Called here for lunch. Jacket potato £10 plus £1 for filling. I ordered one with Tuna mayo - the potato skin was hard and inedible, the tuna mayo was ok. Hubby had ham and cheese panini, he said it was very bland. £31 for these with a soft drink each. We waited to speak to someone but they were busy and hubby wasn’t feeling well. The cakes served to the people on the next table looked lovely. We won’t be returning nor do we recommend.

Now called Dotty’s. Very small portions that left me hungry! A disappointing quiche salad lunch cost about £12. The tea was weak even after 10 minutes brewing. The drinks were delivered fairly quickly but the food took about 40 minutes although the cafe wasn’t that busy. I won’t be returning.

Eaten here many times but noticed it has changed to Dotty’s when we popped in today ordered 2 drinks and 2 cakes. Cakes were already in the counter so no preparation required. Waited 20 for a cup of tea and hot chocolate to be brought over. Then a further 10 minutes for our 2 slices of cake, we were about to leave when the cake was brought over. My husband did mention the wait but no apology at all. If the staff focused more on the customers and less time having personal conversations the service would be better

A first visit to any food place is always a journey into the unknown, especially when one is tired from a 200 mile drive that began at 3 o'clock in the morning. Café Fleur in Cornwalls idyllic seaside town of Looe, treated us to the very best in a lunchtime treat for a family party of six, mum, dad, two grandsons, nanny & grandad. Their table service was prompt, professional and wonderfully cheerful. Our order taken, the drinks followed with barely a pause to be closely followed by our Lemon Meringue. I have never before had occasion to rave about a Lemon Meringue... until now. Holy Lord, but it was great and we can't wait for the rest of the week to sample the rest of the excellent fare.

I was was served by a lovely lady who offered to warm it up too. I must say it is one of the loveliest cheese scones I have tasted in a while. Had it with a coffee al fresco on my caravan decking at Looe Bay. Sadly when I called in a few days later to buy another one they were only taking cash which I didn’t have! I will have to wait again now until I am back in Looe again to get my cheese scone fix LOL.

Please ignore the extremely stupid and illiterate review below. Chris and her staff are always helpful, polite and friendly - and do a tough job during these times. I hope that woman and her family never sets foot in Cafe Fleur, in Looe and in Cornwall again. The staff are always lovely, the food delicious AND locals and visitors know that it's a SAFE PLACE to visit because the staff do their job to stop idiots without masks coming in. Food is home cooked (on the premises), homity pie is glorious and the lemon meringue pie is second to none. As a local, I can't say this enough, CAFE FLEUR IS GREAT. I go there at least once a week.

Hmm, popped in here fo lunch with a friend. I’m a local & work in the hospitality business myself. I filter water to make tea But clearly the water wasn’t filtered as the tea had a metallic taste to it. The breakfast was extremely average. One sausage one piece of bacon one piece of bread and egg and a few mushrooms total cost £8.50. Really! I can’t say that the hospitality was that while coming either, although we are still under some restrictions the waitress that served us was less than friendly. The toilets weren’t working. I didn't eat food here so can't comment on that but omg the iced coffee is to die for! If you're a fan of iced coffee you seriously need to try this, it's made with ice cream and topped with whipped cream and a littl chocolate. I had a big scoop of ice cream left floating on the top of it, so good!! And what's more of a bonus is the wooden spoons, was very impressed with this.

Nice little cafe, friendly staff however couple of issues. After asking for extra beans on my breakfast received a pitiful amount which was the same size if not smaller than my partners (who didn’t ask for extra). I asked if the orange juice was smooth and the waitress said yes, turned up and it had bits. Not a huge issue but if you ask and they say it’s smooth, you’d kind of expect that. Also had a glass of water and lipstick mark on rim. Partner had full English and enjoyed all of it. Maybe this is just a personal review as I said friendly staff and nice location.

In with a group and we were all served fairly quickly. Service was quick. Food was fairly basic but ok. It was a bit expensive for what we had.

We had a lovely breakfast here. Service was friendly and quick. Very extensive menu which is always a plus especially for picky eaters. Also noted they have a good gluten free/vegan menu.

Found this delightful upstairs cafe by chance and had some of the best vegetarian food for a long time. We were made very welcome and chose the hummus bowl and roasted veg toasted sandwich. Both were excellent and very filling.

the only place open on a Sunday on St Martins! So glad it was open, it was absolutely heaving but we got there in time to get seats and what was left of the cakes and drinks.

I've only ever called in for a beer but no complaints so far and staff are nice too. There's a big beer garden which is very useful for the kids and dogs.
