Food Dude in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

It had gone by 2019 sadly. It was wonderful when I visited I 2017 but is no longer there, shame😥. The last who ran it was superb, great cook, friendly and welcoming, lots of locals are there too, good chat plus local knowledge, very sad it was shut by a local competitor apparently.

Wow, qué hallazgo. Calidad y aperitivos caseros: nachos increíbles, mejores hamburguesas en Falmouth y aceitunas totalmente impresionantes y almendras fritas para beber agua. Personal amable encantador, me encantó.

El servicio amable y los baps bacon fueron cocinados a pedido pero no tardaron mucho. Delicioso tocino grueso también! También me gustó el hecho de que el agua venía en latas que se podían volver a sellar en lugar de botellas de plástico, cubiertos de madera, etc. en lugar de plástico. Definitivamente regresaremos . . salchicha bap la próxima vez!

Después de despotricar sobre este lugar para mis amigos durante siglos, finalmente llegamos a visitar. He estado yendo aquí por un tiempo y siempre esperaba un excelente servicio y comida. Sin embargo, hoy fue muy diferente! Cuando llegamos, un miembro del personal estaba parado afuera de la camioneta con lo que parecía un ataque de pánico. Su jefe 'John' vino y lo reprendió frente a los clientes. Siguió llamando al chico 'suave' por estar molesto y usó lenguaje vil contra él. Cuando el chico se enojó más, John recurrió a golpearlo en la cabeza dos veces antes de dispararle en el acto. En este punto, el niño se alejó de John y los miembros del público procedieron a ayudarlo. Cuando fue confrontado por el público, John discutió con ellos y dijo que el niño se lo merecía por la forma en que se veía. Absolutamente disgustado por lo que vi hoy y te recomiendo que vayas a otro lugar si no quieres apoyar a un hombre a quien le importa tan poco su personal.

Este lugar es una visita obligada, hamburguesas recién hechas a pedido. El amable personal también hace que su visita valga la pena. Prueba la hamburguesa con queso de chile.

This sits on the quay near the park and float ferry and is a little gem. You can get a range of hot burgers and snacks and hot and cold drinks. There are tables and benches to sit out and enjoy the views while enjoying some delicious food. Our food was made to order by a really friendly local lady. The burgers and sauages are cornish and tasty. I know next time we are in falmouth everyone will want to go back. Dont miss it its fab.

The Fude Dude ... We were there for breakfast in the open air, on a beautiful sunny morning. A mobile van style caterer, well priced, great friendly service and good food. Has picnic style tables and other seat benches on the quayside. A great location on Custom House Quay, looking out over the harbour, watching the world go by.

This is a must place to get fabulous burgers & other grub. Each time I go I have the Classic burger with chilli cheese & then add some Jalapeno chilli's. They are NOT the run-of-the-mill burgers they are specially made & cooked to order. Thanks Eve for a good catch-up, see you in September.

I've been stopping off at the Fude Dude regularly for refreshments for two years and have never had a duff day. The menu has plenty of choice and caters for gluten free and vegetarians. The burgers are super and the pulled pork is absolutely delicious with homemade apple slaw. Whilst Eve serves her cream teas the 'Devon' way I'm sure we can forgive her as they're also a real treat! Drinks selection is excellent, try the sparkling rhubarb it's proper tasty. Good value, quality food with a great view over the harbour. If you're lucky you might spot a dolphin or two! Regulars can also benefit from a loyalty card. Everything you need to know about the area too, tourist information and locals' gossip thrown in for good measure. Would highly recommend!

Truly remarkable food from a small mobile unit in an enviable position on the quayside. Freshly cooked to order burgers of the best quality, a wide range of other options including vegetarian. Hygiene rating 5 . Best food stall experience for some time absolute must during your Saturday or any day shopping trip in Falmouth. Outside bench seating, great views,great food, and great local gossip. Top marks for an excellent small business.

Much more than your typical burger van! Fantastic food and great value for money. A large choice of burgers with generous tasty toppings and great hotdogs too. Have been a number of times recently and Eve is always welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. Highly recommended for a quality eat with a lovely setting.

Best bacon cob i have ever tasted. Lovely setting by the quay. Food prepared and cooked as we chatted to the owner who was so helpful on places to visit, restaurants and best places to buy fresh caught lobster. Would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone - so worth it and cost was so reasonable.

Yo estaba haciendo algunas compras de suministros jardín y me di cuenta que no tenía nada para la cena, ya que mi estómago empezó a snarl en mí como un perro rabiosos. Me paré en el van pensando que me gustaría probarlo. Pedí una hamburguesa con todo y comenzó a charlar con la mujer en la parrilla. Me preguntó qué parte de América estaba siendo canadiense (por supuesto me llena de horror y el choque que viene con esa pregunta), pero luego me dieron mi hamburguesa. Color me intrigó cuando vi que cargados con todas las verduras y mostaza sacó de cerdo, lo cual me pregunto por qué sólo encontré a este maravilloso maravilloso. Pedí un tenedor porque era claramente iba a ser un reto para comer como un ser humano y yo paloma. Sólo puedo decir que esta hamburguesa era tan bueno que era suficiente para llevar totalmente perdonar preguntaron si me americano. Todos felicitaciones durante todo el año.

Great restaurant, sat with the view of the quay and watched the boats. I ordered the traditional fish and chips and it was absolutely lovely, soft and tasty. Chips were delicious. Would visit again.

Yo estaba en necesidad de sentarse, un café y un pastel cuando pasé el día en Falmouth el miércoles pasado. Me vio el Fude Dude remolque en un embarcadero en el Quayside (muelle) de Falmouth ... y me alegro. Una ubicación fabulosa con un café y tarta a un precio muy razonable. Lo que hace que sea un lugar muy agradable para visitar es Eva, la señora encantadora que posee y dirige Fude Dude. Nochevieja es amable, conversador, informado y divertido y generoso con un fallo. Ella nos dio, y quiero decir nos dieron gratuitamente, un paquete de patatas fritas suya porque ella había vendido del sabor un cliente pedido. Eve hace mucho de lo que vende ... col, sacó cerdo, etc. .. y trabaja muy duro. Ella merece éxito. No visitar Falmouth sin pagar Fude Dude una visita.

Great location. We visited on a Sunday morning in September. A beautiful day. A great cup of coffee and the most amazing hot chocolate. We sat out watching over the water enjoying the sunshine.

This new business really delivered a very tasty burger and also pulled pork in a bun. Much to be recommended. Unfortunately the smoked pulled pork had run out.
