Lovely authentic food thali I recommend and fried momos

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** I can't recommend Hamro Chautari in Harrow enough! This family-run gem consistently delivers outstanding Nepalese cuisine that never fails to impress. Their chicken momos are perfectly seasoned and bursting with authentic flavor, while the chicken momos thukpa is a hearty, comforting delight. The chilli momos add a fantastic spicy kick that keeps me coming back for more. Despite being a small business, they maintain impeccable cleanliness, which I greatly appreciate. While the service can be a bit slow at times, the delicious food more than makes up for it. Supporting small businesses is important to me, and I'm happy to wait a bit longer for such exceptional meals. I'm a regular customer and will continue to be for a long time to come!

This is my favourite, go-to place for momos in London! They make their momos fresh, but have been able to keep the taste consistent every time I have been here. Their veg steamed momos and veg jhol momos are our favourite! Their chilli momos are pretty amazing too.

Good Service and delicious food

I have eaten here dozens of times in the last couple of years and that explains how much I liked the food here. However, I have noticed in my last couple of visits that the chutney that comes with momo hasn't been particularly good. It looks and tastes like some kind of ready made sauce from a shop as opposed to freshly made tomato chutney with timbur flavour that was served before. Even a friend of mine who dined with me last week mentioned this degradation. I honestly like their food , ambience and price, therefore I would like to request them through this review that they revert back to original chutney.

Authentic Nepali foods with very friendly staff. Live music with a cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect place to hang out.

The owner of golden ship has megalomania where he himself feel as a king of his business don’t care abut the guest. He is very rude even his team same problem lack of hospitality knowledge.here in the chautari the name itself prove by the owner what they r and hope will maintain the chautari legacy in the upcoming future . London professional stress life can be squeeze here in the chautari with Gud surrounding and authentic Nepali cuisine but in golden ship they steal money of the people same way how the worsed restaurant steal money in Nepal zero communication level zero knowledge only ego problem in body of all team member and owner

We had a tasty meal. The chatpat and panipuri were spicy and crunchy. The chicken biryani was fragrant and delicious, and the momos was very tasty. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. We'll definitely come back for more! Thank you.

Went there for dinner. The starters were quite good but the thali was not that great we ordered lamb and chicken set both of the meat were cooked in the same sauce. No one asked us if we want anything else. We wanted to order the mains later but they said its easy for them if we order it together. The Lady was sweet but the service was not that great . During the billing time they just said the amount that we need to pay the bill was never presented to us which is very upsetting.

Food served in its most authentic manner. Nepali thali with pork is my favourite and out of the world.

Food was quite tasty and I like the fact that food did take sometime to come as it it indicated that it was freshly made!

Fresh steamed momos are the best here, unbeatable! Cooked fresh in the kitchen with tasty momo chutney. I've tried other places but always return here! Chow mein and chilli garlic mogo also delicious 👌🏾

Food : Mid-low at best compared to other Nepali eateries in London. Service: It was, for the most part, fantastic . . . until the manager/person apparently in charge started intruding on our conversations willy nilly. Awkward interjections and bordering cringe humour put us off quite a bit. Rest of the service staff were absolutely amazing though. They tended to our requests and were attentive at the right times. We had a large group and tried a bunch of items from the menu. The momo wrappers were far too thick and we found them unevenly cooked as you'd expect with a thick wrapper. We brought this to the attention of the intrusive manager guy and he brushed it off with these exact words : "So long as it is digestible". Welp, the man completely missed the point and that is absolutely no way to address a potential health hazard. Did not finish the 8pc plate of momo. Chowmein was decent. I've had worse, but I've certainly had better on my London visits. We didn't try the thaali set so I cannot comment on what I would assume should be their signature offering as most of everything else we tried was below par. The only saving grace, food wise, was the Lamb with the Taas we had. I'm sure it helps that the rest of the dish prepares itself as it tasted like the dish that got the most attention. The prices are actually alright for the portion sizes but this place, for us, epitomised "You get what you pay for". I'd rather spend a bit more in other restaurants and not deal with the weirdness and eat food that felt like it was prepared as an afterthought. Not going back anytime soon. Edit following the owner's reply: We did give you feedback at the restaurant immediately which was brushed off with what I quoted previously. Verbatim. Goodness me this is no way to respond to feedback either. Ad hominems, self-contradictions on the hygiene part, and tinged with undue rage for a fair review. Also, the point of Google reviews is that it doesn't have to be "face to face" and that someone's opinion could be published for everyone to see. A tiny bit of introspection would go a long way. I usually cannot be bothered with such pettiness but this truly astounded me beyond belief.

