It was good value for money and one of the two dishes was soft and delicious, but the other was so tough that my jaw hurt.

In a street famed for guitars, it will be your digestive system in harmony at this price point. We were welcomed with a complimentary cup of popcorn and led to a shred table, the server who was kind enough to be working late on a Monday was named Kate, who surpassed many a fine dining service experience with a down to earth and friendly, yet equally knowledgeable guidance to the menu. I still can't believe you can get this much value for money in London. My only critique will be the amount of salt used on the meat.

Best value food I’ve ever eaten in London. Food was amazing. Staff were great fun. Little touches like free popcorn and ice cream are delicious and memorable. I’ll definitely return again, many times. Highly recommend the steak, mac and cheese, spinach, chips and apple & rhubarb soft drink.

Food was so-so, the steak was chewy. We had the flat iron and the wagyu of the day (bavette i think). Dont recommend it if you like good tender steak, but if you enjoy the chew the got the flavours right.

Good value, polite staff, and cozy atmosphere. We were so happy to have dinner here without reservation. The staff were really attentive and polite. The food came out quickly and was delicious. For two people, the flat iron steak, green salad, and roasted egg plants were perfect light dinner. The steak is especially a must have because it's so tender and delicious. They gave us free ice cream cone after the meal :)

It is a restaurant recommended by many people on the Internet, but please note that people who do not eat beef will not be able to order a very satisfying main meal here. Steaks are mainly affordable and cost-effective. Now a steak has increased to 14 pounds, and it is provided when you are seated. The portions of popcorn and extra French fries are also much smaller than before. We ordered three steaks, and visually the portions seem to be different. The portion of steak is not particularly large, but it is very delicious, and the additional drinks are also very thoughtful. , it is prepared, not just a canned soft drink. After the meal, you can also use a small kitchen knife to exchange for ice cream. At the end of the checkout, you find that the original meal cost will directly cover the 12.5% ​​service charge, which is not your choice. (Later I found out that it was stated that 100% will be given to employees), and each steak will have an optional donation of 0.1 pounds for donation. Maybe these items are not mandatory, I believe they also understand that most people will not specifically refuse😄

Absolutely loved this place. Staff welcoming and friendly, and knowledgeable about the steaks on offer. I had the Scottish Bavette and it was absolutely divine. Bursting with flavour, tender, all round beautiful cut of meat cooked perfectly. The beef dripping fries were amazing as was the cocktail! And all reasonably priced considering this is London.

Not my first and surely not my last time at this chain, I absolutely love the cuts of meat they offer (flat iron so far is the best for me personally) as well as the sides. I love the complementary popcorn as well as the ice cream treat they give you at the end of your meal. Service is spot on and a great meal experience is always guaranteed!

The meat (wagyu) was delicious! The truffle macaroni too, I was a little disappointed with the meat fat fries. The service was incredible, the servers attentive. Small special mention for our waitress who was very nice and spoke French. The little extra: the ice cream offered at the end, a marvel.

This restaurant is too small compared to its other shops, the seating layout was terribly arrange I strongly advise groups above 2 people to not come in busy hours. Too few seatings mostly two seated table took me (3 people) 80 minutes to get a table while see people who are in pairs get in quicker than us multiple times. The chairs were just round stools nothing to lean on after the long wait. Table i seated at had no seasoning no salt or black pepper had to ask the waitress ,she was very nice. However the server who let us in was a bit rude towards us.

We had a lovely meal for my birthday, quickly served and we had the special of the day! One thing with this restaurant is the door at the front is constantly swinging open and being left open (not by the servers but more leaving guests and new diners), I wasn’t that bothered but being with more senior people they were really getting annoyed being cold and also our food getting cold with the constant draft - we did ask to move as we’d booked but they were clearly busy!

Friendly staff who's just very accommodating to us walking in. She told us around 1.5hr and called us within 45mins despite the busy Friday night crowd. Steak is good and affordable as always.

The food was great, the steak was cooked well and was really tender. The staff are really attentive and I was impressed at the speed of service. The popcorn and water on the tables as well as the ice cream as you leave are nice touches. I would recommend booking a table as it can get busy at times.

It was a very bizarre experience. The steak was nothing to write home about, it was very chewy and the service left a lot to be desired. I did not even get a fork to eat, I asked for it twice but never got it. I had to eat with my hands. I asked for some ketchup twice and it arrived by the time I finished. If your plan guys was to ruined my dinner, you succeed. Never ever again.

Be sure to make a reservation💙 There is a line before it opens, so make a reservation first. The guiding staff and serving staff were friendly. I read a review that said there was no difference between it and regular wagyu. Wagyu was more delicious. It tastes better with just salt rather than sauce.

We were walk-ins. We're greeted with popcorn and sat down straight away. The food came hot and as ordered a good experience. The sides of creamed spinach and macaroni cheese were really good.

Great food and location. 3 minute walk from Tottemcourt station. We had the flat iron steak medium rare, garlic mash,macaroni, and cheese. Cocktails we had were floradora(pink drink photo) and passion fruit collins (orange drink in photo). Food and drinks were delicious! Service was great. We love eating here when we visit from Arizona!

