Chef fenomenale! Top davvero carne fantastica, consiglio di intingerla nella farina di manioca per darle la spinta finale

Just goes to show you don’t need Michelin stars or sommeliers to be an outstanding restaurant. Walk in only lunch time. We sat at the counter. Small menu of circa 10 items. Absolutely stunning in every way, quality, taste, visual, first class. Wine reasonable price. Will use this all the time.

There were some great dishes and some not so great. The orange wine we had was great and the staff were welcoming enough, if not overly attentive. Ultimately I felt the dishes were over priced for what they were. The premise of the restaurant is sharing plates which doesn’t really work when the portions are so small

Stunning food, ambience and service. I could eat Flor’s food everyday! I booked us one table upstairs, though next time I’d like to experience the ground floor vibes.

Flor is somewhere that we’ve been wanting to try since before Covid, so we were very much looking forward to our visit. Sadly it fell far short of expectations. A shame as we were there to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived we had to wait 15 minutes as our table was not ready, a disappointing start to the meal. The food was nice but the menu needs a few more substantial plates to balance out the more delicate dishes, and not leave you hungry at the end of the meal! We tried to order more bread to bulk it all out, only to find out they’d run out! Already feeling as if we hadn’t had enough food, we were then told that they’d forgotten one of our dishes we ordered. With a 15 minute league time and having finished the rest of our savoury plates we decided it wasn’t worth the wait. We then ordered our desserts and 5 minutes later the apologetic waitress came back to tell us they didn’t have enough portions left to fill our order! They cobbled together the desserts they did have left, leaving us feeling rather underwhelmed and disappointed by the end of the meal (and still a little hungry!) In summary, overpriced food that underwhelms. With so many great restaurants in London, the experience at Flor was not worth the price it demands. A shame as we’d so much been looking forward to this for a long time!

I've been waiting to connect to the general manager at Flor to discuss this but since they are not reaching out for a follow up after 2 attempts to find convenient time slots for a call, i am writing an honest review here. The atmosphere of the place was nice and the place is not very loud, the ambience is great. The staff are not super helpful - no one asks whether you need any help with the menu and there is a pretty strong arrogance vibe to the staff (at least upstairs). We started by ordering cocktails - and immediately received wrong ones...followed by having to ask for our white wine to be put into a cooler - which was brought right as we had our cocktails and not with our meal as requested. The food was mostly miss than hit (apart from a few really nice dishes like the bread and oysters), the majority of the food was too oily and the seasoning was too overpowering for the dishes we ordered. The best part (or i should say the most disgusting for me), was *hair in one of our dishes*. The waiter just said sorry and took it away - no credit, nothing to make up for the hygiene issue. Just terrible experience, never again.

Ordered a margarita in advance to take away. Turned out I paid £14 for a margarita with no mozzarella. How can you miss that? Especially when you don't even have marinara on your menu. And it doesn't seem to be just one-off as my friend had the same issue, which we realised far too late of course. The dough wasn't amazing, just average, a lot of cheaper places do a better job. I won't go again. Sorry!

Perhaps the ingredients are better quality than any other place to justify 16£ price tag for a pizza . I found pizza to be just above an average and not that special . Service is slow , and it’s not an ASAP pizza.

Been meaning to try Flor for a while so was happy to get a table at the new ASAP pizza. Took 10 mins to realise wasn’t table service, ordered at door but no menus to take to table so had to photograph something taped to the counter. Took about 30 mins for 2 pizzas & one was pretty burnt. Interesting toppings, but £15 for an average sized pizza is a joke esp after having been to Homeslice many times before!

This is about ASAP pizza that they do on Saturdays: really delicious pizza but they were extremely slow on Saturday, despite the fact they only sell two pizza flavours on Saturday we waited over 30 mins for our slices. Not very friendly staff and they refuse to sell whole pizza on Saturday afternoon, and only sell two varieties. I was with 3 other friends and we all wanted 2 slices, one of each. The kitchen turned this into two whole pizzas, however rather than doing the right thing and charging us for two pizza they charged us the Saturday slice price meaning we paid £48 for two small pizzas. In short: delicious but small pizza, extremely slow, and extremely expensive. I wouldn't return.

A Nice and modern restaurant right next to London Bridge Borough Market. It is hip and trendy, but you pay through the nose to eat there. It is trying to recreate the pintxos/tapas atmosphere from Spain and it does this very well. The food is served up in quite small portions and it is very tasty. But it is far too expensive. For example; a small carafe of average wine is £35. A very small plate of fish with a single green leaf is £19. The wife and I had 5 small plates to share. With my carafe the bill came to £139! And I was still very hungry when I left’

Have eaten at Flor more than 10 times now, for both dinner and brunch, and it's by far our favourite place in the market and even in London. The food and service are always top notch, and we like how dinners here are quite healthy as there are so many vegetable and light fish dishes. As fans of natural wines, the list is always fun to experiment with, but a favourite is always one of the natural sparkling wines with brunch.

Stopping for a quick coffee and pastry with my daughter, ordering 2 cappuccinos and pastries. 2 cappuccinos £6 which came in smaller than average cups and were just about luke warm. No chocolate coating and not even offered any sugars. I had pain au chocolat £4 which wasn't as fresh as it should have been, it was rather stale actually and my daughter had fruit danish £4 which was ok. But both served on the smallest saucer ever so it was impossible to cut into the pastries without it flying across the table or making more mess than anyone would have liked. The bill came to £15 incl service. Overpriced for something so average. Wont be returning.

I enjoyed my short visit and introduction to cardoons which are a sort of artichoke/ celery affair. Cardoons were served in a light vegetable broth with butter beans. Apparently cardoons are a right bother to prepare, so I shan’t bother, and will return to Flor for them again. Flor is a small, swish, trendy place for foodies wanting to sample something a bit different. I like it. Service was very attentive and professional.

Really pretentious menu; mostly indecipherable and designed to camouflage the minuscule portions and associated extortionate pricing - e.g. £15 for a few slithers of squid. Small plate of tempura kale £10. If you are expecting a pleasant culinary experience this is definitely NOT the place to visit. I would be amazed if it receives any repeat custom.

Wonderful service. Perfect work atmosphere. The quiet rustle of trains above my head was the wind beneath my wings as I trekked through the working day. Cheeky wine at lunch (don’t tell the boss!) had my buzzing. The friendly staff behind the counter had me feeling welcome and seen - they complimented my wolf cut! Good bit of banter that. Just off a tangent from the high street is a lovely location. Not too busy but enough wandering souls and stories to reinforce the sense of community. Sometimes whenlife quietens down i’m reminded of the lonely nights i endured when my brother ran away with my husband back to Panama. So that’s a bonus! Overall, great time would recommend and will be returning. P.s. tuna melt was a bit dense laid down a brick, would personally give it 3-5 working days.

I had an unpleasant experience at Bar 31 on 18/10/2024. I went there to meet my friend and was waiting for her to finish her work so we could enjoy some drinks . So I took a sit to make sure my friend see where I’m as later we planned to move inside. A lady in a red outfit approached me to ask if I wanted any drinks. I explained that I was waiting for my friend. However, after 20 minutes, she returned and told me that I couldn't sit there without ordering something. I replied that I wouldn’t be drinking anything until my friend arrived. She then gave me a look that made me feel unwelcome, so I decided to wait for my friend outside. We eventually went to another bar, which was a much better experience. Never come back there and wont recommend on my social media.
