Fit Food Bistro Glasgow in Glasgow City

I had been working in the area for a few days, and Summit Cafe was recommended as a great spot for lunch. This is one of the best small cafes that I have ever been to! The service is unbelievable, it’s so incredibly brilliant that I returned every lunchtime without fail! One of the team Lois who is an absolutely wonderful soul, makes you feel super special, never failing to give you a warm and wonderful welcome. Exception service and exceptional food! Love it! By the way, I’m vegan, and Lois understood my needs from the word go! A great place for all, but especially vegans and vegetarians. Thank you Lois - definitely coming back again soon!

A fantastic place to eat. My wife visits here regularly and I also visit. The food is always amazing, cooked by the very pleasant Laura, who can make anything. Paul also does some of the cooking. The staff are lovely and so pleasant. Everything is served to a very high standard and so fresh. My wife is gluten intolerant and this is always catered for. She finds it so relaxing and says it’s her chill out place. She normally visits 2 or 3 times a week as it is so good. Definitely recommend.

I have been in three times in last ten days but will not return as staff prepared to condone a dog with feet on food service counter. You can have my business worth a few hundred pounds per year or welcome dogs into the cafe but not both. Good luck with your strategy. It did not work for Silverburn shopping centre.

Great breakfast at Summit Cafe including a sausage for the dog 🐕 The staff were really friendly and helpful and the freshly baked scones were delicious 😋

Unfortunately the cafe has changed its menu. It used to be a great place for breakfast with items like Eggs Benedict and other tasty dishes. The latest breakfast menu is basically fat based. If you like your eggs poached then forget it, fried or scrambled is all you get now. I tried the Scottish Breakfast which I used to enjoy there. This time round I had to settle for fried eggs so was already disappointed. The mushrooms (I'm assuming they were mushrooms) were so dried out and shrivelled they took a lot of chewing and the bacon wasn't mush better. The haggis and black pudding were ok and the beans at least were edible. Very disappointed.

Don’t be put off by the functional exterior this is a lovely light-filled space with a chilled vibe, great staff and a good selection of cakes and a first rate hot chocolate.

Great food and great atmosphere. Pre lockdown would eat or get takeaway from here at least once a week

Muy mal servicio. Pedimos almuerzo para llevar. Nada por 30 minutos. ¡Fui al escritorio para preguntar y le dije que el personal que tomaba las órdenes no había transmitido la orden al chef! Sin disculpas. . . Me preguntó si quería un reembolso. El chef, por otro lado, salió y se disculpó por su culpa. !

Visito el Fit Comida Bistro, típicamente unas 3 veces a la semana. Es un lugar estupendo para comer y todo el personal es excelente y muy eficiente. Es un lugar estupendo para relajarse y leer su papel.El gerente de Lois es extremadamente agradable, siempre toma tiempo para hablar con usted y es excelente en su trabajo. La comida es excelente y muy fresco.El resto del personal, Caitlin, ámbar, Callum, Rachael y Camilla también son excelentes. Siempre recuerda lo que quieres comer y nunca he tenido una mala comida. Hay otros, sin embargo, por desgracia no recuerdo los nombres.Normalmente la orden la sopa y opción sandwich y como soy gluten, es siempre atendidos.No dudaría en recomendar este lugar fabuloso.

This cafe is lovely. It is very welcoming and there is a great variety of soup/sandwiches for lunch. I had the brie, bacon and cranberry panini (The BBC) and it was delicious. My husband had the BLT - a classic but... Excellent value for money

He visitado el café varias veces a lo largo de los años. Situado en el entresuelo dentro de la gran tienda al aire libre de Tiso, es un poco básico, pero un activo para la tienda. La cafetería hace el mejor uso de la ubicación, pero básicamente es una cafetería dentro de una tienda.Me encanta un buen café y esto no decepciona. En el pasado he tenido sopa y sándwich / panini, que siempre ha sido agradable. Hay una gran selección de pasteles.Está bastante ocupado, pero siempre tenemos una mesa sin demasiados problemas.Es amigable y relajado, la vista se centra principalmente en el interior de la tienda, por lo que hay muchas oportunidades para sentarse y decidir si realmente necesita el siguiente kit. . .Lo usamos como un punto de encuentro conveniente, es fácil salir de la autopista, cerca del centro de la ciudad y tiene un amplio estacionamiento gratuito en el exterior. No creo que muchos buenos cafés tengan estacionamiento gratis en Glasgow City.

Este es un viejo favorito - gran comidas (bocadillos, ensaladas, sopas y patatas chaqueta) pero esta fue la primera vez que he hecho a tiempo para el desayuno. No me decepcionó. Huevos cocinados a la perfección, además de salchichas vegetarianas y tattie scone. Vale la (breve) a pie desde el centro de la ciudad.

This is a little gem of a place. The food is freshly prepared, wholesome and nutritious - I especially recommend the soups and the delicious cakes, which I have been told are baked on the premises.

The team here are brilliant, very attentive. We arrive in waves as we finish different runs with Glasgow Frontrunners Sunday groups and they aren't put out at all. The food is always good and coffee strong! Thanks guys!

This place is located inside the Tiso Outdoor Experience shop in Glasgow. I had their Fish Food sandwich but asked for the egg to be left out which they were happy to do. Very tasty and quick, friendly service.

