Place was closed even though it should be open to 8 p.m. :(

Excellent Thai food esp if you're hungry...choose the cantok shared menu.. the seafood one is fantastic. Pity it is now closed permanently, after 10 years of hosting diners. Hopefully the venue will reopen under a new umbrella.

Had an amazing outdoor dining experience even though there was a brief bout of rain. The food was the best Thai style I've had we ordered a 77b. sharing plate for me and the missus. I'm not usually a pad thai fan but the prawn pad thai was enough to make me a convert. I grew up in land locked state in the US and the fish cakes were enough to make me regret growing up in such a locale. The curry was more my norm and was still top notch that I was shaking and scraping the bowl for every drop. Then there was a the stir fry vegetables, these actually captured the conversation of the table. One of the kids wanted the broth so much we ended up just pouring it in a water glass so she could drink it. There was such an umami sensation with these vegetables I could have been happy with just a plateful of these. The service was quick, courteous and professional. We loved the outdoor setting with two small children who were able to also enjoy their scrumptious food in peace and comfort.

Great local Thai 'pub'. Not much competition admittedly but they're not complacent. Food is good, beer is decent. The locals are lucky to have this place

We went to No 77 with our children to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. Our two pretty fussy children scoffed the chicken satay lollipops, rice and cucumber dishes! Jess was a fab with her service and we will definitely be returning.

Very quiet at lunchtime, but excellent food. We chose from the Kantok (set meal) selection and were served good sized tasty portions .Massaman curry was excellent, as was the pork and ginger,with both dishes containing an appreciable amount of veg. Can't wait to go back. If you can, please pay in cash as this benefits the restaurant.

Very quiet on a Sunday afternoon but the food was absolutely amazing coupled with good service. Definitely worth a visit if you like good quality Thai food. 👌

Me and my family had a fabulous roast dinner at No 77, meat options, portion sizes and presentation great!, with children's roasts free with two adult meals :) taste was delish!! and great value for money. I personally liked that the vegetable portions were separate, allowing my children to select what they wanted on their plate :) staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and venue was calm and cosy with ample parking spaces. Perfect for a Sunday roast. Highly recommended and will defiantly be returning :) Thankyou 77!

We had the sharing plates to taste a bit of everything, and it was all very tasty (especially the massaman), although the price was slightly above average. Friendly (and quick) service but a bit impatient in pushing us to order when it was still too early, and we didn't finish our pre-dinner drinks

Very nice resturant with reasonable price. The seating is comfortable for big groups and it is kinda pub/resturant environment.

Was very impressed by this out of the way restaurant/pub. I had the Pork Pad Tai with a couple Singha Beer with some homemade Duck Spring Rolls. Firstly everything is made from scratch. Fresh and flavorful and absolutely DELISH! Great old pub feel as well. The bar maid, Hayley, was wonderful and finished off with fried banana with fresh ice cream!

First time here and loved it! Was recommended by a friend. We shared veggie spring rolls and sweetcorn cakes to start, then I had king prawn choo chee and it was absolutely delicious! Every mouthful was wonderful. We shared a bottle of wine (also great) and final bill was less than £70, very reasonable for the quality and given the 2 courses each and wine. Am sure to return!

My other half and I ordered for the first time late Monday. The staff were happy to go ahead, and the food was UNREAL! We eat out a lot and this food was up there with the best! Full of flavour and well worth the money. Little hidden gem!

Lovely little pub, but calling the food Thai food is frankly borerline false advertising. I had the "thai" salad which had no balance of flavours at all - the dressing was merely salty. The staff however were very nice ... I'd go back for a drink but would skip the food

Went on date night. Lovely food. It's very casual and we felt over-dressed, so go cas.

Booked last minute for 3 of us but early in the evening, so getting a table was no problem. The staff are friendly and the food was all really lovely. Just lost one star as there seemed to be a slight communication issue between waitress and kitchen. There was an issue with our starter that needed to go back to the kitchen, and the table in front had a similar issue with their main, that had to go back. So once that minor issue is resolved, it would be full stars, as the food was very yummy and everyone was very nice.

This must be one of our most favourite takeaway options around Cambourne. We order food here semi regularly, usually on weekends and were never disappointed. We like the options for 2 people sharing and everything we tried so far tasted amazing and food was always prepared on time. We'll keep coming back.

