I tried to do a telephone order about an hour ago and the woman I spoke to was so rude. I won't be spending my money there again.

I've been ordering from this place for a while and although the deliveries have often been late as stated by other reviewers, I've overlooked this because the food is really authentic and tastes great. Today I ordered again and they had the fried chicken my mum wanted but not the jerk chicken I was craving. Checked again when her delivery came and was pleasantly surprised to see that the jerk chicken was available again so I naturally placed another order. I then called the restaurant to clarify a dietary requirement and was abruptly told that I would have to wait until someone else from my area ordered because it was a "long way to travel" and they obviously could not tell me how long that would be. Quite ridiculous considering there's a delivery charge and Google Maps states the journey, with current traffic, is 14 minutes. At that point I couldn't be asked to wait for God knows how long so I asked them to cancel the order. Super disappointed that as a paying customer I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them by simply placing an order and supporting their business. If my area is too far then maybe they need to reevaluate which postcodes they're willing to accept orders from to avoid needless disappointment. Bottom line: The food is undoubtedly some of the best Caribbean food I've had in London but the service (or lack thereof) leaves much to be desired.

They have a very low food hygiene rating! The steamed cabbage is literally steamed with no flavour carrots or peppers or anything really... the mac n cheese was literally pasta and grated cheese. The male owner of the company is very rude and aggressive when questioned on his food hygiene rating. Would never return unless he was open to a customer service lesson... or a day of showing him and the chefs how to deliver Caribbean food in general.

Honestly the worst ‘Caribbean’ food I’ve had. Ordered curry goat, rice n peas with Mac n cheese n plantain 2 days ago and I’ve been sick ever since. The curry goat didn’t even look like curry goat, it looked like struggle goat and had ONE tiny bit of potato in it. Very watery and tasteless. The rice n peas was dry, definitely microwaved. The plantain was soggy. The Mac n cheese was made with penne pasta, who on earth makes Mac n cheese with penne pasta. Overall -100/10. I’ve been constantly sick at both ends of my spectrum without getting into too much detail and have reported them to Harrow Council FSA. 2 days on and I’m still suffering, something needs serious inspecting.

I will never order from here again. 1st my order was over half an hour late. 2nd when the food did arrive the portions where disgustingly small. I order my daughter a brown stew chicken with hard food small that was what i expected (1 piece of chicken 1dumpling 1 potato 1 piece of yam half a peice of green banana) veg was missed and In one container. I had a medium brown stew chicken with rice n peas and veg, I got a teaspoon of veg and 2 prices of chicken with my rice n one Chinese sized container. Finally my partner had a large oxtail with hard food which also came in one Chinese sized container the exact same amount of hard food which was in the small chicken and 6 pieces of oxtail with a teaspoon of veg may I add as my partner was putting the food on the plate he found hair in it so he didnt eat it. Terrible experience I would not recommend to anyone

Food was good but portion was small. The lady that served me was super friendly. I had a medium jerk chicken, rice and peas which came all in one container that was slightly deeper than a standard clear plastic container from a Chinese takeaway. For the price I was charged, I was expecting a heartier portion.

The food is amazing, we have spent a long time trying to find a good Caribbean place to order from and Jam N Spice is the one. The food has been spot on and consistent every time, the food turns up really quickly and is piping hot, unlike most other Caribbean places we have got a delivery from. Keep up the good work and cant wait until our next order.

Ordered curry mutton rice and peas and plantain. Food came smelled off sweaty and stale like it had been sitting out for a day and plantain tasted like the chemicals used to clean the oven. Phoned to inform rather than write a bad review and was told the manger would ring back to resolve the issue. Never had any kind of call or any good will gesture. I will most definitely not be ordering from here again. For authentic tasty clean carribean food...pumpkin kitchen wealdstone and Roy's in ruslip

Excellent sized portion of curry mutton ,rice and peas, the salt fish dumpling was so tasty. Both ladies were really friendly and chatty. I've missed Jamaican food since I left Harlesden, so glad I found this place, I was craving it for ages .

I made my first order from Jam n Spice and was a little apprehensive as Caribbean restaurants have a reputation of not providing good customer service or small food portions that are overpriced. I called and got the opposite to what I was expecting, a nice friendly warm voice waiting to take my order. Everything was confirmed to avoid errors by the end of the call and the food arrived earlier within the time scale. I was so impressed with the presentation, temperature and most importantly the TASTE! I will definitely be ordering again (considering I've been around the corner from the shop for years)! Thanks for great food and ample portions :-)

AT first I was reluctant after a friend told me about Jam n Spice, because i thought it was just a name change. However, massive improvement from the previous. also One thing that strikes me that you don't not get in carribean restaurants is the friendliness of the staff. That alone is enough. I been looking forward to a carribean shop in Harrow that sells good food. So yes, I'm impressed and will be a regular for those days when you want to do nothing. Loving the soups right now. No complaints so far..

Very well kept and convenient spot. They serve large portions and for economical prices. We loved the meals a lot and the staff members were super personal and chatty. Highly recommended.