Grabbed breakfast and a few sandwiches before hiking. Good stuff! We were concerned when we read about all the gluten fee options (as they usually taste bad), but were pleasantly surprised. The service was incredible.

Después de visitar la tienda hoy decidimos comer en el Fit Comida Bistro. Elegimos una mesa y la camarera vino a tomar nuestro pedido de sopa y un bocadillo. El menú "tomadas" de mi mano que esperamos en nuestra orden. El café era lo suficientemente ocupados, pero no todas las mesas estaban teniendo comida, así que pensamos que no tienen que esperar mucho tiempo. Qué equivocados estábamos! Varias personas vinieron después de nosotros y parecía también haber pedido el popular almorzar. Fueron sirvieron rápidamente mientras todavía estábamos esperando 30 minutos más tarde. Aunque seguimos buscando el contador para ver si nuestro almuerzo estaba listo y la camarera que nos atendió nos vio ella continuó a servir a otros clientes. No crítica la comida como que no! No volveré a comer en el Bistro!

El café está situado en el centro de al aire libre. Tiso La mayoría nunca sabrá que es allí, pero es sin duda vale la pena la búsqueda. Una de las oficinas de trabajo de cerca y a menudo tienen el almuerzo en la cafetería. La comida es excelente y el personal es fantástico. El menú es variado para almuerzos y bocadillos. El lugar siempre está lleno y no llevar. Está a sólo 10 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad y creo que muchos más puedan usar este café si sabían que existía. El menú es un poco diferente y todos los rellenos se pueden organizar en sándwiches, paninis o patatas al horno. También ofrecen sopa casera y un montón de bandeja de pastas y bollos. Nunca he tenido una mala experiencia. Compruébalo.

He bajado a la cafetería varias veces para comer. Es un verdadero oasis. La comida es fresca y abundante. El personal es siempre alegre y servicial. Buena comida, personal agradable, buen ambiente, ¿qué no?

I came to this place for lunch. It's located on the first floor of a sports shop. I had the chicken in baked potato along with soup. I really enjoyed it but careful with the potato as it was very hot. We liked the place so much that we visited it on the following day. This time I had panini with lentil soup. Simply fantastic.

Fit Food is located on the mezzanine floor of Tiso's outdoor clothing and equipment store in North Glasgow, and offers a range of fairly nutritious menu options for health & diet conscious customers. Don't be put off by this though as the menu has plenty for those that like a bun or two!Service is friendly and attentive and it's nice to have a wander around the shop before or after eating.The fit out is fairly basic, but clean and cafeteria style.I use Fit Food fairly frequently for quick lunches, coffee and snacks or takeaway, and have never been disappointed.

Popped in for lunch with the family. Great selection of tasty, healthy, food. I particularly like the Fish Food (Nicoise) salad. Good value and worth a look.

Good range of sandwiches and salads. Soups are always different and can be quite experimental. Lots of good ideas to try at home. Staff very pleasant.

This cafe is quite an attraction for Tiso as we keep returning for the lovely home baking and cake and then have a browse when we are there. I have never tasted Lemon cake as good as here and a very generous portion is served. Lots of lovely things on the menu and very reasonable. service has always been good.

The staff need a serious overhaul in customer service training. The cafe is convenient and has good food but the staff have a captive audience and act as if they don't care if you are there or not. I was there with my family on Sunday 7th December. They forgot to bring various things and had to be asked twice for three items. The head waitress waved a finger at me on the way past presumably indicating she would be back. It seems to be all about them and not the customer. Team leader and team training required in how to really serve customers.

My wife and I visit the Fit Food Bistro every week. My wife sometimes visits 3 times in a week. The food is excellent, always very fresh. There is a great variety available. The staff are all very pleasant and always know what we want to order. Never had a bad meal and always enjoy going back. My wife is gluten intolerant and this us we'll catered for.

First of all the photo above is NOT of this bistro which has very minimalist functional seating on the first floor of a large camping store. The staff are lovely, salads and sandwiches are fresh, delicious and generous and the kids menu is varied and well cooked and served. The breakfast is also good and cakes look lovely but I've never had room to verify this.Well worth a visit.

Like most people I came across this cafe when I was in Tisos after buying some outdoor gear. But it is worth going to in its own right for a quick lunch or snack if you are nearby. The home made soup was very good and plentiful. I also liked the range of cakes and other nice things to accompany my coffee.

Excellent café, located in Tiso sports shop. Fresh, healthy food choices with wide selection of soups, sandwiches, and home baking. Also a daily international sharing platter. Been there many times and never disappointed. Seating bit basic but the food more that makes up for that. Another big bonus is having free car parking outside. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous food, fresh and tasty. Excellent, friendly service.5 minute walk from Buchanan Street Bus Station - makes a really good change from all the usual cafes and food outlets. Ample car parking too.

Excellent variety of light snacks, soups and sandwiches (would wholeheartedly recommend the Italian Stallion). As the name suggests, they pride themselves on fresh, wholesome ingredients which also includes the cakes...!!! They also cater for a range of dietary requirements, perfect for my hubby, who has a gluten intolerance. Excellent menu for the little one's and there's not a chip in sight...!!! There is not much in the way of atmosphere, being situated inside the Tiso Outdoor Experience, but the service more than makes up for that. Yes, it is off the beaten track, yes, you will find yourself browsing round Tiso afterwards...but you do have free parking and the food's delicious...!!!
