Extremely tasty pizza and a lovely staff! I’ve never been disappointed from this place and it’s our ultimate cheat day treat. 🔝

The pizzas arrived on time but have to say had better fron Asda, not much taste and warm not hot, buffalo wings not spicy and garlic 4 cheese sticks tasteless. Sorry but not again.

Wouldn’t recommend items missing when delivered all food was cold waited 1hr 30 mins pizza burnt and rock hard was told I was getting refund 2 weeks ago I’m still waiting.

Woman was sitting there watching TikTok while we were waiting to order for 20 minutes and proceeds to eat the cheese with a spoon had about 3 mouthfuls and put the spoon back in. DISCRACEFUL every time we asked politely to order she just ignored us we didn’t even get are food an all we wanted was a small pizza an hash browns absolute disgrace

I like the person who delivered the pizza in the red car..He was so humble and delivered on time..Fantastic serve and also the taste are too yummy 😋❤️

The pizza just tastes so different than regular places here. Papa johns reminds me of home. If you want to have a pizza that tastes authentic and delicious, you need to come here and order xx

Ordered £46 of pizza tonight it came, and looked OK but it was like chewing rubber, normally go to domino's but wanted to try somewhere different! And omg I'd never order from here again! Domino's is still the vest by far

Freezing cold nuggets Cardboard tots Vile pizza 2 drinks and a bottle of Fanta £40 absolute rip off the whole thing wasn’t edible went in the bin after a slice of pizza please don’t go here your getting ripped off

Lack of topping, full of oil - awful quality

Ordered two thin crust pizzas. Got two mediums - all the topping was in the middle. Phoned as soon as we opened them to be told that was the base you get with the offer. Fobbed off. First and last time we will order from this store. No problems previously from the city centre location.

THE WORST. Repeatedly made orders and they’ve been cancelled, been late, incorrect, cold or the boxes have been wet!! Was promised a refund for an order and it took me and my partner going into the shop 4 times and about 10 phone calls over about 8 weeks to get this refund. Inexcusable.

Give them 0 stars if I could, Use to love getting Papa Jones pizzas, but have ordered from there twice in the last month, 1st time was "okey" thought it was fluke, ordered again today, and pizza was luke warm, not cooked to the standard I'd expect. Friends wanted it, gave them a 3rd chance, waited 50 mins, called said would be another 15 mins, been over 2 hours since orginally ordered.

I ordered from here 2 days ago via the website I waited 40 minutes and then decided to phone the restaurant to see how long it would be. The man in the shop gave me every excuse under the sun one of which included the driver had had a crash with my food in the car. He promised me he would make me a new order and begin it right away he also promised next time I ordered he will give me an XL pizza for the inconvenience I did think to myself why do I have to wait until next time for the XL pizza but I wasn’t bothered about that or receiving a pizza for free I just wanted my order what I had paid for. I wanted to believe everything he had told me so I waited another hour for my food so by now I had nearly placed the original order 2 hours ago. I phoned the shop back up and asked for a refund and asked if my food was even on its way he told me it wasn’t and he will request a refund back to me he told me he had done it but the next minute he’s telling me to phone up for it tomorrow at 3pm I knew he had no intentions of giving me my money back. I phoned up the next day and it was the same man and once again I had every excuse under the sun for why I can’t have a refund he said he has to speak to the franchise and he will phone me back in 10 minutes low and behold I received no phone call from him. I got in touch with my bank and they have refunded me the money already after explaining the situation. So basically this restaurant are more then happy to rob you and tell you lie after lie after lie please do not order from here he was quite happy to rob nearly £30 off me with no intentions of sending any food to my door!! The lies this man told we’re laughable!! I have emailed Papa Johns head office to let them know makes me sick how he thinks it’s ok to rob money off people!!!

I placed an order for pizza delivery from the Deysbrook, West Derby branch using the app. Order acknowledged at 16.02 and according to all it was being prepared. I checked progress and after an hour it read ‘cutting and checking’I thought oh well they must be busy and waited. On checking again it still had cutting and checking in progress which continued for the next 2-3 hours. Despite numerous attempts of ringing store direct it told me to do when trying to contact customer services (awful service!!) nobody picked up the phone. I did not have transport and was looking after my grandson so was in able to walk the distance to see what was going on. I ended up ordering from a different pizza company which came in 15 minutes of ordering and was delicious. When my husband finished work we drove to the place where one young man was looking stressed told me he’d been there on his own and the app wasn’t working properly. I felt very sorry for him being left in this position.Very por management. He assured me he’d ask his boss to refund as I had not received order. The next day I checked banking app and the payment had changed from ‘pending transaction’ to payment taken!!! I’m so angry with disgusting non existent customer service. Absolute robbery. I’ve filled in their on line complaint where it says it will take 5 days to respond! Disgusting! Will never use them again!

