Ordered for the first time for Mothers Day, the food was amazing and we all thoroughly enjoyed. Doopstep delivery during these times to stay safe. The staff provided really informative friendly customer service when ordering. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend to everyone!

I regularly get food from Food Emporium and have never been disappointed. The range of food on offer is vast and everything always tastes great and just means you want to try everything. The service is brilliant and they are always available when we want to make an order and we order in advance to eat later in the evening with full heating instructions provided making it so much simpler. Unlike most Asian restaurants and takeaways the food is never swimming in oil and full of fat which is another reason we continue to order from Food Emporium. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to make my next order.

An event at Kirkwood Hospice had many stalls and Food Emporium was one of them. The food smelled and looked home cooked so I thought I’d try it out. Nothing could be simpler as I took the frozen food home with me and tried it out after a busy day Christmas shopping.

I have called the food "outstanding" because that is precisely what it does- the quallity and flavour stands out as being well above what you might expect from even the best Indian dine-in restaurants, but delivered to your door, frozen. We have tried most of their dishes, and apart from being very good value, they all heat up very nicely (don't microwave everythingm some things need heating in the oven, obviously and taste fresher than most meals I have had prepared to order in restaurants and take-aways. All-in-all, it is great value and a wonderful concept in Indian dining!

What a great concept - takeaway food delivered frozen - ready to reheat when you need it... Amazingly flavoursome & the staff are very accommodating... You might look at the menu and think there's not much choice but those that are available are definitely worth a go.... we did the Groupon offer & so ordered main dishes & sides... sundries are a bit pricey (rice etc) but probably on a par with takeaway prices (we cheated & bought "takeaway" rice from the supermarket (sorry Food Emporium 🤨).... Definitely will use this service again 👌

Cannot recommend Food Emporium enough. The food and service is excellent. The appetisers and curries are very tasty and not greasy. Good value for money. Easy to heat up and eat when you are ready.

Saw these guys up morley town centre on st Georges day - as vegetarians we are always looking for something new to try - realised the food comes frozen and you just reheat so went for all vegetarian options available - we were seriously impressed. The alou tikka is smoothly spicy, alou sag full of flavour, the chana dal to die for, onion baji amazing - we will definitely be reordering. Also I need to add that the service was fantastic and they are super helpful if you call up.

Second time we have ordered. This time we had the spring rolls, chicken samosas and chicken curry. The food is resturant quality and is hard to believe it is a deliver service. Cant wait for them to open a restaurant!!!! The thing that I loved the most was that the food wasnt swimming in oil , nor did it feel heavy and greasy. Looking forward to trying more from these guys.

Pedimos el Cesta de Navidad ya que teníamos un montón de familia, durante el período de Navidad. La comida fue entregada en un montón de cajas poco bien señalizados. Cada cuadro mostró el conteo de calorías y la lista de ingredientes, no un número e a la vista! La comida estaba helada y tenía que ser calentada en el horno, que es perfecta, ya que podía decidir exactamente cuándo a servir, en lugar de servir comida para llevar recalentadas. La comida es deliciosa y sabrosa, pero no nadando en aceite. Algunos de mis clientes estaban en una dieta alta en carbohidratos y proteínas bajo el curry era perfecto para eso. En resumen, si desea algo limpio, fresco, saludable y deliciosa, y que no termine con el banco, no podría recomendar este sitio!

Teníamos a la familia y amigos de comida recientemente y pedimos Emporium. El servicio era excelente y la comida de primera categoría. Que todos disfrutamos, el pollo seekh kebabs y cordero espinacas bajó una tormenta. El cordero era tierna, con mucha carne y no duro o ácidos grasos ya que normalmente te encuentras en tiendas o en algunos restaurantes. Hemos pedido antes y no me decepcionó. La comida ha sido excelente en todo momento. Tienes que calentar la comida, lo que es estupendo porque puedes pedir con antelación y comer cuando están listos, en vez de tener que esperar por la comida caliente.

We didn't realise when ordering we had to heat the food ourself, otherwise would not have ordered. We ordered a chicken tikka masala as one of our curries on the front page of the menu it didn't list nuts as an ingredient as we are allergic to almonds, we put in the notes we are allergic to peanuts and almonds, when the chicken tikka masala turned up it had almonds in. After checking the website we noticed it you click to go into the option it does say almonds so this was a mistake on our side however after putting in notes we were allergic i think we should have been told not to order this one out of courtesy as it was an oversight on our part. Really nice service from the delivery driver really friendly. The starters were amazing and the other curry we had was nice but wasn't a good experience as we couldn't eat one of them.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from Food Emporium and I have to say, it’s the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. The food is top quality, tastes fantastic and not in the slightest bit greasy, like most Indian takeaways. The first time I ordered, I had a few queries and Tan was really helpful, explained how it all worked and went out of his way to ensure total customer satisfaction. The second time, he even delivered to where I work.Although I wasn’t a great fan of curries previously, their food is delicious so I’ll be ordering from them again and intend trying all the dishes on the menu. If you want great value, restaurant quality food in the comfort of your own home, I have no hesitation in recommending Food Emporium.

