Food was exquisite , service as well , nice atmosphere for a Sunday dinner.

The belly soup was quite good, but the papanas were top, great 👌, we'll be back :)

First time trying a Romanian food. It was totally lovely. We shared our plates as we wanted to try a bit of everything that looked nice to us. I would definately go back again and bring friends and family. A great experience. Lovely staff too.

I recently hosted my baby boy's baptism at Restaurant Carpatica, and I am incredibly disappointed with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed unprofessional behaviour that left us feeling unwelcome. Not only were they rude, but they also seemed disorganised and unprepared for our event. Our guests were left waiting for extended periods without no food and drinks , and when we raised our concerns, the staff responded with a dismissive attitude rather than offering assistance or solutions. When we raised our concern they come back by saying it is our own fault about everything they actually never admitted it was them fault by being very bad organised and also having short staff. When we signed our contract between parts we been told something and on the day it was totally different and when we spoken to the owner she had a disrespectful act to call us liars even though she was one of them telling us with a previous night the rules that we been discussed with her staff previously to and on the day she never admitted they might be wrong she had always her bad attitude even though from our part we done everything properly and paid until last penny. It's disheartening to have such an important occasion marred by poor service. I expected a level of professionalism for a family celebration, but unfortunately, Restaurant Carpatica did not deliver at all!! We will not be returning and cannot recommend this place for any special events to anyone!

I took a friend of mine to this restaurant to try out Romanian traditional dishes, despite the fact that my friend did not eat pork we have chosen beef soup which was great, he enjoyed it, we also got chicken stew with polenta which it was good as well. He enjoyed the flavors of the food. However the food is pricey for what it’s worth. The smell at the entrance wasn’t pleasant at all, as soon as we opened the door there was a bad smell coming from somewhere inside the restaurant. Overall it’s okay.

Food lacked taste, condiments and was cold. Portions were very small for price.

Food was so-so, nothing too tasty but the service was very slow and everything took ages despite there not being customers around. The waiter also forgot some of our order and we had to remind them. Very poor decor and atmosphere overall.

Very poor quality service. When I asked why the food was delayed because 45 minutes had passed since the order (but on the menu they wrote falsely that it takes 15-30 minutes) the waiter asked me what I ordered. Instead of finding out the answer to my question, he answered with another question which is unacceptable and rude. I told him go and check and he drew my attention to my way of speaking with he. after that, out of the two desserts ordered, I received only one. and when I asked for the bill of payment and noticed the lack of the ordered dessert, the waiter falsely apologized stating that he did not take my order but his new colleague. He basically lied... it was a ffff bad experience, even the worst in all my years of life. I have eaten thousands of times in the same restaurants, terraces, cafes, etc. in many territories, but tonight is the day lovers makes me think 10 times before whether to enter a restaurant or not. I was not bothered by the mistakes but by the insensitivity, lack of respect and arrogance with which I was treated. I SWEAR that if the people from Carpatica will offer me free meals even day after day I will not step foot in that restaurant again. It affected my psyche so badly. PS even the payment note was late I had to ask for it for three times. SHAME on you.

It is always a pleasure to return to this restaurant! Had always breakfast, lunch, dinner, visinata, and mulled wine in the cold seasons ! The food is always fresh, with big portions and tasty ! Prices: worthing and fair, not expensive, neither Staff: friendly and attentive, respectful, and mannered Cleanliness: 100% Toilets: Always clean, that says a lot ! In the summer, the terrace is always full of beautiful flowers !

Long waiting times on a Friday evening. The served food was different from the order twice which the waiter admitted as being incorrect. They did all they could to correct the situation, which we appreciated. But I think he could have used a pad to take the order on, rather than trying to remember a fairly complex order for 5 people. Otherwise the location is pleasant, well spaced tables, a wide range of traditional Romanian dishes.

We just went today with our 10 months old baby. The food was 10 out of 10 and made as we requested. Baby really enjoy everything and so did we. The waiter was really friendly and made us feel like home. Definitely going back. Highly recommended to anyone willing to try romanian food.