I must say, it is by far the best authentic Nepalese food in London I have tried. I really like momo and khaja/khana set there, it taste's so good with satisfaction of quantity and quality, not only food the ambience and customer services is what they are popular for. I thoroughly enjoy my time there, would recommend this place everyone who want to try Nepali food.

Ate at chautari restaurant for the first time yesterday and the food was chefss kisss delicious. Owners were very friendly and welcoming, will definitely be coming back again!

This atmosphere cannot be found in London thanks to Mrs Joti and subarna for their good hospitality and the food they serve was really good nail biting please try chicken pangra , delicious Momo different flavours like khothe , steam , chilli (recommended). Chatpat and kathmandu beer as a stater . I promise visitor will be blessed with good food and hospitality.

I would say the best Nepalese food I have had in london. Amazing food with amazing ambience. I had chilli momo which was a pure satisfaction. Thankyou for fulfilling my cravings hamro chautari. Loved everything.

Worst service I should say.I had tried their food and it was really nice. We went there to dine in and as soon as the staff saw us she said they are really busy at the moment and few tables are waiting for food.We said it was okay for us to wait but the staff keep on saying they are busy and don't know how long it's gonna take.We atlast said we are taking away the food but eventhough staff said the people are really busy with cooking. I have never seen a customer service like this in my entire life and felt like we were discriminated when compared to all other people who where sitting there. Will never ever go to this place again.

This is the best Nepalese restaurant food i ever had in uk in this last 2 years . Awesome food, awesome vibes and our sister is very lovely. warmly welcome environment . Feels like i am in my own home country.

Very very poor service. Not satisfied. I don’t recommend also talking about the food some how it was good but the plating and some food was bit smelling. One lady for service who has 0 knowledge of serving even if i want to order something there was no one to take the order as the lady anytime stay at the counter which is full of flowers and cannot see the person is there or not. I don’t understand she is scared of taking or shy. Environment was not good not for family even not for couples as well as friends so it’s really embarrassing.

Tried for the first time and definitely the last as well need to learn a lot more about customer service if you cannot give not a proper but atleast a srvice you guys could have open a takeaway restaurant.. very very disappointed

The food is always great at Chautari. You're not gonna be mind blown but you'll definitely receive great quality food and good service here.

Loved the starters. We ordered a few variety of momos. The jhol momos and steamed momos were delicious. There’s scope for improvement in service. Some more warmth and attentiveness towards customers would make a big difference, in my view.

Very rude owner!! Avoid!! Even though the food was good, the waiter was rude.

We tried all of their momos and they are not to be missed, authentic and very tasty. The guy waiter was a bit rude but the lady was very lovely. Would have given 5 star if not for the rude waiter. We wanted to try the thupka and ordered one but the waiter said one dish for 6 people would be messy. We did tell him we wanted to try first and if we liked it, we would ordered more. However, he replied saying that will irritate the chef if we order many times and instead should order everything in one go'. Of course that does not make sense as we are paying for the food and not taking it for free. So shouldn't matter how many dishes we order irrespective of the people on the table. Not sure why ordering one dish offended the waiter when we had already ordered 3 starters and 4 drinks.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the MOST AUTHENTIC NEPALESE FOOD in all of UK. Coming from a person who has lived in Kathmandu for 20 years, this is the food that reminds me most of home. The Chicken Momo and Chicken Chowmein remind me of all the restaurants in Thamel and Basantapur. Do not hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations on typical Nepali food. This is a must visit place for anyone who wants the true taste of Nepal.

Had to wait 45 mins to get my order taken while clearly everyone else was served (I was the only vegetarian). Then again an hour for another item on the menu and when I got up to leave they said, they got my order totally wrong and they were so busy. Sorry but I had a very bad experience, felt like I was ignored because I asked for vegetarian. :(

Really disappointed with customer service. Took nearly 1 and half hour to arrive order. Ordered Chilli momo, jhol MOMO and vegetable chow mein. Chicken chill momo was fine but vegetable chowmein was too oily, no taste and the main disaster was chicken Jhol MOMO, the pickle (Jhol) mixed with MoMo was giving nasty smell, Was already off few days ago. We wanted to explore authentic Nepalese cuisine but got disappointed. 😔

Went with the family and i was not happy with the service they gave. Ordered some food and made us wait more than 45 mins then told us later that particular food we ordered is out of stock. Omg i was shocked and the annoying part is while we wait for the food the waiter handed the bill to us while we were waiting for our ordered food. Disgusting service. Also saw one of the staff members mistreating another customers on the another table too. I would never go there again. Very shameful and embarassed being from the same country.

Not my first and certainly not my last visit.... I like this cuisine and its flavours and momo soup is an interesting alternative to the classic Sunday broth, in my opinion the best one with chicken.... I recommend with all responsibility!!!