I tried this place a while back as I love curry and this was so highly rated on here. The first time we ordered the meal deal for 2 people which was really great value. The service was second to none with a phone call within minutes of ordering to explain delivery times and how it all works and how to cook it. The food is a lot healthier and less oily than a conventional takeaway which I also really liked.When the food arrived the delivery man explained a dessert was unavailable so he hadn't charged us and had also included something else for free. A lovely gesture. I was a little baffled when I got the food out because it was all frozen. Maybe I had read it wrong because I thought it was freshly cooked daily. The rice didn't cook well. In fact it was so hard and dry that we didn't eat it. The bhajis were also dry and crumbly. Everything else however was delicious and I have been keen to give them a second try. Sadly on 3 occasions I haven't been able to do that, one time the website wouldn't work and I had no cash, one time they had no naans and I didn't fancy that rice again and then there was a fairly lengthy shut down period over December. I will probably go here again ever, but I'm not in a rush anymore.

After reading reviews on here I thought it would be a brilliant idea for New Years Eve. I sent an enquiry online and received a very quick response and also a phone-call from Tan to explain how the whole thing works. It seemed ideal for New Year as we had family over and didn't really want to cook. This way we didn't have to eat a lukewarm takeaway and we could eat whenever we wanted. I emailed over my order and received a quick response to say it had been received. I have to say the customer service is fantastic. I ordered the indulgence meal deal for 4 people plus an extra starter and main and including £4 delivery to Horsforth the bill came to £46 which I thought was such good value. You receive a text when your food is on its way and Tan explained to me how to cook the food and how it's much more healthy than a takeaway. Everyone was really impressed with the food. The starters were delicious and the naan was lovely too. The curry portions weren't massive but it was enough food. The only reason I have marked this place down is because I prefer a spicier curry and these curries were all very mild. Overall it's a brilliant idea and I would try it again. Just had a meal deal from the Food Emporium, we ordered online and received a call shortly afterwards, the person on the phone thanked us for our order, asked if we had ordered before, as we hadn't they took the time to explain the food, how it is made and what we would expect when receiving the order.The difference with the Food Emporium is that your food is delivered for you to heat up in your own home so if you are hungry you need to plan this time in too. All the packaging clearly explains what to do and the delivery driver also runs through it with you.So, now for the food, we ordered a meal deal called Dine as it seemed like a really good offer for the cash, 2 appetisers, 2 mains, 2 sundries etc. All the food is light and super tasty, the rice grains are huge, the meat is succulent and juicy, it was that nice we polished the lot off.We will be ordering again for sure, can't wait to try the other dishes!

Did not know what to expect really as a friend of ours had heard about it but not tried it. We ordered the food and invited him over. We now know - its excellent! The curries did have their own individual flavour and they were not over spiced. Very tasty. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely order again.

Threat really good curries this weekend,I had two,wife had the chicken tikka massala,she was blown away with the flavours,she hates takeaways and the oil and chilli heat that goes with them.I had the lamb and spinach and the chicken and spinach,both really really tasty,we shared chicken kebabs,onion bhajis and the nan breads,again,top end restaurant quality.All of the above meal,delivered when I wanted it,chilled and ready to reheat again we we were ready for it.No more mediocre takeaway deliveries for us.

We are often unsure when we can eat as we are putting a small baby to bed. This means we have to food freshly cooked and prepared and can just stick it in the oven when he goes to bed. This wouldn't matter much if it didn't taste great and be good value for money. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

My husband picked up some food on his way home to Newcastle as he was passing through Leeds. We popped it in the oven and it was ready in no time. The food was fresh and extremely tasty. We couldn't have bought better from our local takeaway!

Great food and fantastic quality too. The Chicken Karahi and Lamb are juicy and the meat is tender with a nice amount of spice to it. Also the Chicken Seekh Kebabs are seriously morish.I would definitely recommend ordering from here to enjoy a nice evening in with your partner, and it only takes a few minutes in the microwave or oven to prepare.

