Come and see a good old fashioned brentford pub before gentrification turns it into a Gails or Starbucks Well kept beers and excellent food. Pie, mash and liquor is authentic and delicious and the fish and chips is crispy and super tasty. Large portions too. Friendly and accommodating staff and local punters.

We were just visiting the area and popped in, the food was very good, traditional pub great service and atmosphere. Will recommend the fish and chips. Whenever we return, will DEFINITELY be visiting again .

A very comfortable and accommodating pub, full of tradition. Interesting and attractive decor. Food looked very good although I didn't eat, quick pint and a ramekin of dry roasted nuts en route to Shepherd's Bush Empire. A decent pint of Mahou but there seemed to be confusion over the pricing of some drinks. Large beer garden to the side. I'd happily return.

I've had the best times there. It's my local. And the community, the chilled atmosphere are great. Plus the live acts, Gary Barlow tribute act, comedy hypnotist, disci nights... Etc... if you're in the area. Need a bite for lunch. Have a chilled drink. Just come down and have a beer.Jackie the landlady will take good care of you.

What a great pub! Visiting from Canada and was blown away. Food was well priced and delicious, owners were friendly, and it's got some history! Husband, mum, and dad all loved it.

I’ve been here a 1000 times over the last 25 years and it’s always changing managers, but at the moment it’s very nice. It’s always been a big pub with a great garden and now the food is really good and the staff were very friendly too

It does what it says on the tin! The six bells by Brentford bridge is a simple unassuming pub offering a good selection of keg beers along with a couple of cask ales for the real ale drinkers. There is a lovely courtyard garden with plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine. Lovely people behind the bar. Good place for a pint.

A great place to have a relaxed chat, with a perfect beer and friends. Owner is a lovely person, the garden is nice (it's next to Major road but you will not ear any car at all). I only miss the old apple tree that makes me feel more connected to nature.

This pub should be renamed to "Barking Bogs" and it does not mater if you are outside or inside the pub - dogs are unleashed and running everywhere. When I tried to ordered my drink I had to stop as bartender could not heir me, neither I could understand what she was saying as the dogs were barking very loudly. In the terrace you would want to have nice and peaceful conversation but not when dogs are barking, running and jumping to your chair It looked as some local clients came with their not well behaved dogs as well. Not pleasant experience - as visited this pub first time. I like dogs, but would not bring it to a bar. I won't be coming back, although the Landlady was friendly.

Reopened the beginning of May ‘22 with a new Landlady, refreshed inside and the beer garden is quaint with lots of hanging baskets and plants. No food or sport channels at this time. Nice sitting in the garden on a sunny evening. Dog friendly, Room to park bikes securely.

Nice pizza but FOH didn't seem to care that they ran out of ingredients and served a £13 pizza with half the toppings missing. no offer to even address the problem, just shrugged it off when we brought it up. Surprised as I've been here a few times, but I don't want to go back if this is the service quality.

So glad to have an LGBTQI+ community pub in Brentford. Super excited for the open mic nights and new food menu. Bar staff and Manager are awesome and super friendly. Music is fantastic and gives a great variety of atmospheres. It’s a fantastic fun and safe space to spend the evening and have a few drinks and plenty of laughs. Lovely bar staff. Went with friends and was very clean and comfortable. Outdoors area with lots of space. Had a really nice G&T too in a lovely big glass.

Quality cask ales, and other beers on tap. Absolute top notch fish and chips. I normally abhor peas in all forms and the whole/not-mushy peas served with the excellent fish and chips were superb. Great beer, great food, great service.

This pub was recently revamped and I don't have a bad word to say about it. The staff were really friendly when they explained how cheap their drinks were, they were only double what I'd normally pay. After having my drink, I needed to use the toilets. They were truly a work of art and I can see where the drink price goes. They had a new and innovative toilet door with locks, shame the doorframe doesn't have the holes for the lock just yet, I'm sure this is priority number 1 when they sell a few more mortgages/drinks.

Great welcome, food very good, nicely served, locals friendly. No draught on only just arrived, but allowed tasters . New name LOCK, I think , but 6bells sign still up.

Only went for a drink but the roasts looked good (went on a Sunday). There's an outside area but no view, pretty basic. Nice staff.

A nice pub, fairly recently refurbished with some good beers, but it is very quiet whenever we go!

Its OK I guess. Having arrived there was plenty of seats. Once we ordered our food we were waiting about 40 minutes to an hour. When the food arrived the potatoes were like frozen potatoes so they were still a little bit hard. Everything else was done to a good standard I had the lamb which was okay but people on my table had chicken and they had said it's not the most succulent chicken, was a bit dry. Only thing that really bugged me was the waiting time. Menu had no effort put in it. Only things on the menu was a roast dinner option of 4 different meats, the cheapest meat was sold out somehow even though it was empty in there... and nothing else to order baguettes somehow aren't available even though it's the easiest thing to throw together.

my advice is to avoid this place as best you can. Absolutely no character whatsoever. 4 customers on friday at 10pm. no customers on sunday evening. Find more craic in a morgue.

Newly refurbished and reopened place that has a large bar area. Good choice of craft and keg beer menu covered the usual choices.

Six bells has been closed but now there is a new team trying to get it going again. New kitchen and decoration is great but the best is new friendly landlord Andrew and great new young chef Matt. So would recommend.

It's changed hands now I saw the menu very reasonable prices heard they're going to have a Fizz night for the women Fridays been there as yet every 3 people you get so I hear they get a free bottle of Prosecco

Top marks for the food - seriously cheffy stuff, quite remarkable for Brentford. Friendly landlord, but the atmosphere could be cosier. No problem getting a table, and the food deserves better, hoping it catches on and there is some money to be spent on the ambience.

Young chef with ambitions plus very friendly landlord make a good team. Excellent food, we felt very welcome and were well served. Not cheap, but worth the money! Nice atmosphere! Very convenient when you stay at neighbouring hotels.

Very sad to hear it's closing but the yuppification of Brentford has destroyed so much else in the area that it's unfortunately not surprising.

Very nice Sunday roast (roast beef) served with cheesy cauliflower and tasty gravy. Staff was friendly and helpful. They should only improve on the ale's selection (London pride) only during my visit.

Best pub in Brentford! It has been transformed with an amazing menu my favourite which I ask for every time when I visit is the Chicken! A Must try! (Burgers OMG too). Love the karaoke nights! The staff and chef in the kitchen are always such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you and see you again soon!

I was born and bred in Brentford and the six bells has never been a pub i went into until today and it was lovely.... The staff were very friendly, the pub is very clean and the back garden is beautiful. My husband and i had the roast pork lunch and it was amazing, good size portion and so tasty...would highly recommend and we will be returning, well done

Have been to this pub on several occasions, always a warm welcome, very friendly staff, clean, homely and a great choice of ales. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes fantastic. Going again this weekend to watch the rugby, becentertained with a live band, drink some ale and eat fresh exceptionally prepared and tasty roast dinner. Excellent pub and run by a great landlord.