I visited here with my partner and daughter for dinner. I ordered sarmale with mamaliga and smantana. My partner ordered a pork dish with chips. The sarmale was not edible. It was like chewing on pure salt and tasted old. So I left it, only eating some of the mamaliga (which was a bit solid). My partner said the pork dish was fine, but nothing particularly special. The atmosphere was ridiculously loud, we couldn't really talk at all. Then the bill came. Don't be fooled by the menu prices...they charge for everything on your plate, even though it comes together. The "Sarmale cu mamaliga si smantana" will show one price on the menu. On the bill will be that price, plus the price of the mamaliga and the price of smantana added on extra...really shocking. They also put through that 8 jack Daniel and colas were ordered...2 were ordered. Have your wits about you here, or just don't come. I left most of my food because it was awful

You order from the menu and when you pay at home the price is different, after which you ask to be shown on the menu you received what you have to pay extra for and you get the answer "DO NOT WRITE IN THE MENU", on the other hand they also answer that a fool after serving theo with stale bread that he previously put in the oven to dry

I highly recommend this place, the food is delicious no matter what you order you can't go wrong! The service is excellent with a lot of attention and very good recommendations! Carpathia really well done, best in the west as it says in the book!!

Very pleasantly surprised by the traditional Romanian food, I warmly recommend the pastrami, the mutton chops and everything on their menu, my gang was very satisfied with the food they ordered, the restaurant was very quiet and very well organized, the service was exceptional, thank you Restaurant Carpatica , even though you are the best in the west! I really enjoyed the food, which was delicious and authentic, but unfortunately I was disappointed by the decor. I felt that it had lost its Romanian authenticity, as we did not find traditional elements that reminded us of our culture. I would like to see at least a traditional tablecloth, a flag or other details that remind of Romania and create an authentic atmosphere. I think that a complete experience in a Romanian restaurant should also include a suitable decoration. 90% of the ambiance is based on the decor, and that's why I recommend you re-evaluate the interior design to make the customers feel at home. A very good romanian restaurant in Hunslow. A nice place for lunch, dinner and to invite friends. The food is very and in good quantity. If you have a two course lunch you'll be full easily. The restaurant is easy to find, clean, tidy and you don't feel cramped when busy. The staff are welcoming and they speak good English. It doesn't take long for the food to be served. Has a nice vibe and atmosphere. The closest tube station is Hunslow Central.

My boyfriend is Romanian and I've eaten here for the first time because of him and they have mazing food. Love this place. On his birthday they offered us complementary traditional desserts.

90% of the food was salty. Of the 45 food orders, 5 for children were normal, 2 for adults were normal, the rest 38 were salty.

A nice restaurant with delightful food that reminds me of my homeland. The dishes were delicious, and we were warmly welcomed by two friendly staff members. However, there was an anniversary celebration with loud music, making it difficult to have a conversation. I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking to enjoy authentic Romanian cuisine.

Found it very disappointing, the chicken schnitzel was obviously pre cooked then frozen, the french fries just the worst - so limp and soggy. Don’t touch the house red unless u like sweet crap, can’t recommend this place.

The location is nice, lots of nice meals.

The food was so delicious and cooked well and everything was great including the place and the people. My rating is low simply for one reason. My only criticism is that we called ahead to see if they had vegan options and whoever we spoke to doesn't quite understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian, because they didn't have any vegan options at all so I had to have food that was cooked with meat which is fine for me but a lot of vegans would not eat that. It's fine not to have vegan options but don't advertise that you do when you don't as we traveled from East London to get there only to be disappointed. But from a non vegan perspective definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s

Wasn’t as expected.. thought would serve with veggies sides as served at restaurant but did not. But the grilled fish was delicious nicely prepared and fresh fish.

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The Mix grill was delicious and more than enough for two people. I also had a delicious Papanasi for dessert. If you miss the taste from home or you are new to Romanian cuisine and want to try something else throughly recommend this place.

I have lived in a house near this restaurant for 20 years and on Saturday night until 12:30am they were playing very loud music. I'm very glad you're having fun there, I have also eaten at this restaurant many times and I enjoy it, but please turn the music down after 11pm, doesn't have to be turned off, just lower the volume so it's reasonable, it really isn't fair on the people living around this restaurant. Some of us have sick relatives that can't sleep. Please be courteous to your neighbours, it would be really appreciated!

Super atmosfera, am simtit ca vin sarbatorile când am intrat in restaurant ( colinde foarte frumoase), personalul foarte cald, amabil, și recomandarile facute foarte bune! Mancare a fost super bună, cel mai bun gust romanesc, din Londra, Hounslow ! Recomand cu drag! Recomand: Platou țărănesc, Salata de vinete ,Platou Haiducesc, Sărmăluțe!! Multumim ca ne-ați făcut să ne simtim ca acasă!
