Food okay, which the food IMO should be higher than 1 star, but unfortunately the reason it's a 1 star is that with some staff members and not all, need good customer service training. At one time a customer was kept waiting for under 10 minutes while staff were chatting among themselves, until finally one spoken to the costumer to take his order. And another time one other customer simply asked if he could not have his takeaway bag tied in a knot, which with this takeaway they usually do tie takeaway bags in a knot, but one staff member abruptly spoke to this costumer in a rude and disrespectful manner without a care.

Went here for a late night munch. I ordered a cheese burger meal for a fiver. I got what I paid for. The burger was your standard cheap burger but nothing to complain about. The chilli sauce was very spicy but the garlic had no taste to it. I asked for chilli garlic on my meal but I didn’t get any on my chips which was a bit upsetting. My friend had ordered a chicken burger which he gave a 2/10. He said the chicken wasn’t chicken. And to be fair it didn’t look like chicken. If you’re looking for a late night meal for cheap I recommend this place. I would eat here again.

I frequently get a burger at Munchies, and I always buy it to go. However, today I was really dissatisfied with the food because I had ordered special sauce to go inside the burger and on top of the fries. The fact that there was a single hair and no sauces shocked me. I was so disgusted by the hair strand that I threw away my food and questioned my decision to come! I didn't want to leave a bad review, but the previous time I placed an order, I too had to wait for about an hour. If it was packed, I could’ve understood but it wasn’t! I'm hoping the management will read the review and encourage others to make some improvements. It would also be fantastic if the team members started wearing beards or hair bouffants and took extra care when giving orders.

Ordered waited an hour after the delivery time and then they cancelled our order and refused to answer any questions. Don’t order from this place it’s a scam.

NEEDS CLOSING. This place is awful the only good thing were the chips and that’s at a STRETCH. I ordered chicken and chips THE CHICKEN WAS PINK it almost looked alive food inspectors need to come here. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Given up on this takeaway. We haven't had one order correct for the last 6 or so orders (at this point it's our own fault for expecting our whole order to actually arrive). Everyone else's has come but one meal, rang, got told to speak to the driver. Driver snapped saying he's at a bus stop and hung up.... No meal. So unless you want half your food not to turn up or rude service I'd go to McDonald.

I ordered a donner deal. I repeated my order twice to make sure I have the right sauces on the donner. I was fasting all day waited for my Iftaar food. I asked Abdul Rahman (an arrogant guy) to put normal chilli sauce and Mayonnaise. When I came home and opened the box, it was all chilli sauce on my donner. I will give 2/10.

There is a guy his name Mo around 13 years old, he made my pizzas as I’m a regular customer and only live around the corner I didn’t like the way he made it so I asked for a refund and he said he’s gonna cut 4£ off if he refunds me which is ridiculous. When I got home I checked the other pizza which was burnt I went back to the shop showing him his pizza and to do another one and another guy jumped with beard and red t-shirt (it seems he’s the guy who does the dough in the kitchen) he said it’s fine and no wrong with it!!!! it was obvious. Mo’s friends (they were Yemni one of them with black curly hair they were inside the shop and Mo gave them an eye gesture to make troubles with me. They were so rude but I kept calm. The worst customer service ever I won’t go there anymore.

Went to Muchies tonight after a long day out of town since it was the only place open. Ordered pizza for my misses and nuggets and chips for myself. Waited ages for tge nuggets and chips 2 people who had ordered chicken burgers and fries after me got their food before me and I was left waiting. Pizza was put in front of me on the counter and was told tge rest would be soon. I'd say I waited 10 mins and cold feel the pizza going cold. Got my food and went home which is a 4 min drive the chips were soggy as can be. I thought they would at least be fresh as I waited so long. Won't be going back.

Proper scruffs these. Accept ya order and then amend it to finishing time. Every time I ring they said driver was on way. I live a 10 min drive away. Said he sat outside but I wasn’t there. The place is very dirty, I saw the mice inside me, a large rat looking disgusted before you ask for food, check the place with your eyes. It is a source of diseases. I do not advise it.

Never have I ever been so disgusted in my life! Come on munchies get your act together! I've had such a rough day at work and all I wanted was a simple meal. BUT INSTEAD I GET A PLATE FULL OF MESS! I asked for a chocolate milkshake and they gave me strawberry. That wasn't all I also brought a chicken burger but when it all got here there was no chicken burger just a bowl of mixed salad. Horrible service! The people who severed me called me obese and told me to eat some vegetables. I ordered a chicken burger and found multiple hairs in it. There was barely any chicken but just a load of batter. They also added salad when I told them no salad! What would've happened if I were allergic to the salad? The bread also had green spots which I'm guessing it's mould. Overall, food was disgusting. Won't ever visit again!

Wish it could be 0 stars. Can’t even review the food because it never showed up. Spent £20 on a takeaway and waited for over an hour before calling munchies. Then spent another hour going back and forth with them. The person we spoke to was so rude and just kept saying ‘5 minutes’ every time we called. The final time we asked for a refund as our food clearly wasn’t coming and he told us we had to talk to deliveroo, why would we need to when munchies use their own delivery person? Deliveroo are never any help either. So whose fault is it, and who has my money without providing me what I paid for? Save yourself the money. Don’t use munchies or deliveroo as you’ll end up out of pocket and with nothing to show for it. Absolute scam.

Absolutely horrible, the order took over 2 hours to be delivered! They didn’t even apologise for it, and the food it cold. We called them about 5 times and they kept saying 10 minutes EVERYTIME.

Awful! If you want to stay up all night waiting for your food to arrive, and be hung up on when you ask where your order is after it apparently left the shop 45 minutes earlier, this is the place! You can look forward to going to bed hungry and out of pocket. Enjoy.

