Flavour Of Asia in Weymouth and Portland

Food was great quality. Deliver took a while but we ordered on a busy night so it’s fair.

unfortunately we have no issues but this time the curries had hardly any flavor to them

was told delivery would be an hour absolutely no problem for a Friday 1 hour 20 later get a message to say another 20 mins carbed my diabetic daughter and waited 2 h0irs later food arrives cold and my daughter is in a hypo requiring medical treatment!! tried calling no answer

I’ve ordered from this place more times than I can count! You do generally wait slightly longer to most but trust me when I say it’s worth the wait. This is definitely one of my favourite places to order! 100/10!

Tasty takeaway. Bonuses if you spend over £20 and collect. Plan well ahead or you may have to wait 45 mins at busy times.

haven't got our order an hour after it was "delivered"

Completely forgot our online order, couldn't place order by phone, they can never cope when it gets busy. We are a loyal customer who wont be ordering ever again.

Probably the best curry around but sadly the ordering time to delivery time has been over 2 hours on all 4 occasions after being told 45 minutes every time . A real shame and a real let down and have decided to try elsewhere

Delivery was over 20 mins late, and app wasn’t updated at any point so we didn’t know when it would arrive. Also we were short of a portion of onion bhaji. Shame as food was very nice.

it's not thar it was 5 mins late. its that it took over 1 hour and 20 mins to deliver when I live a 6 minutes drive away....

not being funny, said 45 minutes 3 hours ago, went down to ask about an hour and a half in said 20 minutes, then proceeded to wait another hour and a half for it to finally turn up 18:58-22:13 we waited good food, definetely not worth a 3 hour wait

Now waiting almost 2 hours and counting for food. Called twice and was told ten minutes each time

Food is very good but service is lacking. Third time unlucky for us so no more orders from us. We had people over for dinner, ordered lots of food. 2 Birianis that come with vegetable curry. Both were missing the veg curries and dinner almost finished before they arrived. Second time was missing a Nan bread, they said would be sent straight out. We had finished our dinner for over 10mins before it arrived. Third time, first on the telephone to order when they opened. Over an hour later, we phoned to see where it was and were told they were waiting for the delivery driver to come back. So angry, it means they were delivering others food first even though we were first to order. They said is would be another 15/ 20 mins. We cancelled order. Very poor service. My advice, the food is lovely but go in person and wait for it. Oh and double check all items are in bag before you leave.

Best curry I have had in years. A great discovery. We ordered the menu for four people, loads of food, loads of variety, and every dish absolutely delicious.

Had my first Indian from here a couple of weeks ago, really good, highly recommend; just a takeaway so can't really rave about the atmosphere but staff polite and helpful; give it a go you won't be dissapointed

Ordered takeout (delivered) saidup to 45 mins. It took 1hour 25mins. Apart from that food was delicious and hot on arrival.

Well, haven’t had a take away from here for several months due to continuous errors and poor taste. Gave it another go tonight and still disappointed ☹️…. Food luke warm & missing food. Rang them and they realised a naan was missing, so they will deliver, 30 minutes later we had a naan bread delivered….. I ordered online for collection and I even put a note on the order saying “CHECK ORDER BEFORE COLLECTION “ well that didn’t work…… so NO more Indian for us from Flavour of Asia

Food arrived 3 hrs after ordering and 40 mins after arranged delivery required time. Tried to call on both numbers several times, but no answer. Delivery driver, when asked why no one answering phone, told me they were too busy to take calls!!!! Food was stone cold, meat chewy and some of the delivery items were missing. No point calling to chase, as they were not answering the phone!!!! Try elsewhere. Not worth the wait or the money. UPDATE since writing review. 9.30pm (3rd feb 2023). Owner (Rashid) has just called to ask if I will take down review as he is away from the business for a week. I explained that we had to order food elsewhere as we didn't know if the order was coming due to phones not being answered. He said delivery driver shouldn't have said the phones were being ignored and offered me a £20 voucher to remove I refused, which he didn't like. He also agreed that items missing should have been with my order. Not professional to call me, agree with my disgruntlement, tell me the delivery driver shouldn't have told me about the phones being ignored, and ask remove the review for a voucher.