We found this restaurant on a country drive looking for somewhere for lunch. Excellent service and the food was really good. There was a takeover on the day we went so the Thai menu wasn't available. Vegetarian Sunday roast was very good. I will definitely return to try the Thai. Really cool decor with cinema seats.

Great food and surroundings. Food a little over priced, but nothing more than what they would of received in a tip. Definitely visit again soon.

Visited here and had couples meal with friends. Food was great and staff were nice. Only reason this isn't a 5 star was that service for drinks took a while in between dishes.

Lovely food, great staff but it was uncomfortable due to heating issues, with central heating and fire place. Shame really, but best in area by miles. Reason for 3 stars I dined there twice as first night was cold due to central heating, so returned hoping for a cosy night and suggested a fireplace table, but the fireplace was out of order due to smoke issues.

Enjoyed a fabulous family meal this evening. The food was very tasty, high quality and perfect for our group consisting of meat eaters, vegetarians and a vegan. Excellent and friendly service in a lovely environment.

They were clearly overbooked and understaffed. Having waited over an hour for our mains, I approached the bar to at least get some drinks, when I was told that they would come over to take our order. After half an hour, with still no service, we asked the passing waitress if she could take our order and was rudely told that she was busy and that we were in a queue. Having waited an hour and forty five minutes at this point, we decided to leave as it was obvious that we were unlikely to be served (having seen that other tables that came in after us were being served).

Lovely Thai style pub or pub style Thai restaurant?? Either way, the food was very good, loved that they have their own brew, cocktails you don't normally find around many places, and their own style to their curry dishes. The place was quiet but very well kept and the staff were very friendly. Definitely putting this one on my little list of places off the beaten path to come back too.

We stopped at No. 77 on a drive from Nottinghamshire to London for dinner. First the good points. Service was excellent and the interior is nice. Now the issues. Food was generally okay but I got the impression it was adjusted for a Western palate. Thai Green Curry tasted too sweet and was a little watery. Massaman curry lacked the intense flavour and peanutty hit that it ought to have - I have cooked more authentic Massaman curry from SimplyCook recipe boxes. Tom Yum soup was excellent according to the person in our group who ordered it. Pad See Ew dish had the wrong type of noodle, it should have had a flat rice noodle instead of the yellow thin egg noodles that were served, and had the slightly too salty mouth feel of a dish that had too much mono sodium glutamate added to enhance the flavour. Starters were okay, but those are difficult to get wrong. The plate and knife choice don’t work well, the heavy knife handle has a tendency to make the knife slip off the edge of the plate and into the food on the plate. Stall door in the men’s bathroom was damaged and the door does not close properly. There is a warning sign that the door may stick if pushed to fully closed. There’s a hole in the door where the handle should be and as the door cannot be closed fully one can be seen from outside when sitting on the toilet. The door needs to be taken off its hinges and sanded down so that it fits - this should take a skilled handyman less than a day to fix and should be a top priority to protect the dignity of customers.

I had heard that this restaurant was one of the best in Cambridgeshire for authentic Thai food yet sadly for me it did not live up to my expectations. My meal was tasteless and very very salty. It was awful. Having said that though my friends who ordered different meals loved theirs. I can only think that this restaurant must cater for the 'British' palette just like some Indian restaurants do (high in fat, sugar and salt and less flavour). I have been lucky enough to travel to Thailand many times plus I have a lot of Thai friends who love to cook. So I am able to genuinely compare. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has a nice ambiance so this is a plus.

Best Thai in the area, I can't really fault this place. Food has been spot on everytime, fast service. It is however priced slightly higher than others, but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth spending a couple of extra quids !

Lovely Thai food and a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is low lit and cosy, and in the winter they have an open fire. The food is tasty and filling, and the service is friendly. They also do take out which is just as good as eating in.

The food is really good, quick service

Visited here the other day to try sitting in rather than the take away which wasn't very good last time. This time, the main course (green curry) was really delicious - lots of prawns, full of flavour and perfect spice. But the starter was really average. I had the calamari, which was in such a thick batter that you had to cut half of it away. It was tasteless, greasy, and just really low quality. This was the same with the takeaway version (prawns and calamari) but I thought that might just have been due to the traveling conditions. Friendly staff and quick service, but not as good as I thought it would be. I'd definitely recommend the curries, but possibly not for the starters.

Authentic Thai, so don't expect it to be "Britishified". Brilliant food!
