Flamboree in Hackney

Un grupo de 6 de nosotros de la oficina fue, extraño que todos somos profesionales de la hospitalidad también. Nos lo pasamos de maravilla y la comida era increíble a un precio excelente. Mientras estuvimos allí, sin embargo, notamos que todas las flambeas se cortaban con el mismo cortador si la pizza era vegetariana, carnosa, con oporto, etc. Un poco preocupante, especialmente cuando algunos tenían carne de cerdo, lo que significa que algunas personas que no comen carne de cerdo por motivos religiosos comerían una llama con restos de carne de cerdo de otras llamas. El mismo pensamiento sería para las opciones vegetarianas. Sobre todo, tuvimos un gran almuerzo y volveríamos, pero sugeriría usar más de una rebanadora para los diferentes tipos de flambe's.

Fui con mi esposo a almorzar hoy. El diseño del lugar es genial, muy moderno. La tarta flambee era muy sabrosa ya un precio razonable. Definitivamente lo recomiendo, ¡especialmente si quieres probar un plato nuevo!

Quite possibly the best flatbread I've had in London. Anna Marie was exceptionally polite and will definitely be back for more Reunion Beer and flatbreads :)

Walked in here a couple of weeks ago on a lunchtime walk, and was really excited that they offered a Vegan option. Natuarally, I was keen to try. But today, when I walked in around lunch and wasn't overly busy, but there were 4 people waiting for their order, who had seemed to be waiting for a while as they enquired where one of their orders were. I didn't let this put me off, and ordered anyways. However, whilst waiting I looked at my reciept and realised that I had been charged for a different dish which was more expensive. I had by this point already been waiting for over 15 minutes for my take out. (I even managed to help a customer to let her know that her preordered takeaway was left on the table by the window, when the staff couldn't work out where it had gone) I get that mistakes happen, but when I asked for this to be rectified, no offer of returning me the price difference was made, and this all seemed to confuse the workers as it took at least 4 of them to discuss what to do, which again is fine, but this was all done without an apology. And to be honest, it seemed like they didn't care that I had been waiting or that they were about to serve me the wrong order. I ended up having to ask for my money back (was short changed, but didn't care as I just wanted to get out of there) It was coming to the end of my lunch break and didn't have time to wait for my corrected order. When I was being given my change, it just seemed like the server wanted me out of there. So after wasting around 25 minutes in there, and having to deal with rude staff, I still haven't tried the great veganer and don't plan on trying it any time soon.

Came here to relax and for a quick bite before a job interview. This restaurant is fantastic. 3 mins walk from Old Street Station. I’ve discovered something new today...A Flam is basically a beautiful, thin, french, flame baked pizza (but better than a pizza). The toppings on offer were amazing, so much to choose from. The drinks were great, soft and alcoholic. Interior really well designed and created, spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, brilliant service! Also, gluten free food and beer options available which is great. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis (if I get the job) 😉

The restaurant specialises in Tarte Flambée, an Alsatian type of pizza consisting of flatbread, topped with a spread mix of fromage frais/crème fraîche/nutmeg, and then with different ingredients such as lardons and cheese. The food is not bad as such, it is just that it really does not taste like an authentic Tarte Flambée. The setting is very basic, perfect for lunch or a quick dinner. Prices are affordable.

We were so pleased to discover Flamboree during our recent visit to London. The concept is creative, the decor is contemporary and most importantly the food is wonderful. We ordered several flams and salads to share and enjoyed the variety, flavour and presentation of each. There is also a great selection of wines and homemade beverages. London presents so many healthy dining options; Flamboree stands out as one of our favourites. A special mention to the general manager whom we enjoyed chatting with during the evening. He is a true gentleman and an excellent restauranter; courteous, attentive and thoroughly gracious. Highly recommend visiting. So glad we did.

These guys stayed open late for us - a hen party of 15 people - and we were very well looked after. The flams and raclettes were lovely. Try the charcuterie flam, it’s delicious. See you again soon!

We really enjoyed our visit to Flam, loved everything about it, super menu excellent food and lovely decor..The staff couldn’t do enough for us, super friendly and customer service as it should be. I’m quite fussy about my food and have to watch ingredients as I have a few allergy issues..The manager went into detail about what was in the food and I felt my allergies were taken into consideration as we browsed and chose items off the menu..Staff were extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients they were using..We will DEFINITELY be visiting here again.Cannot fault the place and loved the whole experience...Definitely a restaurant not to be missed...was very busy so maybe ring ahead and book a table...

I went to lunch here a few days ago. The service is really good and timely and the staff really nice and kind!!! It was the first time I tasted the Flam (specialty of the place) and I was really impressed, fresh and quality ingredients! Recommended!!!

Extremely bad customer service from manager! I’ve never experienced that type of spiteful behaviour from a member of staff only to be told it was the manager so there is no one who I can even make a complaint to. It was the first time I visited and it will definitely be the last!!! I ordered a pizza, it was a little busy because there was a promotion going on. There was a vegan pizza on the table it had been there for a while the server asked if I ordered a vegan pizza, I replied yes. I asked if I could get a fresh one, he told me that it had just been made so I accepted the pizza. He was asking all of the other customers whether they were eating in or taking away, my pizza was just left on the side and I had to tell him I was taking mine away, it was clear by then that me asking for a fresh pizza annoyed because he chose to ignore me. Then while my pizza was on the table he opened a pizza box and put another customers pizza into the box which was right on top of the pizza he was offering me. I then asked if I could get a fresh one now as he had put a pizza box directly on the pizza. He said yes that’s fine and told me that my pizza was being made next. He then proceeded to make about 4 more vegan pizzas and purposely serve other customers before me, all the while telling me my pizza was coming. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told that he was the manager and that I could only speak to him. Why would I want to talk to him when he was the person who had treated me like that! DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT THE MANAGER IS A SPITEFUL AND RUDE MAN!! If you have any complaints they go nowhere because it’s the manager who is the problem and you’ll be told there’s no one you can talk to!! Not sure how long the restaurant has been around but it will not last long if that is the attitude of people that are employed there!!

We went there when it opened and had their classic tarte flambée as well as cheese raclette dish. It was alright, nothing that makes your tastebuds go too crazy. It was not bad, but should have more seasoning, crème fraîche and shallots to give more taste. The raclette was good! Nonetheless, it's nice to have a place that sells tarte flambée in London.

Popped in here for an early evening bit on my way to a networking event - super impressed by quality of food and the service. Its very informal almost like a cafeteria but lots of space, super clean and the food was really fresh and tasty. I also got a discount for eating between 5 and 7. Highly Recommended - different from a lot of the other places around here.
