After our walk in the park we wanted to have tea and chat. My friend went in and asked if they served tea, they said yes, we were told to sit in garden which was nice but soon after two men came out and started smoking and went inside ordered teas and deserts. They didn't serve milk with tea and it wasn't herbal tea it was English Breakfast (never known English tea without milk), I was taken back with that. When it come to pay it was either we pay by cash or bank transfer but no card payment. We always pay for our food and drinks, I was OK as I had cash but my friend needed to setup a new customer but she couldn't as she didn't have a card reader. We were not shouting but kept on telling the waitress that my friend cannot setup customer to pay but the waitress thought we were having a go at her. We must have told her 20 times that the account cannot be set up and she kept saying she understands and then say make the transfer. It's absurd all you need is a cheap PDQ machine to pay by card or keep card readers for all the banks and building societies so that the customer can set up account to pay you, if not than train your staff better. Luckily I found some cash to pay my friend's bill otherwise it was terrible attitude of the waitress. Also serve milk with English breakfast tea.

I'm not polish but have been to Folvark several times with my partner. Most of the customers are polish and very friendly and polite. I feel very welcome here. The food is absolutely delious and the service is great. I would recommend the ruffian pancake and spicey nobleman soup (type of goulash). Only unfortunate thing is they don't have prosecco 😔 but otherwise top marks for this place and the wonderful hardworking staff. I'll be back 😁

The food was very tasty, ALTHOUGH the baked camembert for the starter, arrived cold on the inside, and we weren't even asked if we need anything else, halfway through the starters or mains. Other tables however (served by a different waitress), were asked, if they liked the food. We had pork lions, chicken breast, ducks and ribs for mains and baked camembert, garlic bread and steak tartare for starters.. 2 mains came out and the rest was recieved when the 2 people at our table, have already eaten nearly half the dish. The toilets were horrendous! Sticky floor and dirt everywhere.. A restaurant isn't unfortunately just made of great food. If these would get improved, the restaurant could get back on the track, it was on approx 2 years ago.. 3 stars mainly for the food, as on the whole it should be 2.. sad, because I would come back for the food, if everything else was okay..

Being regular customer of lovely polish food but this time I was very disappointed. Waiting time for each course was min 30 mins (even simple apple pie). When I was waiting for food quite long I’ve decided to stay without any complaints cos food was always with good quality but when I’ve received my desert with vanilla ice cream on the side with very strong taste of MEAT... I loose my passion. I couldn’t believe is this kind of standards. I’m working in hospitality too and I know British health&safety standards very well and is my first time to complain that bad for “my hospitality friends”... dear manager pleas take care of this. Customer service in this place doesn’t exist cos no one asked me if I enjoyed my meal and I’m sure waitress saw my face... I’m sorry to say that but wouldn’t go back...

A fantastic little restaurant near Hounslow Central. They're welcoming, service is good, the portion sizes are huge and it represents tremendous value for money. The menu's has some great option along with daily specials. We usually visit a couple of times a month and have not ever been dissapointed. They also do a takeaway service for those lazy evenings. Favourites have to be the polish soups and the pork with mushrooms. The pierogi is also nice.

I’ve been here a couple of times. Food uniformly lovely. For the avoidance of doubt, it is clearly a Polish bar / restaurant - almost exclusively Polish clientele. The food is great if you like Central European fare (and I can’t imagine why you’d go here otherwise) - plenty of pork, potatoes and cream. Attentive staff. Laid back venue. A cosy front room and another space out the back. For someone who doesn’t speak Polish, it’s more of a place to watch than participate but, language barrier notwithstanding, it’s a cosy, welcoming restaurant that offers straightforward, tasty food. The price? Starters: c.£5. Mains: c.£10. Beer: c.£3 for 500ml. Good value. Good food. Good choice.

Went here with some Polish people for Sunday lunch. Terrific meal; great Sour Barley Soup, followed some really excellent meat dishes. As already pointed out, the portions are huge, but they gave us doggy bags to take the remains home with us. Fairly limited wine list, but looks like a ton of Polish beers on offer. Friendly staff, great service. We seemed to be the only non-Polish people there. We'll be back!