DO NOT ORDER. Worst food ever Mac and cheese was more like overcooked pasta with a sprinkle of cheese. Who has ever had curry goat without any curry flavour, not me until now. Rice and Peas where you can count the peas. They should be ashamed to call themselves 'Jam and Spice' better name would be 'cant cook'. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID. They will sell you food they do not have and cuss you when you want the money back for the item. Disgusting customer service. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

This restaurant is the one I like best. I go to many restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The stuff is very warm and the food they serve is so tasty. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner here. I highly recommend this place.

Their Mac n Cheese was so bland and awful. Honestly tasted like nothing. It was pasta shells with sprinkled cheese that was put in the microwave. I wish I had read the other review that also provided the picture. Only three stars because of punctuality and the Jerk chicken was okay. Nothing special but edible. Not sure what happened to the coleslaw that is in the description-it never came ?!

Honestly dont know where to start. We ordered via uber eats. It was £36...thank goodness we had a £15 discount code. Mac and cheese was shell shaped pasta with cheese dizzled on top. BBQ Chicken was just chicken with what tasted like heinz BBQ sauce pour over it. Oxtail and rice and peas tasted ok as did the ackee and saltfish. Saltfish dumpling was like a fritter but was dry and oily at the same time with no saltfish. We also ordered a cocobread with peppered steak- this was cancelled without informing us and we didnt not receives coleslaw with the meal deals. Will never order from here again

The meals and service were beyond our expectations. I really enjoyed the environment of this restaurant. Excellent place to take my family out for dinner.

listed on both just eat & deliveroo but never seem to be accepting orders/always cancelled. As it is not local to me I gave up months ago trying to order from here which is a shame because the food is very tasty but so complicated just to place an order online

Ordered off just eat. Food arrived on time. However, what arrived, was not good, more a diabolical arrangement of what tasted like left overs. The jerk chicken was DRRYYYY, and tasted 3 days old, definitely NOT FRESH. The chicken wings again dry and fried, then reheated. Plantain, worst I have ever tasted. Dumplin was cooked fresh, just tasted doughy. I can safley say the rice was ok. I have chucked the food in the bin and ordered a Pizza. Would i recommend this place again... HELL NO, what a waste of my time and money. If anything, if you want the taste of good, wholesome, decent, FRESH west indian cuisine, please go to Chicken Kitchen in west london.

Where do I start - Firstly, the lady at the till tried to overcharge me despite the prices shown on the menu, called her out on it, clearly struggled to have enough change in the till, and no surprise... I was still short changed. To top that all off the food was absolutely terrible. The plantain was NOT sliced and still RAW and DRY. The Jerk chicken was not jerk in the slightest and was extremely oily, swimming in oil, and overlyspiced. They were both inedible.

Had it for a mid-week takeaway dinner. Food delivered on time and tastes proper. No complaints there. However, the portion size and price advertised for main curry's meal (OX tail & Goat Curry meal) which I opted were for smaller portion size and large portion racks up around £10ish.....so watch out and select the one during checkout. Shall I order again... Probably Yes but hope they relook at their pricing....Good food.

I ordered from here recently. The lunchtime menu is always so delicious especially the bbq chicken/rice and peas portion. The food always arrives piping hot too! The only let down was the macaroni cheese. The pasta was all clumped together into a sort of rectangle jelly with a very thin layer of cheese on top. It was inedible. I called someone from the restaurant and was told that’s the way it’s always made.

really amazing food, i stopped by here instead of going McDs and the food was so good i had to leave a review - i got a large jerk chicken meal and finished every bit of it (it's a lot!) - the chicken was juicy and fell off the bone while covered in jerk sauce and the rice was soft (amazing with the jerk sauce poured over it) - family run business by good people... will defo go again!

Awesome Jamaican food. Better to be collected in person, as delivery might take over 1,5hrs. Always ask for today's cooked meal. Rice might be bit burned. Overall above expectations.

One of the worst experienced. My food took over 2 hours to be delivered. When I rang the restaurant over 3 times, I kept getting told my food is on its way or around the corner. Just Eat contacted them about 3 times and they got told the same thing. When they kept fobbing me off, I tried to phone them again and they didn’t pick up the phone. It was just awful customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my family or friends. It was the continuous lies I get told by an lady put me off. They shouldn’t run a business if they can’t deliver the service they promise.

Entrega ha venido sistemáticamente mucho antes de lo indicado. El Caribe es conocido por ser un poco lento, pero este lugar es muy eficiente y en una cena. Las porciones de plátano son grandes y sabrosos, el arroz y guisantes es preparado magníficamente y el pescado es genial. Curry de cabra era un poco demasiado para mi gusto, pero mustardy que soy yo, si te gusta, te encantará, la carne era de una gran calidad.

Ordered a takeaway from Flava and delivery was good and jerk chicken and rice tasted good. I read some of their Just Eat reviews and saw some people saying their delivery was 1h and 15mins late when actually it's not 1h and 15mins late but 15mins late as a busy takeaway gives min 1h for delivery on a busy day. I had no issues with their delivery time at all. Nice food and timely delivery.