Highly recommended for people looking for a good steak. The price is fair, and the sides were creative. I tried the truffled mac & and cheese, and I quite liked it. The steak was nice and juicy. The free popcorn and ice cream are heavy additions, so preferably, don't get breakfast in advance. Very small note: the chairs were stools and a bit uncomfortable

The staff is friendly, the establishment is clean. The food is good. But the price is much too high for the quantity. Everything in the main course is detailed. The fries are extra, the salad is extra, the sauce is even more... On the menu the price is only for the meat, nothing more. And even for meat it is a quantity for children. You won't leave this restaurant with a full stomach unless you spend a huge amount... I won't come back, it's way too expensive.

So many good things to say about this place! Staff: First and most important, the staff was wonderful. So nice and polite! We were served by a wonderful Portuguese girl (I don't know her name) who was amazing in explaining everything to us and also all the small talk with her was great. All the other staff, whenever we had some exchange with them, were also extremely polite and fun! Service: when you are seated you are treated with a nice cup of free popcorn, what a wonderful idea and I guess not extremely costly for Flat Iron, but still makes the client feel appreciated! Same with the delightful ice cream you are given when you leave! What lovely details that actually make the place stand out! Food: the meat was of course amazing. We had the flat iron steak, the wagyu cut of the day and the Scottish Bonnet. For sides we had the bone marrow crisp mush, the aubergine and the spinach. I must say that the wagyu was our least favourite, even though it was the most expensive. Our favourite was the Scottish Bonnet by far with it's delicious smokey flavour. The Flat Iron steak was a staple piece you can't go wrong with. As for the sides, they were extremely and unexpectedly tasty! Time: service was very fast and they also serve untill later in the night, perfect for a late dinner when most places won't serve! Overall, a must-try in London!

Really good steak. I tried the wagyu beef and it was delicious, the mash papatoes are really tasty. I eat here every time I visit London. You get free popcorn when you enter, and free icecream when you leave. They put you a 12,5% tip in the bill, but for me was worth it.

Very good restaurant in terms of quality/price. The food was delicious; without a doubt, what we liked the most were the macaroni and cheese. The meat was quite decent. The price is quite reasonable considering that London is expensive. The fact that they give you an ice cream cone at the end of the meal is quite amusing.

Great steaks at excellent prices. Had flat iron at 14 quid. Chose medium rare and it came perfectly. They cut it so it remains tender and season it will salt. Well worth getting a sauce for £1 as well. I chose garlic mash as a side and it was amazing. My father chose chips which were also amazing. The staff were super friendly as well. My father wanted to buy the knives and because it was his birthday they gave them to him. How wonderful

Came here for lunch, meat and wine were nice as per usual Flat Iron. However, the service was below the standard of decency. The guy at the entrance was rude, and looked like he was doing us a favour, then the waitress (Alice) made a weird comment about the fact we weren't English. We all looked at each other wondering what she meant....misunderstanding? Or maybe not....... go to other branches!

The food was as expected, very good, but I would stop short of saying great. We had a shoddy service experience with entry, arrived 10 mins early to our booking (don't bother, there's no accommodation room for this) and we were kept waiting with no apology or explanation for 20 mins on our feet exceeding our booking by 10 minutes. It's not a killer but was treated as if it was to be expected. Decor was nice but the coat hooks all sit against the walls overhanging the tables closest to them so it all feels squeezed in and then you get pestered every so often by someone getting their coat. Rest of the meal service was good but atmosphere/decor definitely needs a look. Nothing terrible nothing fantastic so not far off a 4*.

Booked last minute for a meal before the theatre and the early time was the only reason we were able to get a table. Really quick and friendly service. The steaks are amazing. I had the wild mushroom sauce which was fantastic and the mashed potato is incredible. Really nice touch to give you the ice cream at the end on the way out the door. Highly recommend; great value for a central London location and great food.

Reservation is a must. We were lucky to have a table on the same day at 9:15pm. At the moment we arrived, Mr Savio greeted us and led us to the table and with a complimentary Popcorn. The Popcorn was not sweet, and this was the popcorn we liked. 3 stars Food was served within 10 minutes upon ordering. We ordered flat iron steak £14 medium to well. 200g. Although it looked like we'll done rather than my preference of medium well, It tasted so delicious and juicy. 5 stars We also ordered flat iron sirloin, £20 medium well of 250g. This was actually medium well. It was mouth watering delicious. Juicy. With the fat portion melt in mouth. WOW. Star of the night. 5 stars We felt so excited using the cleaver to cut the steak. Really new experience. Green salad was delicious. Great compliment to steak. The sauce was great. £3.50 was value for money. 3 stars Finally, the beer "Signature Beer Roadie" was so wonderful. Taking a sip of beer with the sirloin, what a wonderful world. 5 stars After payment, we were presented very tiny cleaver tokens to exchange for complimentary ice cream. Thanks, Mr Savio for preparing us a wonderful and addictive ice cream while letting us to keep the small cleaver token as souvenirs. Ice cream. 5 stars

Had a lovely Sunday evening dinner here with my cousin. Flat Iron has a simple but tasty menu, and the restaurant in Denmark Street is cosier and less overcrowded than most other establishments in the chain in London. We had fkat iton steak and a selection of sides, a glass of red and a cocktail. The food was very tasty, the cream spinach soooo good, and the service was swift, friendly, and very professional. A great way tonend the weekend. We reserved a table several weeks in advance.
