Very very disappointed with a Christmas party meal. I have never seen such awfully presented and unpleasant food in my life!! Dog food would have probably been better. Crockery like in a cheap motel, and a paper ramekin???? In a 4 star hotel???? I don't know if my serving was costed at more than a £1, so whatever the rest £34 were for?? I was absolutely disgusted last night. A real rip off. How are you not ashamed? We could see actually that your staff were embarrassed serving and seeing the faces of guests. Absolute shame on the management. If you are going to serve such junk, why do you even bother organising christmas parties?

Room for improvement. Pork was fatty but not crispy, kale was chewy, fish was fine but the vegetables that accompanied it were swimming in oil and as it was served in a bowl everything was all mixed together. What is it with serving things in bowls???!! On a plate it would have probably tasted much better as it wouldn’t have all jumbled together. Cheese and biscuits were fine as was the red wine. White wine on the other hand was too warm. Staff were friendly but not attentive as they seemed to have too many things to do despite there not being many people in the restaurant. If you are staying at the hotel and the rain is tipping down outside then the food is ok enough to see you through the evening but otherwise there are plenty of other places to eat.

The atmosphere in this less than hospitable establishment drains you as you enter, it's like a sad trap! On the face of it the limited menu sounds nice and being limited should be really really easy to get right....nope, Faulty Towers meets the odd shaoed swedes out of Black Adder (to be fair at least they were funny). Second attempt at a starter was at least what I ordered...but was not a terrine, it was however average. The pork OMG so bad just a big lump of awful fat, Krispy wilted Kale is that a contradiction? And anyway woody steps tend to get in your teeth. For goodness sake this was so bad it really was like being in the sketches from Faulty Towers, just missing John Cleese goose stepping across the floor saying "don't mention the war". Actually really sad as the owner must be blissfully unaware of his or her investment returns dwindling on the vine.

If you are staying in the hotel you don't need to look further provided there is something on the menu you fancy. The other popular restaurants in Worcester are quite a walk away so this scores by being on the spot. Atmosphere depends on other people and there were not many there when we ate. Service is generally good although we were not invited to try the wine - which was excellent. I thought the prices were very reasonable and we had a good evening.

Under the meticulous management of Irfan, the in-house Restaurant at The Worcester Whitehouse has developed into the sort of place where one is happy to dine. The Menu is not pretentious, the food offered reflects any seasonal variations and is cooked well and presented without undue fuss. There is a good selection of wine and service to match. We dined Thursday 28thSeptember

We had a birthday party at no 35 and it was the perfect venue. Really well made drinks and cocktails, great food and the service was excellent; nothing was too much trouble Highly recommend for popping in for a drink too

Very poor. Chewy. First time trying tonight. The pizza bases are so chewy our teeth actually hurt eating it. If it wasn't for that it would be fine but it's hard to overlook. It doesn't visually look overcooked so maybe too much flour in the dough? reheated? Not much topping on the ham and pineapple. The bacon cheese bread starter, I wouldn't say that was enough bacon to put it in the title. All in all very disappointing and not cheap. Delivery driver didn't look for our door number and was hard to communicate with.

Review: Bushwhackers Worcester I attended an over-30s house music event at Bushwhackers on Saturday and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment I walked in. The first thing that hit me was the awful smell in the bar area. It was like mouldy old feet—just disgusting. It made me wonder when the place was last properly cleaned because it really didn’t feel well-maintained. The toilets were even worse. No toilet seats, no hand dryers, and no tissues to dry your hands. I had to go to the bar to get some napkins, which isn’t ideal. The whole place just felt unclean, with cobwebs everywhere. That said, the outdoor area was lovely. Loads of disco balls, neon lights, and a nice seating area with its own bar. It’s well-designed and visually impressive, which is a real contrast to the inside. The final straw for me was the attitude of one of the bouncers. I smiled at him, and he scowled back. I’m a woman in my 50s, out supporting local DJs, and to be greeted like that was just rude and unnecessary. Between the smell, the lack of cleanliness, and the unfriendly staff, I won’t be returning to Bushwhackers. A shame, because the event itself had potential.