Much tastier than the usual Indian takeaway & much healthier too! Just remember to order in advance as you need to warm it in the oven first. Recommend the Lamb Karahi. So tasty!

Saw this place was highly rated on here, now I understand why! The food is delicious and tastes so much fresher than other takeaways. The chicken seekh kebabs were lovely and the spinach and potato curry was full of flavourIt's not hard to cook and the instructions are clear, and the driver advised before he left which was great. (and it still comes frozen so I'll be stocking my freezer next time!)Great staff gave me a courtesy call, very polite and friendly driver. Lovely food that doesn't break the bank. I'll be recommending it to everyone!

Great tasting food, a lot less greasy than traditional Indian takeaways. Would highly recommend the starters and the spinach dishes. Lovely customer service as well. Just be aware to order in advance as you cook it yourself (we weren't aware of this the first time we ordered it).

First time using this service and not disappointed. Rapid response to email order. Rapid delivery and fantastic food. Portions smaller than usual take away but comes with less guilt and far superior taste. Give them a go.

Decided to give here a go due to all the amazing reviews on TA, unfortunately I was really disappointed. The staff were really friendly and on a Saturday night from us ordering it took 1 hour 45 before we were able to eat our main course. They did explain they were running very late, roads were shut and they were very busy.It said to put the pakoras in the microwave but this made them soggy, should definitely be done in the oven. My husband had lamb main and was shocked at the portion size. I had sag aloo which was all potato and not much spinach, both dishes were really bland and lacked spice. The nans were lovely.It's a shame as its a great concept, the staff were really helpful and there was little oil in the food but it didn't work for us.

Well, I had almost given up on takeaway curries following a series of disappointing meals. Then we thought we would try Food Emporium. Wow! Absolutely delicious. I don't think this can be beaten. Service is also first class. Easy to order, quick delivery and just needs a short spell in the oven. Brilliant.

Got food from Food Emporuim a few times now and will keep going back. Food is fantastic, tasty, fresh and great quality. Really enjoyed everything we have had and the service is great too. The website made my mouth water, the delivery was prompt and friendly and the food was delicious. It made a change to see such a healthy list of ingredients. The only minor point for improvement was that our currys were very mild and although we dont like really spicy food we like a bit of heat. I think a guide to heat on the menu would be useful.

What can I say about food emporium, let the food and the customer service tell you. The food is of the highest quality and totally authentic, the customer service is second to none from food emporium, these people will go the extra mile to please its customers and food emporium has a fantastic personal touch too. We throughly enjoyed the food we ordered from Food Emporium. We ordered a Lamb karahi and Chicken karahi with a side dish of Pakoras and Onion Bhajis. All dishes were well seasoned and flavoured. Everything from start to finish was a treat dealing with Tan from Food Emporium Leeds. We had a works event and got Tan to sort it out. All we really did is tell him the numbers and he did the rest, we had the event at our offices. I'm not kidding everyone was blown away with the food.The food was delivered straight to the door as well. When I went to see Tan to thank him he showed me the kitchen, it was immaculate. First meal was through a discount voucher but was brilliant enough to make us go again at full price! The service is great, there was a mix up on the 2nd order which they delivered on the wrong day but came back without an issue 4 days later when we actually wanted it. Not sure if that was me or the Internet. Lovely food, easy to heat and really really tasty with different choices to make it what you want. Looking forward to the next one.

Food Emporium Leeds certainly know what they are doing! We had a family meal that was simply delicious. All the food from the starters to the main curries were cooked to perfection and had none of the associated grease that normally comes with similar types of takeaways. My wife and I loved the meal and will certainly order again but even our two young children, who are very fussy enjoyed it too. Can't recommend them highly enough.

This is by far the best Indian food I have ever had!!! I have been ordering food from Food Emporium since they first opened and it just gets better and better. The food is cooked with fresh ingredients and is as authentic (if not better) than any restaurant I have been too. The food is nothing like the usual cheap and nasty takeaway food you usually get from fast food establishments, it is excellent quality and not full of the usual artificial colouring, MSG and ghee butter. In fact I believe the food is actually cooked by an Indian chef so definite gourmet food.The food arrives cold which is perfect as you can then have it when you desire rather than as soon as it arrives. The curries only take approx. 20 minutes in the oven, the perfect amount of time to have a pre curry beer and some of the many tasty starters.Favourite curries of mine are the lamb and spinach and the chicken tikka masala. I also love the lamb samosas (you need to deep fry these) along with any of the tasty dips. The deserts are also lovely if you can fit one in.I have recommended Food Emporium too many friends which are now also regular customers. The food is that fabulous we even ordered our Mother's Day dinner from here which went down a treat!In addition the food is excellent value for money, cheaper than your average takeaway!I wish the owners all the success in the world as they truly have a passion in serving delicious food!