Found this place based on TA reviews and happy we did! Heard much Polish as it is apparently a hangout for expats due to the authentic food and reasonable prices. As several reviewers have said - the portions are huge so skip the starters (we tried the smoked cheese and bacon which was good but not memorable). My wife and sister both ordered pierogies but one order would have been plenty! The potato pancake with pork goulash was likewise huge and both tasted like your Polish grandmothers made them - exceptional. Good Polish beers including a couple of guest beers not on the menu. Nice chat with the young Polish man behind the bar - made us feel like cousins at his local pub. Great stop.

Staying in Hounslow Travelodge. Visiting from Australia. Very happy to see we had a well-rated Polish restaurant down the road. Took three kids there for dinner to experience authentic European food. They loved the mixed Highlander style dumplings - yummy mushroom flavours and lightly spiced meat. My husband and shared the potato pancake with pork goulash, but it was so yummy my husband ate nearly all of it! Good thing the kids left me some dumplings! Fast, friendly service. £33 including a jug of juice and two beers.

Obsługa bardzo miła i uśmiechnięta, w restauracji czysto i miła atmosfera. Jeśli chodzi o jedzenie to takie sobie.

I have come here around once a month with my wife many times over the past year and we love it. It's like visiting friendly, smiling family and the place has a real community feel. The interior decoration transports you to what could be a small Polish village in the countryside, with lots of farm style ornaments including piano, wooden carvings, exposed brickwork and wooden beams. We absolutely love the food here and selection of Polish beers. Without doubt it ranks highest of all the restaurants in Hounslow Central, and likely all of Hounslow for 1) service 2) food 3) value for money 4) friendliness. We'll definitely be back again and again!

We tried the ewe smoked cheese and bacon with garlic sauce as a starter as well as the cottage cheese pierogi, they were amazing, then we went for the mixed grill the beef was so tender and tasty, the potatoes were well seasoned and even I found the red cabbage nice even though it's not my cup of tea. It was all well presented and the staff is friendly and we felt like we were dropping into a family home. The only thing that restrained me from ordering more was the fact that we had ot pay cash. ALl in all I highly recomend it. It's dear but it reflext the quality. Be aware you wait quite a long time for your meal as it is made fresh to order.

This place was recommended by a Polish colleague so, as lovers of Poland and eastern central europe in general, we had to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We went on a quiet, cold Friday night and were greeted with welcome warmth by the staff on arrival. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with a mixture of modern furniture, Polish memorabilia, brewery art, and lots of wood (which pleased my fiancee). The service was polite, friendly and attentive without being suffocating and we were made to feel comfortable immediately as we were presented with the menus that resemble a school geography book from the 1970s. After all this, the food had a lot to live up to. It didn't disappoint.Starter for her was a very wholesome soup with sausage and eggs whilst mine was the Folvark platter - a spread of meat that my fiancee couldn't resist slipping between her lips. She couldn't get enough. For main she had a pork chop with potatoes. Sounds dull? It wasn't, it was fabulous. I had the Ruffian's Pancake, which was like a giant potato rosti dipped in batter, fried, and then filled with the most glorious, garlic infused pork in cream sauce. Both dishes were served with white and red pickled cabbage. Both dishes were absolutely fabulous. Highly, highly recommend. It also has the bonus of a late night Romanian mini-market next door which is bursting with eastern European delicacies and meats...my fiancee completely stuffed her basket with meat and couldn't get enough of the shopkeeper's dried sausage.

I absolutely love Folvark and they serve the best dumplings in the city. That is pretty much the only dish I usually order (because I like them so much and they are very time consuming to make yourself), but I tried many other dishes (apart from pizza) and really liked the majority of them. I also like the decor and the service is always very nice. It is my favorite place for Sunday lunch and the food tastes just as good as my mum's, which is what Polish food is all about :). Indeed they do not accept cards and this can be a bit annoying as there are no cash machines in the vicinity, but hey you just need to make sure you have some cash on you.

We've never eaten Polish food before; it was a damp night and we were tired so we didn't do anything adventurous.
