikka Masala was nice and the chips were good. Raggi was really sweet and took care of us upon arrival. Pleasant experience

Very comfortable and good service, Raagi was excellent with us trying to understand what we wanted to choose. The meat burger was very delicious, the chicken one not so much, the bad thing is that we wanted to eat the fish and chips, but there weren't any today, only burgers 😩

Ordered our breakfast via the app separately. One of them came to the table just fine.l, however, the second never arrived. Despite asking staff twice, the order never seemed to make it to the kitchen. When requesting a refund for the missing items, we were asked to go through an email process. We were sat at the table for over an hour. With food taking at least 30 minutes to arrive. No staff came to check on the table in this time - despite one order arriving, no one checked if there was anything else for the table.

Very sad. I came in for breakfast with my partner, I had the bacon roll and she had the big breakfast roll. My bacon roll had one single piece of bacon!!! Lucky my partner is lovely and gave me some of her bacon. £6.99 for a roll and a single piece of bacon that when I opened it to put sauce on, barely covered half the roll. We ordered coffee and after we'd placed the order, they decided to clean the coffee machine! There were quite a few people in too, odd time to clean it.

The staff member Michelle was so so helpful. She took the time to graciously explain to us how to order our food. Michelle is certainly an excellent staff. Thank you Michelle 💕

Unbelievably slow service. Plus constantly asking for parts of the order than having to wait 10-15 minutes for it to arrive.

Food came out lukewarm. Service was slow, non of our orders came out right and they were not very nice, would not recommend going

They promised to have my food delivered within 15 minutes, but the truth is we waited more than 25 minutes for our order. When I questioned the staff why it took so long and they made invalid promises, they told me to cancel order or wait for another 10 minutes.

Never go there very poor food and very bad service. No one cares here !!

Airports are not, admittedly, the ideal location to look for a great eatery, but when you are facing a long layover and your choice is limited to whatever a given airport has to offer, you are thankful for finding a place like the Bridge & Castle bar just before passport control at Edinburgh Airport. The food (burgers and lager) we had was good and served rather quickly, and if we had been worried at all about the anonimity of the restaurant, (our walter) Gabriel's wit and good humour soon made us change our minds.

Waited for almost 30 minutes for my fish and chips. It came without the sauce and the portion was too small for the price.

Poor condition. Burnt sausages and bacon. Grumpy service. The only redeeming feature was the IPA. Not recommended for food. I wish i had another choice...

A very pleasant porridge served in a calm setting. The server is very attentive and available. We warmly recommend.

It's the only bar before going through to departures, but I expected better. Lots of dirty tables on the evening we visited. Drinks and bar snacks expensive. Not much atmosphere

Food was not value for money. We chose to spend the extra £2 to add pulled beef and the result was a dessert spoonful of beef. When we pointed this out the waitress did bring some more. The smoked salmon platter was uninspiring. The staff were very pleasant. This was first visit but when I'm next at Edinburgh Airport, I will go elsewhere for food.

Stopped in for a bit after my flight. Ordered the bacon and cheddar burger and two chicken Cesar salads. The salads looked good and were brought out under 15 minutes of waiting. The burger on the other hand, I waived the waitress down because I had been waiting almost 25 minutes. She brought it out soon after but it was missing the cheddar lol. So I had a bacon burger because I didn’t want to wait longer for them to fix it.

Lovely stop for a much-needed break at the airport. Our server Raagi was very kind and friendly!

I had some nice glasses of Guinness and a small meal. With Gabriel whizzing about, you don’t have to wait very long for his interested attention and fast service! He also finds time to chat without missing a beat. Great guy, great service!

The only issues we've got was that the staff forgot our order. Coffee and burgers reached to us within 15 minutes, but dessert did not. Only when we asked for dessert did we get it. It was one hour later.

The food was great, the space was clean and if you have the joys of meeting Gabriel he is an absolute charmer! Is always quick going around the show and making sure it runs, and, has the nicest chats with the customers. He really wants to make you smile! 😁 Whoever owns the place really outta give him a raise tbh tbh 😆 thanks for starting my Scotland trip off so great!