We have just finished Chana Dhaal ,Allo Saag,veg.biryiani,with Onion Bhajis .All were delicious,and a reasonable price with delivery included.Highly recommended.

We used food emporium a month or so ago when we fancied a night off cooking but didn't fancy the usual run of the mill take away. We were delighted as the food was absolutely delicious. Although food orders are submitted by email /through the website, we had a couple of queries so rang first to clarify. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and answered all our questions. The website is reasonably easy to navigate too. Once we submitted our order we received a confirmation back and it really was as simple as that. The service was great. A very helpful guy delivered our food and explained the details for heating it up (all food arrives chilled) although the details were also on the packaging. We were so impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent service/ great staff that we decided to use Food Emporium again over the festive period for a family gathering that we were having. Once again the food was delicious and we could not fault the service. Our guests were also impressed.Don't confuse Food Emporium Leeds ltd with take away food as there simply is no comparison. Think of it as restaurant quality food delivered fresh to your home for you to eat at the time you decide. This is reflected in the price, but we still feel that the food is reasonably priced for the quality received.They do do free delivery to some postcodes but we have to pay a small surcharge (£3 I think) but we are happy to pay this for good food.

What a fab idea, we tried this after buying a well known coupon deal and glad we did. The customer service received is probably in my top three for this year, excellent and such a user friendly process.Then the food... Wow, we eat a lot of Indian food and we loved the dishes delivered plus you get to choose when you eat by just heating up.Highly recommended!

Ordered using a voucher that I'd been saving for a special occasion and immediately found a problem, as the voucher was not recognised. I e-mailed a query after 10.30 pm and had a reply within the hour. (Not that I read it until the following morning; some of us sleep, Tan!) I replied at 7.30 a.m. and had a phone call by 9.00 a.m, explaining that the voucher instructions were unclear and that I'd ordered more than I was due...........but in the circumstances, they would amend the order, so that I got a lot of the missing dishes as a freebie. Given that the fault lay with the Voucher mob, that was amazing service. Then we were able to arrange a delivery time to a specific hour (Parcelforce, please note). The delivery took place exactly as promised, with yet another freebie because they were out of one starter. As I was well outside the delivery area, a tip to the driver was an obvious decision. So when was the last time that you had a text message thanking you for a tip? Me, neither. After that build-up, the meal itself was obviously going to be a disappointment, wasn't it. Well I'm not going to say that it was the best Asian food I've ever eaten (that was a five star hotel in Delhi), but it was the best takeaway that I've had in many a long year. The healthy cooking has been mentioned but it does not diminish the flavours or the spicing in any way. Five of us sat down to a banquet and enjoyed every bite. We'll certainly be back and I'm already looking forward to the next feast. Thank you again, Tan and all your team. Your food is 5 star, but your customer service merits twice that.

After a brief hiatus we indulged in another meal from the Food Emporium.As always the service was super friendly. The food was just so tasty and really stands the reheating process incredibly well. The oil content is so minimal compared to a lot of takeaways and my colleagues agreed that it restaurant quality in takeaway form and at a very reasonable price. Can't see us getting takeaways from anywhere else. Definitely one I can wholeheartedly recommend.

I came across food emporium on Tuesday myself and partner had as follows: - StartersOnion bhajis Aloo tikkiSpecialitiesChicken karahiLamb spinachWith peas pilau rice and nanns. From the food leaving the freezer I transfered into my fridge and cooked the next day following instructions on packaging. The whole meal tasted great my favourite dish was the chicken karahi not too hot and delicious,I will definately be using food emporium again and even thinking of using them for any catering needs.

I too had my first order by using a voucher, but quickly followed that up with a second order and am now about to order again!After using a selection of local takeaways I have now found the one which we will stick to. The reasons for our preference are that firstly, the food is very good indeed. It is, as mentioned by other reviewers, healthier than most others. It is also authentically tasting and as good, if not better, than good restaurant standards. Secondly, the service received is just as you would want, with clear, polite communications, queries answered promptly and an obvious consideration for the customer and a desire to please. They are to be highly recommended.

The food here was excellent. After having initial reservations about it being frozen on delivery, that was soon forgotten. The starter was very succulent and tasty and the curries were some of the best I have ever had. Would definitely recommend.

