The rice was in ver cooked more like a porridge, no spice at all , just some boiled veggies and shredded chicken and stale shrimps . The oil was stale too . Had a funny taste . The worst chinese food i have ever tried in Coventry. Please avoid this place like the plague.

I use this takeaway all the time and have never had poor food from it ever and the price is reasonable.

Ordered a variety of things, salt and chilli beef which was basically deep fried pork fat, salt and chilli wings are just the wings from next door to them chicken shop, everything is coated in fat, spring rolls are unbelievable fat dripping rolls. What to say about customer service, came to collect and he’s looking at me not saying a word, no hi, nothing, I said hello, he was like what you’re here for? I’m like collection, and then when he came with the order he took 2 minutes to read my name and didn’t want to give me the food. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Unhealthy take away and I will try to get the inspection in there ASAP. And this review is 100% getting deleted.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight. I usually order from jade palace or golden dragon. Unfortunately the food from fortune manor was awful. The salt and chilli squid tasted like it had been reheated from the day before, the batter on it looked stodgy and old. The chowmein had a very strange taste to it and even the chips seemed like they had been reheated in the microwave from being cooked three days prior. I have never had bad chips from a Chinese takeaway before but these were just bad. The only thing that was quite tasty was the curry sauce from the duck curry I ordered. Unfortunately the actual duck meat in the curry tasted horrendous aswell. All in all it was a horrible meal and 5 minutes into eating, my wife and I threw the whole thing in the bin and decided to leave the review. It wasn’t the worst food I’ve had but it is the worst Chinese takeout food I have ever had. Their kitchen needs SERIOUS work and I suspect a great deal of the food to be reheated from either earlier in the day or earlier in the week. I do hope I won’t be sick from this as I still ate some of the food as to not be a total waste of money. But it didn’t taste rancid, just plain bad. I will never order from here again and will advise anyone I know to avoid the place like the plague.

Ordered many times from this place, never had a bad dish. Duck is to die for and will be ordering many times in the future

After having problems (lack of communication and drivers who cant find my address) I ordered from this takeaway. They cooked me something I requested that wasnt on the menu, which was nice. Very quick delivery. People might find it interesting to know that over the last few years there has been a change of management, so its better now and staff are friendlyl at last.

I ordered take away from here this evening, I found black hair in the rice and then in the chips, I called them and they said sorry about that and laughed. Offered new food but I refused as it made me feel sick was not offered a refund would never order from here again!!
