Popped in for a cup of tea and a snack. Too late for breakfast, which looked like it had some great options on the menu, so went with a filled sandwich. Beef and horseradish sauce was very good and came with fries. Well priced and the outside space was comfortable with a dog friendly policy. They also have Sunday Roasts available to those seeking more substantial meals on a Sunday, looked worthy of trying if you are hungry.

The welcome at this place is always inviting. The staff are always eager to please. Its better than lunch at home or when you’re visiting a first class chef. The Roast Pork was amazing. The crackling was perfect and the gravy was lush, to coin a phrase! The chef took time out to do a check, rare in many places. The summarise: see you again very soon!

We popped in today for coffee and snacks during market day. The staff were so busy, there were both eat in and takeaway orders being processed. It was crazy busy yet every member of staff was kind, patient and courteous. I was collecting a take away and as I went to leave one of the servers was coming back in, I told them to go ahead of me but they insisted on holding the door open. Great coffee, great snacks and simply wonderful staff and service.

Rude manager who didn't want our custom. I chose to ignore the previous trip advisor comments about the rude manager but clearly I was wrong to. Tried to give a heads up about a large group coming to Flootes for some drinks but was met with rude emails from the owner. So we made the decision to take our custom elsewhere. Will never be visiting.

Freshly made Yorkshire pudding, great real roasted potatoes and beautiful fresh vegetables along with top class gravy. I have visited Flootes a few times this year either with my family or on my own & each time the service has been fab. The front of house team are always friendly & welcoming & the food is great. The full English is excellent value for money £9.50 which includes a hot drink & is deliciously tasty. The coffee is very good but the most fabulous thing is the homemade mince pies (served all year round) they are to die for. I have never tasted mince pies as good as these, give them a try! Dog friendly too, what more could you want? Thank you Flootes, keep up the good work.

Popped in for a coffee one Sunday. We had forgotten our masks but had scarves on so used them . The owner was rude straightaway, told one of us to wait outside as we didn’t have a mask and said we should have as we have known about the mask situation for months! Even though it clearly states as long as you have a face covering it doesn’t matter what it is. He was just generally rude, we won’t be returning and hope that another coffee shops opens nearby so we can go there! Coffee wasn’t even nice....

I’d echo other comments on the site about the owner of this place. My wife tried to make conversation with him about how busy Woburn was and received the comment that it was all tourists and they should stay at home. I asked why he was open and he said he was open for locals (I defy anyone to define that term!). I wondered whether I had accidentally stepped into Royston Vasey. My family have occasionally used this place in the past for coffee, drinks, special occasions and the like, but I was so struck by the total lack of empathy that I won’t be going back....ever.

This was our second visit for a coffee in the last few weeks. First time we went in, the owner wasn’t too friendly on entrance.Today when we popped in again for a couple of coffees, whisky waiting for our coffees to be made, I thought I would make conversation and asked if he had been busy today. I was taken aback by his rude comment ‘I wish people would do what the Government have advised and stay at home’. How very rude. We as a couple, have stuck to the guidelines and went out for a walk on our own, wore a mask and sanitised our hands as we entered his cafe/wine bar, so what was he moaning about! The fact that he was open yesterday as well which was a bank holiday, rather than giving his staff the day off. says it all! Needless to say we won’t be stepping foot in there again!

After a walk around the outskirts of Woburn and the Deer Park we stopped off for a hot coffee to warm up. Could not resist the fatastic homemake bakes on offer in Flootes, all local produce made in house, we settled on enormous fresh out of the oven spicy black pudding and pork sausage rolls with handcut chips ( thick and brown) some steak pies and pork pies. FANTASTIC, what quality, very very highly recommend. Service was friendly and efficient. Warm welcome and we enjoyed the food so much we also bought more pies and cakes to take home, absolutely fantastic light victoria sponge with homemade jam too, it was lovely. I came here with my niece, nephew and boyfriend after a walk in the Deer Park on Sunday. After making sure we wiped our feet before going in. The man behind the counter (middle aged with darkish hair and glasses) informed us that there was no seating available upstairs and that we could sit downstairs but told us we would have to put the light on first. We managed to find a table upstairs round the corner and proceeded to order. We ordered four hot drinks. Unfortunately the two for the adults were lukewarm. The two for the children seemed to be far to much trouble for him to bother with. After much huffing and puffing from the man behind the counter I then asked what cake was available only to be told that most people look at the cakes in the window from the outside. At this point I was running out of patience and just asked him again to tell me what cakes there were. I ordered to pieces of cake. At this point I have four cups and two plates to get to the table. I asked if there was a tray available and was told no. At which point I would have assumed that he would have offered to help me take the items to the table at least. But no, three trips later my already lukewarm drink was now cold. Suffice to say if I did not have two young children with me I would have told him to forget my order and left rather swiftly as I have never come across such a rude person trying to run a business. Appalling, but not cheap service. Do not recommend. I would definitely avoid this place.

Popped in for a lunch, having previously bought a few items to take away. Upstairs was full, so we were waved downstairs. The lights were only switched on once we got down there. They have decorated the cellar, but there were old bread crates stacked up and other general clutter that made it look like we were eating in a storeroom. Drinks arrived quickly, rolls took a little longer, but were not great. My warmed beef & stilton roll was served like it had been made and them microwaved. For too long. My wife had a BLT, and the roll was quite stale. Neither came with any garnish on the plates, and the napkin on mine was soaked with the oil that had run out from the warmed cheese. Half way through, the manager appeared and asked us what we wanted to order?!? Bit bizarre. Not impressed enough to return, sorry.

