Fortune Star in Bexley

When ordered was told 45-60 mins, nearly 2hrs later lukewarm food arrived. Beef dish was foul, cheap chewy 'meat'. tiny salt and pepper portion same for the prawn crackers. Don't waste your time and money, plenty more out there!

The food was ok at best the crispy shredded beef was awful it had no beef and it cost £6.80 what a rip off I won’t be going there again.

We’ve been going here for years and we love it! We always collect, the food is so good (not greasy!), and it’s ready in no time

Claimed they had delivered at 1925, then said delayed delivered until 2040, refused refund. Morally bankrupt scum

Previously as you can see i was singing the praises of this restaurant and have used them for years, being disabled i would even use them a couple of times a week if my pain was severe. Sadly their customer service is now atrocious. I was told that i was no longer able to order as i live in a flat and it takes too long to go up all the stairs or the lift.... I live on the ground floor and even after i explained they could hand it through a window or leave it outside for me to collect they said it would take too long and they are only delivering to houses! Never have i experienced anything like this and in a time when disabled people are particularly vulnerable excluding those of us in accessible living or in flats seems clasist and discriminatory to those of us who aren't fortunate enough to afford a house in the suburbs!

Won't take orders at all to anyone who lives in a flat as it takes to long for them to go up and down... despite being a customer for years and living on the ground floor!!!

Ordered a meal for my disabled partner as a treat as I'm in isolation 130 miles away. I've been a customer for over 6 years but they say they are too busy to deliver as he lives in a flat! Didn't even ask if he was on the ground floor! Just said take too long to go up and down. Companies should remember that bad customer service now will be remembered after lockdown is over!!

I just rang to see how long until my order was going to be delivered as it was already 1hour and 15 minutes they said one hour she replied that my order was on its way I asked how long she said there was a lot of traffic I said I was prepared to wait only another 10 mins and she just said ok I will tell drive to turn back. An apology would have been nice will never use again

I absolutely love the food from this place but 9 times out of 10 my order gets declined on the just eat app and when you try to ring they never answer.

What an insult. How this business can charge for the ready-meal type food produced, one can't imagine. Having spent a considerable amount of money here on a takeaway for my Girlfriend and I, we ended up throwing the whole lot away due to the bland and extremely poor food thrown out of this place. If I could advise anything to anyone, avoid this place. Thanks.

Just ordered a delivery only to find out half an hour later they've cancelled it! When I phoned a very rude lady said they were too busy! Unacceptable they only had to let us know we had a little longer to wait. Won't be returning

restaurant seems to delay the order if it’s through just eat. rude to talk to and very dismissive. waited nearly 2 hours. won’t be making that mistake again.

Food was nice. However being phoned by the restaurant to request 50p to give the driver on top of my over20 pound order for seperate sauce. I felt was rude and could of atleast said next time we're charge you or add a box to actually add the 50p on when ordering.

Booked a takeaway with this place to be told by the rude lady that we would have to wait 90 minutes for our Chinese. After 90 minutes had passed we received a phone call to say our order was cancelled even though we had already paid on order. No explanation as to why they cancelled or apology!!!! This place is a joke

The balls were to doughy, the crispy duck lacked any crispness, the not and sour soup lacked any sourness. All in all, a very bland experience. Apart from the king prawn noodles, which turned out to be a Sinapore noodle with prawns. There’s no need to add the curry powder to the noodles. Very strange. But whatever, it’s only a Chinese takeaway and not a gourmet dinner

from the moment we ordered they added 30 minutes. after 90 minutes waiting (15 minutes late) we called, and was told its not left yet and will be another 30 minutes. food was average not great.

I will never buy food here! the customer service i experienced from the rude lady on the phone was mind blowing. She was disrespectful and refused to apologise when my food took 2 hours to come. She needs to be fired and get out of the customer service business if she is that miserable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first time ordering from this restaurant. I don’t think I will again. I ordered amongst other things the audourves and the chicken on skewers were like rubber, when pulled apart were like elastic. The poultry tasted artificial, I would almost ask if it was even chicken.

I was told the restaurant added 30 mins to my delivery time but then turned up at the expected time anyway!

Arrived on time, food was bland and poor quality. Chicken in black bean had no favour and the prawns were over cooked. Best part of the meal were the crispy chips.

Wonderful food that's delivered within minutes. Their chips are better than any chip shop! And I don't know how they make their BBQ sauce but there's no sauce like it. I have got so obsessed with my normal order I can't not have their ribs! It's good quality, I've been a consistent customer for over a year now and never had an issue! I'm also disabled and they are very understanding that I take longer getting to the door, the lady on the phone order line who normally takes my order is very friendly which is great. Honestly I can't fault them. Thanks for being my local!

We had the sweet and sour chicken - which wasn’t too saucy, but actually, just right. The noodles were nice too, not too greasy. We also had the satay chicken, which actually came in a sauce, but we hadn’t realised that, thought it’d be more of a coating. I’d ordered the sauce as extra and used a bit more to mix with the noodles. They added an extra 20mins onto the delivery time when it was confirmed, so had to wait quite a bit, but at least we were aware of that! I’d defo buy my Chinese from there again!

The only negative thing about the order was that I ordered two hours in advance and it still arrived 30 minutes late. I would like to think that two hours is sufficient notice to deliver a service.

I normally order from these guys on a regular basis, however, this time the food was awful, watery, runny, no vegetables, soggy, tasteless and bland. I rang up and told them, they admitted they have changed their chef and I have to say the qualilty has suffered. I asked them if they could offer a solution as I have an uneaten food. They said No because I ordered through Just Eat. Not impressed!! they have lost me as a customer~!!! Zero stars for Fortune Star!! NOT GOOD DO NOT BUY FRM THEM NOT WORTH THE RISK!

Unfortunately this will be the last time we order from here. The food is good but this evening we waited over 1.5 hrs for delivery. We placed our order at 7.25 but food did not arrive until 9pm despite being assured delivery would be at least half hour earlier. When we contacted the restaurant we were brushed off with the explanation that they were busy and that it would be at least another 10 minutes. This was already 15 minutes past the delivery time but delivery was then finally made half hour later. This is incredibly disappointing as we have been local customers for years but shall be taking out business elsewhere.

My food was 2 hours late because apparently it was delivered to the wrong address. When my food finally arrived I was insulted by the £1 off voucher ! shocking ! will never use this take away or just eat app again !
