It had the potential to be a good meal because the patties were nice but the toppings were missing . I put it down to understaffing. The cooks were obviously very rushed.

Food is really good but the prices - very expensive and as for the drinks, over £4 when they are watered down, seen hltje water come out of the machine is a daylight robbery.

Ordered for delivery Deliveroo Driver said its too far and said to contact restaurant. Restaurant said contact the driver Driver hung up on me Wastemans

Great food, hard working busy staff helped with issue with meal, missing bacon was quickly brought a serving. The place is busy and it's not a great dining experience but it's worth it for the great burgers.

Food is good but two occasions in a row I've come here the fizzy drink machines give out very watered down drinks.

Order wasn’t delivered. The app says delivered however nothing arrived at the location and hotel staff say it wasn’t delivered. I was waiting in the reception area for 20 mins and nothing turned up

Nice place to go. Staff are friendly. The place is quite clean with many decorations and includes pictures from kids around. Plenty of seats inside and outside. No bin around. Very good food and quickly served!

I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Five Guys. It was my first time eating at Five Guys in Birmingham and my server Ade made me feel more than welcome. I have never felt more taken care of at a restaurant before!

Service was 10/10, our server Ade was so hospitable and truly showed me and my brothers what the 5 guys experience is! Went out of his way to make us comfortable. Thank you Ade!

I received the best ever service from Ademola. Was very genuine and friendly it felt like I made a new friend on the spot whilst I was in a rush to catch my train back to London. The food was good and made with care.

Today was my first ever having a burger from five guys. And it’s safe to say i will be coming back again. I was served by a young man named Adrian who was very friendly and took great care of me. He definitely made my food with great care as i enjoyed the food and experience very much.

I wanted to give some feedback on the burger I had during my recent visit. It was outstanding! The flavors were rich, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The patty was juicy and cooked perfectly, and I love that I can fully customize my toppings without extra charges - it makes the burger feel uniquely mine every time. The freshness and generous portion sizes truly set your burgers apart. Thank you for the care you put into making each burger so delicious. I'll definitely be back for another

Received the complete wrong burger, and they won’t give any form of goodwill

Positives: the food is OK. Negatives: Expect a long wait 90% of the time. Doesn't have a toilet, nearest is the other side of new street.

The delivery driver could not wait and when I went down I couldn’t find him nor my order. He was very rude and impatient.

Ordered banana milkshake and chocolate. Both were too sweet and had no flavour.

Delivery driver decided he wanted to sight see around Birmingham before getting to the property.

What a shocking experience! After discovering that I had a 23 minute wait for my train departure. On my travels to the platform, I stumbled across a five guys. I thought “hmmmmm a milkshake would go down a treat right about now” and yes I will admit, I have quite the sweet tooth! I ordered myself an Oreo cookies whipped cream milkshake. After a very long, unnecessary wait, finally my number was called. Thrilled with joy, but furious with the long wait! I skipped over to the till to collect my shake. Looking down at my watch with complete fear, I saw that I had only 3 minutes to make my train. My heart sunk! So many thoughts running through my head. “What if I miss my train!? The next train doesn’t leave until early hours in the morning” I put the burners on and found myself sprinting, enthusiasticly praying I’ll get there in time. Anyway, sweat dripping off my face, struggling to catch my breath, I jumped on the train at the very last minute! All I could think about was my nice, thick, creamy milkshake. As my mouth drulled, I finally took my first sip. “Delicious” I yelled, at the top of my lungs. But after approximately 3 sips my (paper) straw was as wet and soggy as Harvey prices chin. My first thought was, why? Why use a paper straw!? £5.75 for my straw to fold in half like a cheap deck chair from the range! Pathetic! Five guys, sort it out. Give us plastic straws! Or I will be forced to take legal action! Good bye!

On both occasions, the food has been far from fast. 15 minutes for a burger and fries 🙄 And none of the requested garnishings on the burger 2nd time...

I ordered my food at 13:15, the time kept going up and I have waited over an hour for my food. My boyfriend had to go there to see why it was taking so long. When they delivered my food. It was cold, they didn’t add the sauces that I asked for either. I am very upset about this and I am no longer able to enjoy my food

Ordered my food before my colleague however got my food 40 mins after hers arrived which made no sense. I ended up waiting an hour and 10 mins for delivery. No mayo added.

ordered food 20:38 status siad preparing and just switched to delivered at 22:45 no notification no or rejection! not impressed they shouldn't take orders they can't deliver

You can get your food instantly if you order before hand on the app, but confusing to get to for those who are not familiar with the layout of Birmingham new street, and not that many seats for the location

We had 5 Guys, cheese bacon burgers, the meat patties were juicy and well seasoned, full of flavour, I had grilled mushrooms on my burger, and large fries very generous portions. JJ had the Oreo shake, which was good I had penutbutter and Salted Caramel which was absolutely amazing. Friendly staff and a disabled person toilet very clean

Food cold and horrible would like a refund please

Not the best location, however everything else is top notch.

Order a small bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink which came to £17. No bacon in the burger when it arrived I asked where it was and was given a side dish of bacon which was like rubber. The burger was tiny and the chips dry, really disappointed based on how much this fast food costs. I will avoid in the future.

