Forge on the Green in Woking

Egg and bacon roll on the breakfast menu but can't have without bacon; toasted cheese sandwich only on lunch menu..starting at 11.30am; spinach and feta frittata..warm stone cold in the middle ...no cinnamon buns....

Great venue and atmosphere average prices One big draw back……all cakes & savouries are on work top uncovered! Card machine right next to sausage rolls uncovered. Customers choosing food are talking and coughing over the uncovered food, very unhygienic

This cafe has a lovely ambiance. The decor is clean and sophisticated. We had excellent flat whites with tasty croissants. Nice outdoor area.

Visited here a couple of times in 2023. Super building with excellent toilet facilities, staff pleasant. The big drawback was that on both occasions it was a hot day and we visited shortly before closing time. All the cakes were in the open, not protected from flies and as a result were dry. We would suggest that cakes should be covered at all times.

What a gem in a stunning setting but more importantly, we were greeted with smiles! There were so many of my favourite cakes that it was tricky to choose and the coffee was delicious served in a mug not a small cup. The Forge is stunning inside and just a wonderful place to visit.
