Although a busy Saturday evening the staff were very accommodating and managed to fit us in for a meal. Delicious food, reasonably priced and friendly staff.

This pub is immense. There’s a great choice of local ales, the usual draught suspects and a comprehensive wine list. The Camra 2024 Pub of the Year award for north Wiltshire is very well deserved. A very dog friendly environment, but with such a unique layout and style, if that’s not your thing, they’ll be a booth for you. The staff are all so attentive, polite, friendly and professional. This is typified by Evie, daughter of Trina, the landlady. She runs the front of house operations with a competence, efficiency and confidence that belies her age. The food is nothing short of fantastic. A classic pub menu, that is all locally sourced and delicious, is supplemented by an ever changing specials board, with fresh fish, veggie options and more. Steak night Tuesday, pie and a pint night on Thursdays are a definite highlight. I wish I lived closer. Considering I live on the edge of the New Forest, where we’re not short of good pubs, this is my favourite place to be. A real gem and well worth a visit.

Proper old English pub - wood panelled . Nice staff, great food, large selection of real ales and beers. We only stopped for a bite, so I just had a sausage sandwich and a pint - but world class sausages. The food others had looked really good. Unfortunately it was the last day of our holiday or we would have gone in the evening

With it tipping with unseasonal rain outside we escaped to this local pub. And we're so glad we did. Lunch was fantastic - a delicious and hearty homemade fish pie and fresh sea bass with sauteed potatoes and samphire. Washed down with four pints of excellent Weston cider. The bill came to a very reasonable £54 and worth every penny. The staff were excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable. And the club itself is a real looker. Straight out of central casting as the ideal quirky old country tavern. We spent a very relaxing couple of hours and even the skies had cleared when we left. Highly recommended.

I have never yet written a negative review of any of the hundreds of cafes, bars and restaurants I have visited over the years. If the food or service is not to my taste, which is very rare I just don’t return. However during a visit to check out a family recommendation for a meal the next week I tried to order, as I always do, a simple black coffee with slightly less water (I have yet to find a barista or a machine incapable of this) To my amazement the young lady flatly refused to try saying it wasn’t possible. So we went elsewhere. Still wonder if I dreamt it.

We really like this pub but sadly the food offerings on the night we ate there were poor. There was a good selection of beer on the taps and the building itself is eclectic and interesting. Staff were attentive and helpful. But the food let everything down. The fish and chips were awful. Over-cooked and quite clearly pre-cooked the flesh of the fish was grey and oily and the chips, the thin, frozen catering variety had also obviously been resting under a heat lamp for some time. Bangers and mash was not much better. Good sausages from the local butcher but resting on this weird, piped watery mash instead of fluffy potatoes. It was drowning in a tsunami of catering gravy. It's a shame because other than the food which I'm sure is probably variable it's a delightful pub.

If you want the quintessential English pub experience, I recommend The Flemish Weaver. Firstly the building is old and beautiful, and full of fascinating nooks and crannies, old photos etc. It has a nice quiet garden out the back, and benches with umbrellas at the front if you prefer to watch Corsham High Street go by (including free-ranging peacocks from nearby Corsham Court). It has a good selection of West Country ales. Service is very friendly and helpful. The food may read like basic pub grub (burgers, fish and chips etc.) but the day I went they also had a good special board featuring a salmon dish and a lemon sole dish. I had the salmon with a creamy leek sauce and it was delicious. My friend had the burger which again was a cut above the normal pub 'fayre'. It's not hip or full of beautiful people - if you want that go to the Methuen Arms down the road - but it is heartwarmingly trad in the best sense. Keep up the good work !

We visited the Flemish Weaver for lunch. A great buzzing atmosphere on entering, busy on a February midweek lunchtime. The tables are in nooks and crannies with a bar at the back where the incredibly hard working barkeep/ waitress welcomes you with smiles. Orders were taken at the table. Good selection of wines and beers. Good selection on the menu as well as specials board. We had a whole plaice off the specials and a Venison bacon pie as a selection of the pies on the day. Both were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable. We will be back!

We’d booked Sunday lunch for 10 adults and a child, choosing the Flemish Weaver because its Sunday menu went beyond the usual pub roast. They went out of their way to set up a great table for us; the food and the drinks were excellent; and the service at a busy lunchtime was outstanding - friendly and prompt. It all made for a great occasion.

A menu to suit all whether it be a sandwich or meal. Hubby and I shared whitebait for a starter and then I had tuna. The tuna was so tender, not overcooked like I have had in other places, served with capers, olives and tomatoes which went really well together. It was so filling I could only manage 5 fries, highly recommended and we will be returning.

A roomy and very quirky historic pub with pots hanging from the ceiling along with the fairy lights, corrugated iron partitions and lots of beams. It's crazy but it works well. What a lovely little pub! We had a great lunch on Easter Saturday at the Weaver. The pub is traditional in how it appears and the menu follows suit. So what you see, it's absolutely what you get. Can't remember the last time I found traditional steak & kidney pie on a pub menu, and its was great! My wife had Hake with a herb crust which was also perfectly cooked. Service was friendly, genuine and relaxed. The bar has a great selection of well kept beers and wines. What I love the most is the pubs authenticity, it know what it is and does that extremely well. Not a foam Velouté or micro herb in sight! Highly recommended and shall make a point to return soon. Many thanks.