4 hrs it tool to arrive. Never order on a Saturday if you want to eat at a decent time.

Food fantastic, delivery absolutely shocking, well over 45mins and was borderline cold when it arrived! I picked it up myself the next time and food was lovely and toasty when I got home !

Waited for 2.5hrs for the delivery. Phoned twice and was told that the order will be with me in the next 10-20 minutes, it was not. Food was cold and very mediocre. Chutneys were also missing from the order. Very disappointing. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered for collection and was ready bang on time. Chicken Tikka Korai and Garlic Balti Chicken were top notch, thick sauce, very tasty and plenty of it, we're full! 👍

I paid £5 for a delivery from your company and they never delivered it! The curry house delivered it 2 hours later. I’d like a full refund for my delivery please. Stuart Mitchell

Food is very bland, they use tinned vegetables, delivery takes ages and sometimes doesn’t even turn up. Won’t be using them again, it’s a shame they’re the only Indian takeaway on the island at the moment, I’ll have to drive over to town to get my Indian food. I’ve heard there’s another Indian takeaway about to open on the island, the sooner the better because flavour of Asia is no good. Avoid this place!

We ordered a takeaway had to cancel as took over 2 hours and said it was on it’s way and it wasn’t. Phoned 2 times . Absolutely disgraceful

Well, we ordered a takeaway at 18:28hrs for delivery with a maximum delivery time of 45 minutes (19:15hrs). After 3nr phone calls our delivery arrived at 20:55hrs! Takeaway delivered by a blacked out BMW with the driver saying we stated the wrong address!! To be honest the food was okay but the service, false promises on delivery times etc gives a very low score

Food was great and delivered on time

Waited over 2 hours for delivery of our order, didn’t get the best service when called to ask where it was. When it turned up we were missing part of the order, when we called them they said that we were far away to correct (3 miles) but still they didn’t sort our issue. Food wasn’t to bad, was nice if we had all that we ordered! My suggestion is only to pick up from them otherwise you may be disappointed.

The Curries are absolutely delicious! It was that good we had to order twice in a row during our stay in Portland. Decent prices and they even threw in extra’s for us. Friendly service, highly recommend 🤝🏻

Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal. Lots of options in the menu too. The house we were staying in wasn’t easy to find but the delivery person got here ahead of the quotes time.

Tried again tonight 08.04.23 food was amazing. Good sized portions. Fairly quick delivery and they take paypal. Missing items on a home delivery otherwise food was ok. Naan bread however was fantastic. Will try again as they may have been busy that's why items were missed.

We order from flavour of asia .garlic chilli chicken chicken tikka jalfrezi,butter chicken,mushrooms Rice, starters, papadums everything was delicious. We ate amazing food after a long time, the owner was very nice and polite highly recommended flavour of asia We will definitely order again when our next visit portland

Nice food, but extremely salty vindaloo, chips were awful and though the order was over 20 pounds there was no onion bhajis. The salt, seriously.

Took 2 hours to deliver, came cold and missing pretty much it all

Very disappointed with the vegetarian options. All the curries delivered had too much onion, awful frozen veg mix sweetcorn, peas, carrots, green beans. This is not imaginative and a lot of money for a meal with no thought. I have eaten in many wonderful Indian restaurants that serve vegetarian curry with courgettes, aubergines, okra, brocoli, cauliflower proper fresh vegetables.Naan was not fresh and rubbery. The delivery also took too long. Sadly I will not be ordering again.

We have used Flavour of Asia, usually when our son returns from University, and it is also amazing. I would throughly recommend it.

We like to order from here at least once a month. The food is always amazing, always hot, loads of meat and delivery is fast. I wouldn't go anywhere else for an Indian! Staff are always very friendly and helpful.

We came down to Portland for the weekend and wanted to get a takeaway. We found this place from Google and read the positive reviews - so decided to order. Food was really nice and tasty!

Nothing against the food its always ace. But if you order please go and collect it. We ordered for delivery and we have waited over two and a half hours for it. Rang a fair few times. They say they only have one driver.. don't offer delivery for 45mins to an hour if you can't meet them requirements.
