Fisk and Chips in Tonbridge and Malling

At 9pm on a Monday night, a few places were open in the town. Selecting fish and chips. Was served to the table, not over hot. few people called in for carry out with the main business appearing to be via online platforms. As per the grading, the food was pretty average.

Gone down hill since new people have taken over. It was the best but is now average at best. It used to be our favourite but not now!!

This is by far the best fish and chip restaurant in Kent, whether we order, go in and collect, food is always piping hot, service is excellent, staff are kind, most of all full of flavour, everyone is so quick to leave a bad review but not quick enough to leave a good one! Despite world returning to normal they still use vest COVID-19 practice, wearing their Samanta Tina mask, well done! LEAVE OUR FISK AND CHIPS ALONE!

I ordered via the website around 6.30 for collection at 7pm. The food wasnt put into individual portions which made it very difficult for us to eat. It was also cold, and the chips appeared to have been reheated and not fresh. We have been ordering weekly, and its been getting worse and worse. Ive been trying to phone them to talk directly but they dont pick up the phone. We wont be ordering again.

Almost an hours wait for a small order on a week night , food then arrived barely warm.. had to reheat , burger bun was burnt , Oreo milkshake was loose and just tasted like milk..

I have been to this restaurant often over the last 6 months and have been greated and treated with respect. Not this time! A new, very rude, woman server not only didn't acknowledge my entry into the restaurant, but also showed me such disgust when I asked her for fish to be freshly fried there, and later came back for salt and vinegar (which I had already told her colleague I wanted). I would avoid this place if she is still there, it is not fair to tarnish the enterprise just because of the attitude of this one woman.

I can’t really sugar coat it, it was crap. Took an hour and a half for fish and chips, donner kebab, salad and pot of chilli sauce. Chips were dry, food was cold, no salad, no chilli sauce. Contacted Fisk and chips said they were sorry, I asked for the missing items they said they had no drivers, I asked if they could contact the Uber driver they said they had no means of contacting them!? So I contacted the Uber driver... go figure??? 🤨🙄 he said just get a refund didn’t, really care and ended the call. Gave up Re-ordered from Sanchos, had it in 15 mins

Stick to fish and chips, because your kebab was awful. And you forgot our chips, when we returned to collect them from Leigh-tonbridge they offered us a can of LILT! Then they said we can only have “fish&chips” chips because they had closed the “kebab side” shocked!! THEN!! Found a piece of plastic in my salad!! Wouldn’t eat here again!! Kebab express!! All the way!! So disappointed!!

I love this place. Prior to lockdown the sit in area was so clean and customer service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The takeaway service is also excellent, everything cooked freshly and service with a smile.

Haddock and chips was excellent!! Lovely tasty fresh fish.The chips were delicious too. I ordered through the just eat ap but they failed to send a driver to collect the order . I spoke to the owner of Fisk and chips who very kindly delivered the food to me himself .

If you want the food you ordered don’t order from these lot!!!! Two times in a row I’ve had missing items! Ring to say they’ve missed items and they expect you to go to pick the missing items up. Never again

We were looking for a take out late at night and came across FISK. We were really impressed, the food was cooked while we waited and was soooooo tasty. This is now our go to fish & chip shop. It’s not as cheap as other fish & chip shops, but you get what you pay for! 👍🏼 Defo recommend.

This fish and chip shop is very very overpriced, the Savaloy was tasteless and the bread rolls were burger buns, shocking! Use avebury Avenue fish bar literally around the corner. Do not give then any trade, they should be ashamed of there terrible food.

Absolutely disgusting. £3.99 + £2.50 delivery for a large chips, and the portion delivered was ridiculously small. I rang Fisk to complain, and was offered large chips later in the week (no use when I’d ordered them now) and was subsequently told that I’m a number not a customer, and nothing more they can do. Quite a racket taking £6.49 of my money for this. Absolutely criminal. Vile vile business ripping off the people of Tonbridge. This was our first time using Fisk. Haddock was superb. Homemade Tartare sauce was delicious so creamy. Definitely be using again

Takeaway fish and chips, chips curry sauce, mushy peas all fine, fish very dry and chewy, multiple friends have all said the same on varied days. Very annoying they will not allow you to buy a small cod on its own without chips.