If you are about to catch a train when you call here, you may find it helpful to ask how long it will take to be ready before you pay. My cheeseburger was delicious but rather messy to eat as the cheese had melted and dropped inside the tin foil it was wrapped in. All in all tasty food which I was glad of just before catching a train from Birmingham New Street train station.

Well, it's pretty good. I ordered the dog with bacon and it was delicious. The potatoes a little burnt. They attended to us in an adequate time.

First time using five guys yesterday before we rushed to get a train home, £10.35 for a pathetic burger absolutely dripping with grease, yellow lettuce, cold bun and cold cheese. Not a very good 1st impression. That was the last of our money so had to eat it.

Ordered a cheeseburger, was asked if I wanted any fries or drink, said no and received a funny look and bad vibe, the food arrived with freezing cold cheese, I returned it as I did not want to be ill. The kitchen staff gave funny looks and the manager huffed also. I demonstrated it was cold, even asked her to touch it to feel herself. Very bad experience, to top it off the way it was handled was just below par. Served by the manager. I think the staff here need some training on food standards and also customer service.

Five guys is always unreal and this was no exception. Atmosphere scored 3 only because its in a train station so not going to a buzzing atmosphere anyway.

Literally only got a milkshake delivered on an order of 2 full meals. Now having to re order and wait 58 hours for a potential refund. Spent £50 and got a milkshake.

Raw burger meat served in cheeseburger. Quite disappointing and dangerous for health and safety.

I ordered a five guy burger with my 2 sons. The service and the food was 1st class.

I Ordered a grilled cheese, add bacon, extra bacon, with grilled onion and shrooms and a tomato. At the till the staff member did not know how to input extra bacon but assured me the request would be accommodated. When I saw the sandwich being assembled, I noticed that only 2 bits of bacon were used so I asked for some more. The line supervisor, a black shirt assured me there's no more bacon with two full baskets on the line, and then when I said that there is more bacon and that company policy is that as much additional bacon as the customer wants can be added she told me no. The ticket time was 9 minutes for a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was burnt. The staff need a quick retraining on company policy and how to properly cook a perfect grilled cheese. Jim, Matt, Chad, Ben and Tyler and most importantly Jerry would be disappointed if they had this experience.

Never ordering from a 5 guys again after the ordered we have received tonight. Actually disgusting, patties slapped together, fries burnt - cannot be eaten. Very overpriced meal, disappointed customer.

The experience is good just with it at a train station a risk as never 100% sure how long they will take so if catching a train the risk is yours.

Popped in and brought a large fries. First there was no one in the front of house to take order. Second they dumped the large fries into a paper cup and was spilled all over the brown cover they put in 3rd when I asked for sauce they asked me to pump it from the sauce bottle they had in there, the girl who took my order was so stupid to suggest me to pump the sauce in a paper dip while I ordered for takeout. The fries were so soggy and brunt the next min I got the order packed which seems like it’s not a freshly cooked one. The tissues were also dumped into the same brown bag which had peri peri salt on the fries. The two girls there were so funny making fun and were passing comments. I had a big expectation with this franchise truly disappointed.

I went back and it was way better so I'm updating this review to 4*..this time they had Led Zep music playing and the place was regularly being tidied. Awesome. Old review: Great burgers (£9 for a cheeseburger, so they need to be good)... but nasty store. Service takes a little longer than many 'take-out or dine in' venues but I guess they are cooking from scratch which is good. Loads of discarded packaging left on tables. Feels like tables needs a good clean or replacing. The place is a bit soulless, and reminds me of eating in an NHS hospital. Worth ago but could be better.

This store has a wonderful combination of tasty food, amazing atmosphere and customer service. Me and my friends went into this store on our way to catch a train. The best milkshake and burger I ever had!!!!!Its really worth for the money you give. Thanks to Neha from their team, she was a great help while choosing the flavours and toppings!

Horrible decor but really good burgers

i mainly want to say how appalled i am with the disgusting wastefulness of this establishment. as im waiting for one burger here i have witnessed five customers conplain that their bun was not hot enough to the staff. without even opening up or biting their giant double cheeseburgers, the staff here throws the entire sandwich in the bin and makes the customer a new one! to think of the horrendous daily waste of meat and cheese and bread and mustard and ketchup and lettuce. to think of the dispicable waste of farms and earth and the carvon footprint if this brand! if they dont find a way to heat up a cold bun without wasting an entire huge burger then they have no business being such a massive company. i absolutely think this is urgent and serious

I love the burgers here they're the best. The sauce pumps were empty but asked for sachets and they were more than glad to give you a big handful.

I am absolutely in awe of the service in this branch! My friend and I were cutting it really close to getting our train but decided to quickly run into your store for some late night food. Ivan G pushed our order through and within a minute our food was given to us and we made our train! He is an absolute asset to your team! Please reward him as such - we managed to get out train and enjoy some amazing food on the way home, thank you!

No lids for drinks. Pricey treat, but enjoyable, freshly cooked quality food. Hassled by beggars sat at the exterior tables. Magnet for beggars and one guy laying on the floor. New Street has a real problem with beggars.

A more quiet restaurant than bullring so quicker service. Feels a little nestled in a dark corner of new street station so can be hard to find.

Food was nice service was shocking took about 15 minutes to be served was only one in the queue the guy serving was on his phone then while seated and eating we had about 4 beggars come in trying to ask for money
