Flint House Reigate in Reigate and Banstead

I wish I knew about this place before. I be been a few times and had different menu options. I’ve yet to be disappointed and will adopt it as my go to lunch spot. The Reigate Scotch egg breakfast was authentic , good ingredients and flavourful. The coffee ( cuppa chino) could be in bigger mugs to dilute the strength of the coffee , but otherwise good .

The food was extremely greasy and lacking in flavour. Service was more of a ‘you have to ask to get’. Nobody asked how the meal was, cleared our table and when paying the lady entered the details for card payment and walked away! I would not recommend

Dined here because it was an independent cafe and the fact they had a Scotch egg breakfast where they make their own scotch eggs. Unfortunately they were sold out so ordered the boiled egg and soldiers and Reuben sandwich. We were told the Scotch eggs were sold out when ordering but the couple next to use only found out when the breakfast was brought to their table and replaced with something else. Sadly we are in a Sourdough era where everything served is sourdough. I'm not old but I wonder if the elderly generation who were brought up on toast enjoy sinking their teeth in this. The only fortunate thing was that the sourdough was supplied from Chalk Hill farms a local bakery. Other than that, food was good. Since it was sourdough, you can expect the usual crunchy chewy textures and the distinctive taste.

Lovely spot in central Reigate, welcoming and serving an ace menu! My favourites are the Buddha Bowl and the Full Veggie or Full Reigate breakfasts. Fab range of coffees. Great service with a smile and feels very homey… thank you!

My daughter and I visited for the first time on a Sunday morning. The first good sign was that it was very busy so we wondered if we would be able to get seated. We were greeted by a lovely server who suggested we sat outside with a coffee and she would come and get us when a table became free. We didn’t have to wait long before we were seated and able to order. The vibe inside is relaxed and friendly and we quickly received our food which was tasty and plentiful. Although they were busy we didn’t feel rushed - top marks to the server who could have just told us they were full but went the extra mile to accommodate us. We will be back.

We started to explore cafes and restaurants for brunch in Reigate about a year ago when we dropped our dog at the groomers and had some spare time. Flint House is our favourite place to stop for brunch by far. The staff are lovely and very attentive. I’ve had the ‘Full Veggie’ which is delicious but if you’re not vegetarian or vegan I highly recommend the ‘Full Reigate’. The scotch egg is amazing.

Popped in here for a coffee last month and decided to come back for brunch now. Ordered the scrambled eggs on sourdough with salmon, and full veggie. Both items were superb. The scrambled eggs rich, and salmon fresh. The full veggie was unbelievably good especially the Halloumi and fritters.

Very friendly environment to come in a summer time with friends. I do totally recommend this place.

We both had the cinnamon bun French toast and bacon, it was delicious! Service was also great, and staff were really friendly.

I had the cinnamon roll toast and bacon for breakfast and I can honestly say it was the nicest cooked breakfast I’ve ever had. Highly recommend it as you’d need to try it to see how good it tastes. Service was great too. It’s a lovely independent traditional cafe where I much prefer taking my business than big corporate soulless cafés like Costa. Thank you I’ll be back!

I was celebrating 100 parkruns and several friends had travelled to join me. I was asked to choose somewhere for breakfast after. The rain was torrential and we were cold. We were sat at a table and quickly served piping hot drinks. We all commented how nice it was to have hot drinks instead of lukewarm coffees. We ordered full Reigate breakfasts and a veggie. The meat eaters commented how much bacon was served and the scotch eggs were perfectly cooked. The veggie breakfast was lovely. Plentiful, hot and filling. We wanted to pay separately. Not a problem. Nothing was too much trouble and all my friends said best post parkrun breakfast yet.

Stopped in for breakfast, which was delicious and very reasonably priced. I wouldn’t normally write a review but the scotch egg in the full English breakfast was incredible. Couldn’t recommend enough, such a good idea and tasted amazing

Me and my husband enjoyed our breakfast meal today. Certainly a highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy a great meal and fantastic coffee. Service was excellent and I will be visiting this place again.

As a party of eight we attended a Friday evening POP up event. Great food (very generous portions and the dessert was so amazing it deserves a special mention) and drink (cocktails before was fab) and a lovely atmosphere.

We went to a Flinty Friday dinner evening with friends and had a wonderful time- the food was delicious and portions were really generous. We loved the cocktails beforehand and the service was brilliant, with our allergy requests being easily accommodated. We will return!

Absolutely cracking breakfast at this super restaurant. Excellent produce used in the Full Reigate but the star of the plate was the house special scotch egg, totally delicious with perfect runny yoke. Our first visit to Flint House but won’t be our last. Looking forward...
