Food Lands in Liverpool

The staff in this takeaway are so rude! We came down to Liverpool for the evening and didn’t even go on a night out so can’t use the fact I was ‘drunk’ refused to give me half my order because they said I didn’t pay for it even though it was on melt receipt, was extremely rude to my partner because he simply asked for curry sauce that they left out, DO NOT EVER go to this takeaway they are a joke! Chips - cold Curry sauce ( when we eventually got it ) tasted more like jam it was rancid Honestly DO NOT BOTHER! Disgusting food and disgusting staff that work there

Low qaulity meat, dodgy stomach afterwards

my garlic bread had a piece of metal wire in it and was no where near worth £7.50.

Awesome, the pizza was huge and I couldn't finish it 😂 price is great and the taste was awesome too .

We placed order for 2 chicken salad kebabs . Waited over 40 minutes in a queue of only 4 people..When we asked where our order was he had given it away to another customer so we asked for a refund. He became very rood and unapologetic When I got home and checked my bank account he had taken even more money from my account . I'm in contact with my bank to recover my money. Absolutely discusting service.I Dread to think that they could easily be over charging customers that are intoxicated and they would not even notice

An insult to Turkish food, Stevie Wonder could have made a better kebab

Bbq chicken pizza has to be the best pizza I have ever had. Great food. Very clean.

Shish kebab is delicious, but chips is a big let down

Nice little place for when you want a quick kebab! Very good price, cheaper than some of the surrounding places. Friendly staff too. Hours may be wrong though as it was closed on a Sunday at 9pm 13/8/23, that was rather disappointing.

basically robbing everyone of change! eg £6.70 you get the £3 but not the 30p. Person after person! and when challenged your told you cant have it.

Absolutely delicious food! We had a chicken shawarma and chips with spicy chilli sauce and a pizza. The man who worked there was absolutely amazing, such a lovely man!

Overcooked chicken kebabs really burnt because he got distracted with other customers and left mine for ever ..mate employ more staff and very watery sauce also the oil was smoking black smokes and still using the oil ..also always forgets to either give you the sauce avoid avoid not professional at all

I ordered donner meat and chips and a pizza the donner meat is the worst I ever ate very creasy soggy and watery the sauce is tastless the pizza was super greasy I couldn't eat it even the chips tasted like cooked in a burnt oil as well ...I will never go back again

The best kebab shop .mix kebab with crispy cheese and chips bbq chicken pizza was excellent food exactly recommend for all people visit Liverpool .

Sorry I can't justify paying £8 for a kebab which is advisertised with nan and salad. It very cheeky to sell with 15p wrap instead. No wonder its so bulked up with salad. Food is ok but wished I never bothered with this place.

Cheesy chips had perfectly melted cheese distributed throughout the chips. Pizza al funghi had excellent tomato sauce and a great coverage of cheese and sliced mushrooms. The base was also really nice. Food was hot, service was fast, 10/10

We ordered a kebab meat and chips. The meat was over cooked and they forgot to give us chilli sauce which we ordered. Would recommend going to the kebab shop around the corner!

Darn excellent café in the vibrating heart of Liverpool. A very nice neat place to have breakfast, lunch at and the staff is spot on with the service and the food is amazing. You have to try this place out.

Small, cosy and unique little cafe. Good service and good, interestingly presented food. I ordered a simple breakfast of cheese on toast and tea - the toast was thick, the cheese topping was generous and flavourful. Delicious! It was served quickly and arrived hot.

Well, finished my course C down Stanley St today. Been in the City Café most visits. It is an excellent opportunity eatery, food always freshly cooked and hot drinks you can actually taste. Staff are warm and friendly. Overall, 10/10.

Dropped in here mid-morning. Nice, uncomplicated menu and chose the all day veggie breakfast (but hold that tomato!). Delicious, nice, friendly Scouse service (ahem, I'm not from these parts!) and reasonable prices. Just looked on map and never knew it was so close to the Cavern Club. Plan to return if ever in Liverpool again.

Well there are cafes and then there is City Cafe. Give it a go. You won't regret it. I pop in regular during work. Great brekkies, friendly staff. Lovely artwork to gaze it on the wall

Decided to grab a bite to eat before heading home and, by pure chance spotted the City Cafe; no regrets! Excellent "Weekend Special" Breakfast plus filter coffee (My better half had tea with hers). Loved the art work on the walls - we'll be calling in again for sure!

Found this little cafe by chance, i had the all day breakfast, though the special of the day was "Scouse" which I love n looked yummy. Gorgeous food, great price and definitely worth going x

I love this place. Next to Voodoo in Stanley Street. It serves really excellent food at unexpectedly good prices. The walls on both sides are hand painted murals, sofas by windows. All together well worth visiting.

Been here twice. Interesting decor - lively and keeps you from any boredom whilst waiting for food. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Wholemeal toast and tea for brekkie was excellent - definitely visit again - and let me charge my flat phone without fuss!
