Table service at the moment due to covid, hand sanitiser was offered,prices was reasonable for the food. The food was delicious and well worth the money. Cafe was nice and clean and staff was polite. Would certainly come back again.

Went here for a spur of the moment breakfast - clean establishment but what cafe do you know "can't do poached eggs only fried or scrambled". Reluctantly agreed to a fried egg on white toast smothered in oil (no alternative to oil was available and neither was brown bread - apparently they only buy in a small quantity of brown as "nobody asks for it")..... When it arrived, just to top off my disastrous experience, the bread was mouldy!!!!! If it wasn't such a dire experience it would have been funny. Small cafe in Gabalfa, attracts people who don't work and foul mouthed school mums.... NEVER visiting again 😳

Well worth a try this cafe. Second time I have been and just as good as the first. Had a big breakfast and latte coffee. Both excellent. Coffee was proper coffee and I only just finished the breakfast. Fast service and nice and clean inside. Must be relatively new as only just found the place. Won't be going anywhere else.

Clean. Decent breakfast. If you want a decent coffee you have to pay more . Can't beat Beppes in llandaff north, they know how to do it, inc real, not false smiles!

come here regularly, food is always perfectly cooked, lovely people run the cafe always a smile when you go in, always spotlessly clean, breakfasts are amazing value for money, always say im going to try the sandwiches ect but cant get past the fry up!!!

Went here for a breakfast and once again my eyes are bigger than my belly I ordered a large breakfast I wish I ordered a smaller option. It was filling and quality products used in will be back for more and this place is responsible priced for the quality you get

I'm not keen on the phrase 'greasy spoon' when it comed to describing The Fork and Spoon Cafe, as there's no sign of grease on the plates or anywhere else for that matter. Probably one of the tastiest, value-for-money breakfasts you'll have in Cardiff. The owners are incredibly friendly, the cafe itself is spotless; the service is always prompt, and the food tastes fresh, and never stodgy. It may not carry the widest selection of meals, but when you produce food this good, you don't need to have a 10 page menu. A little gem of a cafe, and well worth visiting.

I go here regularly. Its nice to see a small business doing well in this world of corporate rubbish and mass produced filth. It is a pleasant venue with friendly proprietors and good value, fresh British breakfast and lunch cuisine. The Fork and Spoon is a shining example of how a small out of town venue can be successful with the right amount of care and attention. Well worth a visit.