Went to take a bite of the pizza and was met with a disgusting taste and had to spit it out. Taking a look at the pizza the cheese was definitely mouldy. Absolutely disgusting.

I ordered a pizza from here at 4.30pm. Got a phone call right after I ordered saying it would be delayed because the driver had crashed. Was told pizza would arrive by 6pm. It hadn't arrived by 6.30pm so I phoned again. Got told it was on its way. It still hadn't arrived by 7pm. I ended up driving to the Papa John's premises to collect the pizza myself. When I arrived, there were plenty of drivers coming out on bikes delivering pizzas. Didn't get an apology or anything. Awful experience. Don't order from here guys.

Don't order from here. Ever. You get charged and the food doesn't turn up. How they are able to stay open is beyond me.

TERRIBLE! Waited almost 2 hours, were told lie after lie, we cancelled it, it turned up, we turned them away, went to Domino's, waited under 20 minutes. Disgraceful from Papa John's, NEVER AGAIN!

Pizza never turned up. After three hours we drove to the store to be told there had been a power cut. Despite speaking to them on the phone a number of times before this and there being no mention of it. Was promised a refund yet after two weeks and many phone calls later this still hasn’t been the case. Will be visiting the store shortly to demand my money back. Disgrace Avoid at all costs.

Of you want stone cold pizza 3 hours after you order it, this is your place. Used to be a decent place when it opened.

Normally excellent service and ordered from frequently as the lad who only eats nuggets or pizza only likes here. Ordered at 19:41 delivered 2 hours later asked the delivery fella why the delay and gets told new manager. Spent 40 mins on phone trying to get through and no answer at all just an automated message. Then when it did arrive it was dry from sitting under the heatlamp for obviously over an hour.

All pizzas and sides are amazing, and nice friendly driver. Highly recommend.

Ordered pizzas for the first time from here after the Champions League final and got phone call saying they cannot deliver and do I want the order tomorrow, obviously this was a stupid suggestion and I requested a refund. I'm still waiting over a week later for the refund.

Food is always good and delivered on time

Very disappointed waited half an hour in the shop for Chicken vermicelli and a small chips, it gets worse chips was soft and oilly and chicken was salty and tasteless I can only taste salt, never go there again

Very nice pizza, full of flavour with a great choice of toppings. I only live half a mile from the shop but my pizza always arrives just warm, never hot, hence the 4 stars.

it is great! when that time that papa John wasn't open yet. I have to buy pizza on Tesco every Friday Night because I love pizza. But when it opens. I went there every single Friday. I went there and order some Great pizza! the staff remember me as a Friday buyers. I am so 😊 thx

Pizza received had missing topping ( Barbecue Drizzle ) pizza was warm and dry slightly over cooked. when I spoke with a member of staff for the pizza to be remade .. she couldn’t find my order and I had to repeatedly tell her my address. she informed me a new pizza would be 50 minutes to an hour because the lack of delivery drivers. she also explained the reason why the pizza would be dry is because it’s a thin and crispy base. I have ordered from this store before and never had a problem until now even the customer service in the past has been brilliant but on this occasion it fell short. next time I want a pizza I will consider other local pizzerias before this papa johns store not because of the mistake with the pizza but because of the poor customer service I received. Best place ever to order a pizza!! They have a sauce now called Garlic & Herbs that is amazing. The customer service representative Gabor is very polite, respectful and very helpful on taking care of every questions we had. He takes the experience of ordering pizza there to another level. We have been amazed by the delivery driver Bruce that have been very professional, on time, allways with a positive smile and attitude. Extraordinary experience and product.

Fresh pizza I've ever had. Look as amazing as they do in the adverts. Also vegan options for myself who is lactose intolerant and a vegetarian.

Did a walk in order today, got a pizza with extras added and a few sides and desserts. Despite it being payday Friday on a bank holiday weekend and the staff being obviously busy, our service couldn't have been better, food took about 10/15 mins to make fresh and a member of staff apologised for the wait, told her she didn't have to apologise, we were watching the food get made so the wait was nothing. Great food, would definitely go again!

First time going to a Papa John's, and it was so nice. All the staff were so friendly and nice, the food was incredible and considering everything was made fresh the wait wasn't even that long. Deffo going to go again and would deffo recommend.
