Visit coffee shops and cafe's most weeks and this little gem is right at the top, always very friendly service and food is always fresh and very inexpensive, keep up the good work.

I went to the cafe to support them today, the first time for me since OWL cafe that used to be there closed down. Staff were very friendly and helpful but sadly the food was 3 out of 10. The chips were oven chips, dry and hard, and there were lots of small, hard inedible pieces mixed in. The salad was dried out as if it was prepared hours before, and the worst thing, there were two medium sized spinach leaves, both had large amounts of black on. Could not eat these. The mozzarella tart was nice but the balsamic dressing was a bit thick. I know the cooks are learning, but there should be some sort of quality control before the food leaves the kitchen. For cold drinks, a low choice of fizzy drinks. No Diet Coke on the menu. This experience has made me not want to go back for food.

Really nice welcome and good to be able to sit outside in sunshine. Good menu and a tantalising OAP option that's a snip! Good quality, home baking style, and very inexpensive. I called in today (7th September) for a coffee after shopping in Sawston. The café itself is lovely and it is nice to be able to sit outside. However, the lady who served me was rather offhand, definitely not service with a smile, and no please or thank you. I haven't been to a café for ages and felt quite deflated at the lack of friendliness. I think I will go into one of the other two cafes in Sawston next time where they do seem pleased to see you.

We had the most amazing takeaway afternoon tea last week. It far exceeded our expectations! We had this lovely big cake box with a lovely ribbon then inside everything is very well presented - all the cakes are so exquisite and finished off so perfectly, with lots of little touches like a pretty little paper bag to hold the tea bags, beautiful lining paper in the box and each cake held on its own little piece of card. Even heart shaped serviettes! A lot of effort had gone into the finishing touches. The highlight of course was the eating! The sandwiches were delish and "posh" - very neat and no crusts! The cakes I think we were all home baked and to a very high standard. Taste, texture, and the toppings were so very lovely. I clearly love my food but it was an effort to finish everything so some had to be saved for later. We all absolutely loved it! Well done Katie and Ange! Sensational.! And very good value for money.

Order a custom cooked breakfast, a wholesome lunch, or just a coffee & cake. This is a big, airy cafe, with some outside seating. Staff are friendly & helpful, and prices & portions are very good.

Very reasonable prices, tasty home cooked food & cakes served with a smile, loads of space for meeting up with friends. And there's a well thought out indoor play area to keep the kiddies happy. And free useable wifi! Parking at the back too. Thoroughly recommend.

Footprints has a genuine 'heart of the community' feel to it. The food is very reasonably priced, but it is the friendly service that really makes your visit there so rewarding.

Reasonably priced and accessible for all this cafe is a good place to meet people over a meal or coffee.