Ordered on deliveroo and was out for delivery, nothing came so called the restaurant once for them to say I've been calling multiple times giving them different phone numbers, I was either drunk or on drugs and I was wasting the drivers time. I had no call or text from the restaurant or deliveroo regarding this order, no wonder, the place has its own delivery drivers..... Complete unprofessionalism from the restaurant. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common issue, what a terrible business. Do not order from this place.

Ordered the cheesecake from munchies and I have to say it was delightful, the ratio of biscuit to cheese was beyond perfect and I’m very particular about my ratios. The tomato base of the pizza went perfectly with my cat bowl of water, a perfect combo!!! A beautiful Wednesday night supper fine dining and drinking wine:))) munchies has my heart and soul and I will now convert to munchies religion and start a cult, anyone welcome to join I LOVE MUCHIES AND I WILL DIE FOR MUCHIES( also goes perfect with soy sauce)

Staff were rude. Ordered via Deliveroo, never got my order, they claimed it had been delivered and blatantly lied and said i had come outside and given my name to collect my food. Was not true, hung up the phone when I called to complain that I hadn’t received my food, will never order again.

Disgrace, both the restaurant and the service from deliveroo, order £30 worth of food and it never arrived, they lied and said they had called me when they had not and then seemingly delivered it to a stranger. Refused a refund as I did not claim straightaway and deliveroo denied responsibility too as the driver is not affiliated for them. Don't waste your time, don't order here and don't order from deliveroo.

Ordered £30 worth of food from here that never arrived. They refused a refund saying I should have claimed in two days. On the night I called them numerous times and it never arrived. They then went on to lie to the delivery service saying they had called me when they had not called a single time, and also reported it as delivered when it had not been. Lying money grabbers, don’t waste time or money. When I called the phone connection was horrific and they were completely disinterested, telling me it would be another 10 minutes about 3 times. I wouldn’t use Deliveroo either as they have not helped to resolve this situation at all and also won’t refund me. Hopefully the place closes 👍

I don't recommend any body to order from this place. They give you the wrong order and when you question them about it...they turn extremely rude and nasty and don't hesitate to use vile language in front of minors. Customer service is ridiculously poor and not to mention the quality of the food...worse place in LIVERPOOL

Food came at half 6 absolutely freezing cold , forgot our drinks for the second time had to run out after the driver for our drinks, called them to say the food was freezing and I would like a refund was told would be back with the refund in half a hour , one hour passed called them back up and was told the manager said “there is no such thing as freezing cold food” and was told the manager was gonna ring me , still no phone call at 10:45pm called them back the member of staff was very rude , said I was wasting his time bare in mind I’ve been waiting for a phone call back from manager since half 6 , and he said in order to get the refund he needs the cans and all the food back from 5 hours ago absolutely DISCUSTING customer service wouldn’t even waste your time and money , told him to keep his £10 , wouldn’t even rate it 1 star , also ignoring phone calls and putting the phone down when I was ringing to enquire about phone call back ; also food chips were like bricks nearly snapped my teeth and found a hair in the kebab

I never received my order, I have been charged for it and not been given a refund, it’s been 2 weeks now. They kept putting the phone down on me. I can not even contact just eat about it all I can do is leave a bad review. It’s ridiculous. The staff are all rude and it’s disgusting how they take money of people and not give it them back.

It took well over an hour for the food to arrive even though I ordered the food at a non-desirable hour. It was meant to arrive at 3am and didn’t arrive till well after 4am even thought it claimed to take less than 20 minutes to arrive. I called multiple times and they kept saying it would arrive within 10 minutes even thought it wouldn’t. Definitely wouldn’t order for delivery time reasons.

Ordered fish and chips. The fish was really overcooked and the batter was like what you'd get on fried chicken from KFC. The chips were also covered in chilli salt which just doesn't work with fish... Curry sauce was decent enough, though.

The 1 star is brutal but deserved. I ordered 2 meals for myself and my girlfriend and only 1 was delivered. I rang to chase the missing items from the delivery and was greeted by what I think is the some of the worst customer service I've ever had... this guy was just plain rude! When asking my order details he was impatient and abrupt. I tried to tell him what the problem was and he cut me short by telling me my order would be with me in 15 minutes which showed he wasn't listening to me and was just lying about the status of my order. When I managed to get the message across he told me the remainder of my order would be delivered shortly. I had to wait 20 minutes for the 2nd meal in the end. The food wasn't great either, I had the 6 piece chicken meal and the pieces were very small off the bone. The coating was greasy and the chicken very salty. Chips were also very soft. I would not usually bother writing reviews of small takeaway food establishments as let's face it when you've had a few to drink reviews of where you might be getting your midnight meal from are not on top of the agenda. This place however made me want to write the review purely for the rude and care free customer service I received. So if you do happen to give the this review a look before you make an order in a drunken food craving state I'd advise avoiding this establishment!

Ordered a chicken and sweet corn pizza the pizza had chicken tikka on, which we didn’t order,otherwise we would’ve ordered spicy pizza. The chicken was pink and very dry. Rang up to see if they could at least give us a refund, and the shift manager was quite volatile. No exchange or refund offered because we had the food. Very disappointed would not order again. Really upset!!! WOULD 13/10 NOT RECOMMEND!!! AVOID!!! Not even option for 0 starts ew

Rude staff. Never provided my sauce on two occasions and the pizza was vile. Reported them to uber eats. Sauce on my receipt and charged but said I never paid.

One of the worst places I've ever had the displeasure of ordering from. The food took over two hours to come, despite the person on the phone saying "Be there in 15 minutes". Naturally, after waiting two hours, the food was completely cold once it got here and by the time it did we weren't even in the mood for it. Believe all the reviews you read about this place - it's awful.
