First time we have been to Flame and wok we were not disappointed ordered online said would be 60 mins came after 40. Food was first class piping hot. Couldn’t fault it very large portions delicious Thank you

Chicken chow mein was bland with no seasoning, the chicken was rubbery and felt like it had been boiled and slimy. Filet steak was fatty and definitely not filet! The only tasty bit was the sauce from the ok ribs Even the egg fried rice was bland and tasteless Oh and they don't do chips! Will not be ordering again! Can get much better from cheaper places

Bought from here previously but tonight it was terrible. Ribs were awful. Prawns like rubber. Sauces disgusting.

We ordered a takeaway . In fairness the food was ready at the agreed time but it was disappointing. We had sweet and sour chicken and salt and pepper ribs . The chicken was very chewy and too sweet . We won’t be rushing back I’m afraid

Absolute awful meal (takeaway) on Saturday 10th November. We had a portion of prawn toast for starters and my second piece I felt a hair. I thought it was one one mine on the toast but as I went to pull it out it was actually inside the prawn toast! Totally disgusting! Would never eat there again.

This does exactly what it says on the tin! We had a good take away, there was plenty of food, it was all good and in the morning it didn't feel like we had been eating just monosodium glutamate. We will go again. Don't be put off the hard to read Facebook menu.

I call in for a take away every couple of weeks. Great food and always on time, nice staff my favorite is chicken in ok sauce. My only choice for Chinese Takeaway. Thank you.

Small takeaway with friendly staff, The Singapore vermicelli is exceptional, Spare ribs pretty average but overall would recommend. Just be aware that this place is cash only.

We have never had a bad takeaway from Flame and Wok and the delivery is usually very quick , obviously delays if ordering at 6-7pm Saturday night .. Complimentary prawn crackers of your order is over £24. The spare ribs are delicious , all the food has always been fantastic , Definitely recommend .

Been going to Flame and Wok for many years now, and can honestly say I have never had a meal I was disappointed with. Also they deliver which comes in handy on wet and snowy nights. Keep it up. This is a takeaway not a restaurant.

Ordered take away for a special occasion. Over £50, using on line. Slot showing when I ordered was 6.50. By time the order was processed it was 7. 35. As I write this it is 8.25 no courtesy call, no apology. Really disappointed as we have used them lots of times before and like the food, but this is the last time. Lesson don't rely on them!

Always excellent food. Prompt service. Chicken satay is brilliant. It would be even better if they did chips.

After a disappointing meal around a year ago, we'd avoided Flame & Wok, but decided to give them another go over the Easter weekend. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. As such, they are now back on our buy list.

Una gran tome su pedido, llegamos a hora indicada, pero a pesar de que sólo un corto viaje a casa los aperitivos todos estaban frías. Muchas órdenes y demasiado lío para volver pero no es agradable, la comida fría!

He probado muchos en el área local y la comida es por lejos la mejor calidad en la zona para comida para llevar, todo lo que he probado ha sido genial y nunca he sido decepcionado. La única cosa que me gustaría ver es más grande shumai.

La comida en la llama y Wok es siempre fresco y de buena calidad. Es preparado delante de usted si caminas en orden. Dos inconvenientes, es sólo en efectivo (con tantas opciones baratas tarjeta no entiendo por qué), y parking (muy limitado y un lugar muy complicado aparcar cerca).

Most Friday's we order from flame and wok, the staff take the time to recognise you and remember your name, the food is always of a high standard and charged at a very reasonable rate, the best wok take away in Cheshire.

Chinese food at its best. Not sticky congealed mess. Its cooked in front of you,all fresh.Wehad one of the banquets,there was plenty,more then enough.

Shame they only take cash, however well worth ordering from this takeaway. Always hot, made in front of you and delicious. Had many take always from here never been disappointed. Food allergies catered for and no MSG's if you ask.

We have had food from here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Unlike other reviewers though, I have found service to be very slow. The place is a victim of its own success and can't physically prepare food fast enough to meet the demand. We've ordered in person and used the delivery service. If having your meal delivered be prepared to wait an hour. It is worth the wait and the food is always nice and hot. I love the fact that it is also freshly prepared.

Fantastic wide ranging menu and superb range of quality Chinese food. We had the deep fried shredded beef and it was really good. Nice clean shop as well.Well recommended!

Our local Chinese takeaway was closed, so we tried the Flame and Wok. We had the Special Chow Mein, which was only special for the high price with not much content compared to our usual.The place looks impressive, but we wern't eating impressions.

Ordered a feast from here for my sister and I to share and we were not disappointed. Haven't had crispy duck for ages and it went down a treat, not badly priced and good portions, enough to share. We'll be back for more

You cannot get much fresher cooking that this for a quick bit, excellently cooked, very clean little take away, been here many times for a quick bite to eat and will continue to do so in the future.

12 years ago or thereabouts this new Chinese takeaway opened its doors for the first time and absolutely blew me away... 12 years later I now live in Edinburgh and was back down in Wilmslow for a couple of nights so thought I would see if it was still open and still good and oh my god phenomenal still... Yes a little more expensive than others but worth every single penny.. See you next time we are down from Edinburgh

very good clean and quick ,food was traditional in tast and the closest i have had outside china ,we use a lot and never had a bad exsperience ,prices good and one of my favorate take aways

never had a bad meal from here very very good but rather go to no3 round the corner food nearly as good and half the price

I'm not sure why Flame & Work gets some bad reviews. I've always found the food to be a cut above your average Chinese take-away, definitely "restaurant quality", they prepare and cook the food 'live', they don't seem to go in for MSG in a big way, so no need for gallons of water during and after...plus they deliver too. One improvement would be to accept credit cards, I know cash is a great option if you're a takeaway, but less so as a customer.

Just average, nothing much wrong but no spark or difference to any other take out. A factory producing average chinese meals at a premium price. Bit dissapointed, I did try it twice.
