Este es ahora el café Hub, por lo que realmente necesita su propia lista. . . Apertura de transición entre el cierre de FIka y el nuevo año.

It has the potential to be a great cafe. It has a good vibe and it's very cosey and comfortable, also dog friendly and the staff are always lovely. I think the food and the menu lets it down. Toasties from my experience are average and the cakes quite dry. Really need to have more options on the menu, and I don't understand why you don't have soup! Everybody likes soup and so cheap to make.

Absolutamente no bromas. .

Was in the west end of Glasgow and was in need of my daily coffee fix, and after hearing about For Fika Sake, thought I would give it a chance. Certainly a "interesting" place that's attempting to be a student/hipster hang out, while located a pretty industrial feeling unit, but something about it that I really liked. Ordered my coffee and took a seat while I waited and was ready in no time. My only criticism is I found their blend of coffee that they used to be rather bland, with almost a "Out the jar" quality about it (even though I watched them freshly prepare it from scratch). All in all, nice place nestled in a back street in Glasgow's west end, but so much better to be found in area full of great places for a good coffee.

Bit of a weird place. An office unit trying to be some chilled out alternative hang out. Odd, breathless staff who look like they're part of the Manson family. Not for me.

Had read rave reviews about the cafe, my friend phoned to book, saying we were coming to , told no need to book. So imagine our surprise when we arrived at 530 to be told kitchen closes at 4. So cake and not best black I've tried, for dinner. Not sure overall, maybe need to go back on a sunny afternoon, as not for me on this outing.

I hired Fika for an evening party. All went well. Cosy atmosphere, good sound system, helpful barista.

The best part about this cafe is the staff, they are incredibly friendly and hospitable. The atmosphere is very chilled and feel comfortable to stay and work for hours or catch up with friends. i also love the way they have things going on in the evening, so much to engage with. also has incredible coffee!!!

The supposed "chilled" atmosphere was actually just shabby (without the chique), lazy & sloppy. The tables were not clean, the upstairs seating was like an unfinished storage room. The food was quite good but the atmosphere ruined the experience. Nothing about this place apart from the name is Swedish!

We went in for lunch. The menu said they had gluten free sandwiches. After 30 minutes I asked for an update on the whereabouts of our lunch and was informed they had gone out to buy some bread. The sandwiches arrived after 45 minutes when we were just about to leave and go elsewhere. The sandwiches were very uninspiring and tasteless. The coffee was however very good but really didn't make up for the dreadful service or poor food.

A friend recommended this cafe for lunch on a Friday lunchtime. It was nice and quiet and we found a table easily. I had a Ruben ( cheese and pastrami ) and my friend had a toasted sandwich. Both came with a Glasgow salad (crisps). The Ruben was good, plenty of cheese but I would have liked more pastrami. We shared desserts; I choose a vegan chocolate and peanut butter - good but a whole one would have been too much for me. The Copenhagen bun was really, really good. Coffee was good and prices not too expensive. Staff very friendly.

I live round the corner and pop in for takeaway or a lazy hungover coffee fairly often. Very friendly and relaxed, cakes are usually good too. All the staff are lovely and friendly. They do loads of interesting events as well(from pottery making classes to boardgame nights), although I think the only way to find out what's coming up is to go in and ask or look at the notice board.

The only thing that was scandi here was the name. While a cosy place good for relaxed hangouts, there was nothing Scandinavian on the menu. Sandwiches, which are usually awesome in Sweden, were full on British, cheaply made and not tasty (chef on holiday??) Tea was ok. All in all, nonutilised potential and a wasted concept

This is something different from the chain coffee shops, great space, large and small tables, settees and a pop up shop selling great presents from India and elsewhere. Good coffee, great sandwiches and cakes.

Spent a leisurely lunch munching on shared plates of Gravadlax, Pork Belly and Venison sausages all served with well chosen sauces and veg. In short a calm and lovely space to spend a Saturday lunchtime.

This new venture has made a very good start by offering a slightly different take on coffee drinking. The young team presents a coffee and cake option which is really excellent. This is augmented by a unique offering of Scandinavian food at the weekend !...

I was visiting the Riverside museum with my four-year-old son and I just wanted somewhere to sit and have a bite to eat. The staff were very helpful and friendly I got a bacon roll which was just right and a nice cup of tea. My son had some toast and butter along with some snacks from home. The view of the tall ship is really the best part of the cafe although I was pleasantly surprised to see they do serve alcohol during the lunch service. I've included pictures of the menu to help others.

Very disappointed and confused as to when this tea room is actually open until. It seems to be whatever mood they’re in. When you Google it says they close at 5:30 on a Thursday and on trip advisor, open until 6:30 on Thursdays. I was with 1 friend and along with 6 other possible customers we proceeded up the stairs at 5:05 to be told they were closing early today? Was it just that day or in general when open until 5:30 they close at 5:05? We said we only wanted a cup of tea no food and would be done by 5:30 but not interested. If you go into a shop or supermarket that closes at 5:30 they are open to 5:30 not 5:05 very unusual managing of a business.

A great location and full of goodies you would not find at weight watchers! Went for two lattes with sides of vic sponge and a Bakewell tart. Thought the tart was a little too wet. Coffees were fine, but what makes me quite cross is when you get dirty cutlery. Photo attached. The detail separates the amateurs from the professionals.

I have got to be totally honest here. The staff were absolutely fantastic 11/10 but the food was inedible. I mean really bad. The chicken burger although it was very big....was bad. Funny texture.....one of the worst I've had anywhere. The curry was very bland and watery. The steak pie thing was.....I actually doesn't know what to say......I'll stick to real...bad. Absolutely go for the alcohol as they do good offers and it's cheap. The staff honestly just couldn't have been better. Also brilliant with dogs. For food I just couldn't ever recommend.....so so soooooo unfortunate :( x
