Grabbed a hot dog for my train journey. Paid just under a tenner for a standard long roll with a tinned sausage,burnt streaky bacon and cheese. Don't believe the hype.

I was served by Erika (I think she was the manager) I could not have asked for better service - attentive, enthusiastic and an all round star, she deserves a raise. Food was spot on and I will definitely be back

I’m coeliac and was served by Saveria. She let the other worker know there was an allergy coming through. Offered the lettuce bun without me asking (though would be nice if this was shown on the menu) Although I couldn’t keep track of the food through the line I did see them constantly changing their gloves, which does give me peace of mind. The restaurant was clean and tidy (though could see no buns for us to dispose of our own rubbish. Staff were friendly, quick and efficient. Although no place can confirm no cross contamination , this makes me feel confident eating out.

Got to five guys after getting off the train from the races, starving my first time here, I had loaded burger my son had large hotdogs, pricewise I felt a little expensive, but the service was excellent, the team worked like a well oiled machine, watched them cook our food assemble it and called our name good to go burger fantastic flavours, hotdogs fabulous, and strawberry shake really good, and drink as much soda as you liked, I will return

I decided to to go Five Guys, I have tried their burger £8.15 it is a delicious burger, however it is not worth £8. It is way over priced, it is not worth it. I had to try it, to find out what is the hype about this venue. I had grilled mushrooms & grilled onions, you couldn't even see it, you need a high powered microscope to see it.

Called into new street station branch today. Bacon burger and regular fries (no drink) just under 15 pound. What a waste of money. I could kick myself, even the weathersppoons burger and chips is as good. The chips were vile. Whatever oil they are cooked in left a horrible greasy taste in my mouth and I left almost the full portion on the table, disgusting. The meat paties are OK, but the bacon was burnt beyond crispy. I threw half my burger away. 15 pound for a few bites. I'll not be so stupid and eat here ever again

Great service from a petite blond girl who was on the till. We had two burgers, fries and drinks. The food was great, chips were 10/10 and staff very friendly. The portions are very generous! On a previous visit, I was travelling to an airport, to another country and needed a facemask and a member of staff kindly gave me 2 facemasks which saved me!

Over the moon that there's a Five Guys in New Street, I was. That's until we visited. The service isn't the best - part of which is going to be down to the use of face masks and the ambient noise but it did seem to be OUR fault that we couldn't understand the person taking our order. Still, the food arrived relatively quickly. Never had a hot dog at Five Guys before, but then I've also never paid almost £30 for lunch for two at fast food restaurant before so it was a day for firsts. I think they might have got the hot dogs confused with the rubber squeaky toy hot dogs that you give to dogs. Maybe not the chewiest thing I've ever eaten but it was up there with Doublemint. And the fries - I remember Five Guys fries being the BEST! So when this little container arrives with another shovel-full of fries dumped over everything in the bag because they wouldn't fit in the container, I was WELL impressed. And you remember in Theme Park where you upped the amount of salt on the fries to make people go next door to the drinks stall to get a soda? Yeah: that. But the banana milkshake? Awesome. Just get one of those and go.

Came here for a quick bite to eat before heading to Digbeth for a gig and have been to Five Guys before in the past and the food is always really tasty - much better than Mcdonalds etc - but at over £20 for two burgers, fries and a drink this really is quite expensive for a fast food joint. However the burgers are delicious and you can see them being made while you wait and the staff are friendly and helpful but just find the layout of the restaurant quite cold but then again the whole point of the visit was for a quick bite to eat so we didn't stay very long, so not really an issue. Would I go again? Yes. Although expensive the burgers are absolutely amazing and so so tasty.

Staff show no sense of urgency, do not communicate with each other well and appear to be unfamiliar with basic tasks. Would review the food but I had to leave to get my train so I never got any.
