Lovely old fashioned pub , great place to have a drink whilst the wife goes shopping

Went to a get a shot, security little Indian men told me the last orders were done, I said I only wanted a shot. He was like no, as we spoke I heard the bell ring for the last orders. So I could have gone in and got a shot. He was very rude and sweared at me. The security working was on shift 13/into 14/ 07/2024. Very rude and so unprofessional!!!!!

Flying horse is located in a beautiful building. The interior is very spectacular. However, was disappointed that they don't serve any food. The beers were rather flat and not cold enough, like it's been sitting for a couple of hours.

Good place to meet up with a friend and a nice atmosphere. Got chatting with people seated nearby. Only downside was my friend nearly had his laptop taken from its case next to the table. Quick reaction saved it and the two blokes who were the likely offenders were already halfway out the door once found out. So, watch your bags here!!

In a busy area a traditional pub. Just had a drink. Had a good relaxed time. But of course I visited some other really fancy historic pubs and compared to them it is only gets 4 stars.

Always a favourite among mates. Staff are a good laugh and the vibe is fun. Definitely a vibe before a night out.

quite a rare gem near tottenham court road station, one of the last traditional places standing. the decor inside is absolutely gorgeous with art decorating wall to ceiling and the bar is quite big so you're sure to find what you're looking for. would recommend if you're in the area!

I recently had a fantastic experience at this pub! There is diverse drink options and the staff's attentiveness and friendliness added to the welcoming atmosphere. The helpful staff made recommendations that elevated my evening. A must-visit for great drinks and a lively ambiance!

Obvious why this pub is empty on a weekday night. It shouldn't be though, it is a one of its kind pub on busy Oxford Street opposite the new Tottenham Court Road tube station. Inexperienced and rude management and staff will be the reason.

Ordered a white wine and soda - soda was flat. Asked to change the order and the staff said ‘the soda is fine, if you want another drink we will have to charge you’. Turns out the customer service was pretty flat too. Don’t visit this place.

super sweet traditional nicholsons pub right near tottenham court rd underground station. they don’t serve food but have an array of nice snacks, LOADS of beers on tap and cool basement bar area that can be rented out. beautiful building with lots of cool history, and lots of room to sit. would recommend if you’re in the area!

Wir haben am 14.12.23 einen Platz für 2 Personen im unteren Bereich zugewiesen bekommen. Gern hätten wir ein Craft Bier trinken wollen, welches uns aber nicht serviert werden konnte, da nur im oberen Bereich erhältlich. Das war schade. Das von uns bestellte Bier war aber auch sehr lecker. Die Bedienung am Tresen war nicht besonders freundlich.

I tried to enter but the guard didnt let me in with no reason and he was even not speaking to me. I will never try to enter again .

Nice pub on Oxford Street. Lack of keg pale ale or IPA but otherwise a good beer selection. Fairly busy on a Saturday as expected but got a table after about 15 minutes

Always visit here when shopping in Oxford Street especially when at Primark. Nicholsons old school style pub. Nice stained glass and roof lantern. Toilets are a bit snug and basic but a welcome refuge from the busy street.

Fantastic place to rest after madness of shopping on the most famous Street in London. All stay there while your better half is shopping 😉 either way, replaced

I had made a booking enquiry for a table for 8 today and i got an email saying that there are tables available but when i called to confirm the booking the man on the phone for very rude, sarcastic and condescending while talking on the phone and refused to give us a table.

Had a couple of pints in here. Was only going to have one but the pub was weird. I love a weird pub. Full of characters. There was a pissed guy shouting and just being ignored by everyone. A dude with a bookies board in his bag was routinely shouted at by people walking past. Don't know what's going on. Don't care. Love it.

Speedy service by on duty barmaids. Beer (Nicholson’s Pale) was in good condition and so we ended up having a second pint each. Lovely interior for a pub in the West End. Beer prices a tad steep but in central London as a visitor, there are expectations that food and drink are sadly poor value for money. Glad I no longer work in London. The hand dryer within the gents did not work. I noticed a PDQ for £2 tips unless I mistaken?

Brilliant experience, no kitchen but great range of drinks and the sport! Great spot by the station to kick back in, team were brilliant and could have a chat. Will be back next time I'm in the area, just a shame about the old British weather! Ruined the view from the window 😄

Lovely spot after a busy days shopping. Nice northern young man helped us pick out wine, suffice to say it was a good choice! Not a big sports fan but there was two different things going on, everybody seemed to be watching the cricket? Not for me No kitchen but had some nibbles so not a problem, will be reccomending to any friends that visit Tottenham Court road

I don't know what it is about the pub that we love,whether it be the Victorian decor,staff,drinks or just the location on the corner opposite Tottenham Court Road Station where you can watch the world rush by when you sit at the open front window?We are just drawn to it on the way to a show or after a day sightseeing .

The pub itself was fabulous.. Full of old English charm... Staff... 2 young women.. not a smile or warm welcome to be seen...2 half lemonade tops was £6.20p.... Pricey.... but wouldn't have minded if the staff could have raised a smile... maybe if they wasn't on their phones they would be able to concentrate on providing good customer service

The pub is nice, however I visited it for the first time on Thursday 23rd January and the two staff members on duty they both were so annoyed to be there that they ignored my presence completely. I left without ordering.

Fantastic pub Camden IPA a fantastic pint

Stopped off here after an early show on a Friday evening. It was very busy to start with, with after work and pre-show drinkers. A traditional London Pub, great beers, friendly staff, good atmosphere and sports shown on 2 screens. Toilets are down a steep staircase in the cellar. There is also the St Giles Bar in the cellar which can be booked for private functions.

I thought this was a great watering hole to visit in central London before me and my partner went across to the dominion theatre opposite. Great selection of beers and ales, and a silly amount of spirits and wines to accommodate most pallets. The best part of our visit was the downstairs bar which we didn’t know existed until we couldn’t find seats upstairs. We found a nice table down there and watched some sport whilst the tunes were on. Great vibe all round. Would pop in here again.

Was there on Saturday which was busy but managed to find a seat. After half an hour I was asked by a member of staff to give my seat up so a group of his friends could sit together. I'm 61 years of age and told I could stand and drink my pint so 30 ish people can sit. Wasn't reserved when I sat down. Disgraceful treatment