Our first anticipated trip to the Flemish weaver was not a disappointment , from the warm friendly welcome to the cosy quirkiness of the little boothed tables was immediately overwhelmed by the atmosphere and ambience this little gem has to offer . The staff are extremely friendly , professional and efficient and the food was an absolute delight . Creamy mushrooms with garlic bread to start followed by pheasant , partridge and Stilton pot pie which was perfectly cooked , perfectly seasoned and the most delicious food I have eaten out in a long while . We shared a baked Alaska for dessert which was heavenly and washed it all down with a reasonably priced bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc .I have worked in this industry for many years and although I try not too, I can be quite critical when dining out in other establishments , however there is nothing I can fault on my visit to this establishment . My only concern would be that we were not able to add a tip on our card payment , we did manage to scrape a little cash between us to leave for the staff , but during times like this when people aren’t using cash so much , I fear your amazing staff maybe missing out on well deserved tips . Cannot wait to return soon and recommend to family and friends .

And I just love the quirkinesses with so many interesting things on the walls and a fantastic beer garden split into alcoves complete with heaters, cushions and rugs to keep cosy on a chilly day.We moved to Corsham a couple of years ago and came here for a drink to check the place out. It was a Sunday afternoon and we enjoyed playing cards using packs left on the tables and we were told to help ourselves to Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and gravy on the bar left over from lunch. We returned for the best roast dinner ever, which we then had as takeaway during lockdown. We’ve brought family and friends here and all have been blown away. Last weekend was our neighbour’s birthday and she’d never experienced The Flemish Weaver before so we booked a table to celebrate. She had the best time! The food was insanely good (although gutted that the pie had sold out again!) and our waiter Aaron was absolutely brilliant. A very cosy, quirky pub with wonderful food and good cider. The service is excellent. We visited on a cold winter's day and were able to thaw out by the wood fires.

This place is a hidden gem. It's a lovely, quirky little pub with an absolutely fabulous beer garden, dogs are welcome (and until recently, the local cat from the florist, who sadly bid us adieu), and the food is consistently excellent, with generous portions, often two sizes of meal offered (reg and large) and a mouth-watering array of special salads during the summer. The gin bar is par excellence, as is the beer list. But what REALLY makes this place are the lovely, wonderful, kind chaps who run the place. Thoroughly decent human beings who will always try to go the extra mile for you. Popular with students and tutors from the MA in Creative Writing programme at Bath Spa Uni, many a good time has been had here after workshops. But how the lads have pulled the community together during Coronavirus is just really very special. They've done weekly takeaway roasts, and the odd special dinner like the amazing fried chicken feast, and Pie Night which went to charity. They've also supported the NHS key workers and social care frontline with free meals during the pandemic. All in all a much-loved community venue with some of the best food and drink in Wiltshire, and a quirky, welcoming, fabulous ambience. Let's all do our best to keep them going after Lockdown ends. They deserve every success.

Prior to Lockdown we had many a delicious meal at the FW. Since Lockdown we have enjoyed take away pizza, fish and chips, fabulous fund raiser Pie and Mash and many (too many to own up to!) Sunday Roasts. All the food has been outstanding in flavour, quality and price and have made our Lockdown weekends so much better! The service is phenomenal- the staff are really quick to respond to messages and the routine at the point of collection is exemplary and always with a smile. I thoroughly recommend any meal that the FW offer - too good to miss!

I haven't wanted to make the effort to review anywhere for a while as there hasn't been much worth writing about recently... However, I collected a take away roast dinner for my son and I from here today, and I cannot believe just how good it was! Everything, from the organisation of the socially-distanced collection point, the super friendly and polite guy who served us, right down to the quality of the food and generous portion sizes. And all for a remarkably reasonable price! I would have paid a lot more for what we had today. The food was red hot, well packaged, beautifully cooked and so tasty. I am a really hard person to please when it comes to roast dinners and this one really hit the spot! The chocolate sponge pudding we had for afters was also lovely (although I really wouldve preferred custard as opposed to cream as an accompaniment but that's just personal preference).10/10 guys, keep up the good work! We'll be back for another very soon!

For several weeks my elderly parents have had fabulous Sunday lunches delivered from The Flemish Weaver, by a charming young lady, Megan. Today was no exception. However, the big difference today was that the meal was free of charge!Via a recent fundraiser the pub raised £1400 which was split equally between Wiltshire Air Ambulance and NHS, careworkers and the vulnerable.Thank you all for your wonderful work and generosity!

Terrible place, the greens are shocking, no car taken care of. Me and my friends came to play with no. Experience just to take our time . After 2 hours a man came in a van and started shouting at us for taking too long, not to mention we were the only people on the course, he was trying to make us pay for a club that was already broken. I would NOT recommend!!!

Very expensive for what you get. Poor music choice. Generally unhelpful service. We went to the Horse and Groom in Westbury the next day and couldn’t have a table. Duke, get real and wake up to reality, your livelihood relies on people…

Arrived expecting to find a pub and found it had changed hands two weeks earlier and reopened as an Indian restaurant - we were obviously among the very first customers! We were given a warm welcome, the food was absolutely excellent and the service attentive. I would highly recommend the Goan fish curry, mild and deliciously seasoned.