The sandwich was fairly tasty and had a good amount of filling, but the coffee was very poor. Instant would have had more flavour. Unfortunately, once I had been served the staff appeared to forget I was there and I overheard some most inappropriate 'banter'. When I went to the counter to pay, the female server tried to warn the male server that I was approaching, but not quickly enough for him to be able to hide the vaping implement that he was using behind the counter. I am seriously concerned about this place as they do not seem to be sure about what they are. A champagne bar with a hot counter selling pasties and sausage rolls in the window? We visited for coffee and that was a disappointment as it comes from one of those press button machines and not a barista who knows what he is doing. My partner noticed the so called chef come in from outside wearing hi apron and go straight behind the counter to start preparing food. No hand wash of course! He then scratched his head and picked up a block of cheese with the same hand! The young man serving was also taking money, giving change and straight back to preparing food with not hand wash. There are no handwash facilities behind the counter that I could see so I am not surprised. The owner seems to drift about trying to be the maitre 'd but falling down on the job as he had no idea what we had ordered when I went to pay and the young lad had to correct him. This place has been open for just over 3 months and I will be very surprised if they don't give a customer salmonella before another 3 months has gone past. Drink there if you must but do not touch the food.

Went for coffee, noted the following Chef entered cafe wearing apron and dirty whites, immediately started to prepare sandwich fillings without washing hands. Servers handled food behind counter then money then food again.

We stopped here for a mid-morning coffee and unfortunately came away very disappointed. On arrival we were greeted by an over zealous staff member who made us feel uncomfortable when deciding what to eat. We were the only guests and we sat down in the cosy area to the rear of the property to await our drinks. We were soon joined by a different member of staff and his guest. The original waiter then disappeared and our order was prepared by the second waiter whilst his guest sat like a grumpy teenager playing on her phone and answering his questions in a monosyllabic manner. The drinks and cakes were nothing special and the atmosphere was most definitely uncomfortable. I do not think I will be returning!

Visited this lunchtime with my wife. What a cracking little place. 3 guys were friendly, cheerful and attentive. Food was delicious and plenty of it, the Viccy Sponge was devine. Thanks chaps, we'll be back!

Flootes has been open about 15 weeks, and does eat-in and takeaway lunches from 8:00 AM; plus evenings 'till late'. Despite its small shopfront, it has plenty of space, with seating upstairs and down, and outside both front and back.

Awesome little eatery, fantastic cakes and I've tried them all since they opened. Delicious home made sandwiches and the service is so relaxed personal and friendly. I love it here one of my favourite places.

We visited on Friday for an evening meal. Really enjoyed the shepherds pie and chicken as well as the triple cooked chips. We were very impressed by the knowledgeable staff with regards to the wines and they were really friendly. We are looking forward to attending some themed evenings and the wine / champagne tasting. We will definitely be back.

Just discovered this place last weekend. Woburn has been a useful lunch stop for us in the past. I have found Woburn fairly expensive and mediocre where food is concerned. This time we happened on Flootes which has changed my mind! The words "homemade" and "scotch egg" and "£3.80" with mayonnaise lured us in. My husband had a fantastic sandwich for the same price. The staff were great, personable and obviously good at what they do. The champagne sounded amazing so I bought some. This place does wine tastings too. A happy discovery! We popped in on Friday and back on Monday. We shall be back!

I don't normally write on theses sorts of sites, but I feel I have too. I totally disagree with kmun3165. I also visited Flootes that day, as well as many visits in the past. The place was packed and buzzing. Service was still good and food as fab as usual . The boys were worked off their feet. So you have to allow for a few errors . Maybe you should have taken this into account and given them some slack. The cups are perfect and they are not a tea room. And I don't think Alan Sugar would be too pleased with the apprentice jibe. If there was a problem then why didn't you say something, you didn't moan about your partners cake, As about the price have you been to Frosts lately !!! We should embrace these guys in what they are trying to achieve not slate them, Over a petty thing.

What a lovely gem of a pub. Very friendly pub in a lovely little Bedfordshire village! We were here today for a Sunday roast and after eating out at more expensive restaurants in the area and being disappointed by their high prices and average food, this was on another level, it was beautiful!! Everything was freshly cooked and home mad at a very reasonable price. Shall definitely be returning.😁

This place could be amazing but it is lacking atmosphere and the food is very ordinary. It needs a total overhaul. Everything feels dated and they need to look at other restaurants/brasseries in other area. It always seems half empty. Wouldn't go back again.

The staff were pleasant and the food was fine but oh so slow! From the time we arrived we were waiting at every stage. Waiting to be seated, there was no one in sight. Eventually we were shown to our seats and waited again for someone to take our order, waited again and, after being there over 30 minutes, our tea and coffee arrived, but no milk. The coffee was fine but the tea wasn’t hot, but drinkable as long as I drank it straight down. Another long wait for sandwiches and again a wait for cakes. I would have preferred everything to arrive at once so that I could decide how long to take to eat them. As it was we were there over 2 hours and I was bored. I would hate to be there if it was full as today less than half the tables were taken. Not the best experience of afternoon tea I’m afraid.

Stopped in for a tea, coffee and scone for the first time this weekend as we happened to drive past. It was all lovely and reasonably priced. However it is disappointing that a venue in such a prime countryside location doesn’t at least allow dogs inside somewhere. I imagine their foot traffic would increase substantially if dog walkers could come in for a post/pre walk refreshment.