We had a meal for 4 people from here on a Groupon deal.The food was absolutely lovely, and I really can't fault the customer service. The Groupon voucher did not give any details on how to order, so I emailed The Food Emporium, and they very promptly rang me back and explained everything very clearly and I placed my order via email.The food arrived on time and it was well labelled with clear instructions for heating. The food was really tasty, much nicer than a "normal" takeaway.The only downside, and the reason I have only given a rating of of 3/5 is because some of the food was still frozen, which meant that the cooking times were completely wrong. We followed everything to the letter on the containers, and this meant that 2 of the curries were only lukewarm, one of the starters was completely cold, and I had to heat the rice for double the given time to get it warm enough (and get rid of the frozen chunks!). I had placed the order in the morning for delivery in the evening so there's really no excuse for the food not being taken out of the freezer in time! The quality of the food was lovely, it was just disappointing that we had a bit more faff than we anticipated

Originally myself and my colleagues tried the Food Emporium after seeing them on Living Social and purchasing a voucher. However after one we were hooked. The food is great quality and not greasy. We had stopped using takeaways for curries because we could not find one of restaurant quality but now we have a great takeaway option. The prices are reasonable and the staff friendly and helpful.We've found it makes sense in a work setting to be able to heat the food when we are ready, too often we have had piping hot fish and chips go cold when a driver arrives or the phone starts ringing off the hook, with this we can leave the food in the oven for five more minutes without it suffering any ill effects. Plus I'm sure my son won't mind a few of these lovely curries to take back to uni and freeze.All in all very impressed and pleased.

The food was delivered to my door. The whole thing took 20 minutes to prepare and then we had a an absolutely gorgeous meal, which wasn't swimming in fat as so many other are! Such a great idea to have the calories detailed and I believe the food is Slimming World friendly, which I will be sharing with a number of friends who follow that plan!Customer service is friendly and professional. We will definitely use this company again and will be recommending them to friends and family.

A cheap deal via Living Social and the food was absolutely fantastic. A great service from the staff, Tan was really helpful and friendly. This will be our go to take away from now on.

The food was veey good quality,reasonable portions. Finally a takeaway where different dishes has different taste and the aren't loaded with salt.You pay more but definitely get more.

due to the deal this was an excellent priced night in. Excellent serveice by very friendly staff who were obviously keen to impress. Good food and plenty of it delivered to your door labelled with cooking instructions and for those of us that are figure conscious the number of calories in each item Well done - will use again

This was our 1st experience of the Food Emporium and can honestly say from the first phone call to them to the last mouthful of food it was a 1st class experience to remember. I got a good deal from wowcher so rang them to order our meal. I was so impressed with the polite and courteous way I was spoken to. I had left it too late to place an order but they were most apologetic and I ordered for the following evening. They explained on the phone how it works, the food is cooked freshly each day and then delivered at your convenience to put in your fridge. It can then be heated up in your microwave in minutes, the beauty of this is that its served exactly when you want it !All the food is cooked in rapeseed oil and of low calorific value without MSG so as well as being top quality its better for you than most takeaways.We ordered chicken seekh kebabs which were divine and onion bhaji,s.which were lovely.Followed by chicken tikka masala and chicken karahi. The quality of these 2 dishes were beyond restaurant fare. The meat was tender and the sauces delicious, not too hot but spicy and mouthwatering. We will definitely be ordering again soon. The whole experience was very proffesional and the food was as good as Ive tasted anywhere. Cant wait to order again !!Ian from Pudsey

Bought this meal with a voucher, had a very courteous call from the restaurant to confirm the order and then arrived in a timely manner. The food was very nice - as mentioned by others you heat yourself. Good level of spices and tasty. Not a large selection on menu and would love a fish choice for the future but I do plan to order again.

Got a stupidly cheap voucher for food emporioum on a whim. What a lovely surprise! First you should know that its not your normal takeaway. You order the food cold and then warm it up....takes about 20mins but its well worth the wait. Restaurant quality food or in actual fact better than some restaurants. This will now be my go to curry takeaway no question. Fantastic and very personal customer service even with a follow up call to check how it was.

This is the best take away experience we have had in ages. The service was amazing, the food was great and they did their very best to please. We had two starters and two mains, and they were all delicious. Good value for money too. We are definitely buying food here again!

Chilled curries great idea had it delivered 2 hours before needed, allowed for me to set the time to eat, worked well, food great, very helpful staff. easy to understand heating instructions, I live outside the free delivery area but well worth the £3 charge

Really good food at reasonable prices and clearly a small family business trying their best to please. Minced Chicken Sikh Kebab was a recommended extra and it was superb. Chicken and Spinach Curry was good too, although a little too much oil for my liking. All round good service and food. I would definitely use this service again.IanLeeds City Centre
