Took forever to get order then it was wrong

FRAUDSTERS I went to your drive-through. I ordered and paid. When I went to collect my order, you said you didn't have it. That I should "park up". When I asked for a refund, you said you couldn't refund. Excuse me?! My time isn't yours to play with. If you can't provide what you sell, then you must apologise and issue a refund. That's how normal business is done. People who pretend they have something to sell, then don't deliver and don't refund are FRAUDSTERS!!

Unfortunately this particular McDonald's all ways seems to be a very slow service even when it's not busy.

Every single time they say “please wait in the car park” and I would give them a 0 if I could

So many just eat orders that they cant keep up with standard orders.

This is the first McDonald's where all my order was actually hot.

The only reason for this high rating is Lila from the aylesford team, she helped me ensure I could redeem everything from my app and made the entire ordering experience friendly even though this place can get busy. Unfortunately as many reviews state in the past this place has had some of the worst wait times in the area. I have no idea the cause but even quieter periods would be long waits and issues with food. Thanks to this member of staff despite these troubles I was very happy with my ordering experience at the drive thru.

I ordered a large hot chocolate. There was a lot of people so it had been left on the side and by the time it got to me, Luke warm and was only half filled, I had payed for a large. Once the rush stopped I showed one of the employees and he offered to remake it I agreed. He returned about 10 seconds later having put some more cream on the top. My drink was now barely warm and half empty still. Trusting him not to be trying to trick customers I left and didn’t see until I had gone. I had just finished a 13 hour shift to half a cold and lumpy mess

Not had a McDonalds in a long time. The food was average, but the place was terrible tables were not cleaned, toilets were a mess, like they hadn't seen a clean through probably since the morning start, so to use the facilities at 6pm, was not impressed. Doubt we would ever use this place again.

This is by far the worst McDonald's I have ever been to, consistently bad service, cold food and food missing. I waited 20 mins for a "Drive through" order which was once again, stone cold. Never in my nearly 50 years of eating McDonald's have I "EVER!" HAD A COLD APPLE PIE!!!! Utterly ridiculous place is Aylesford McDonald's....

Food is below standard, staff and friendly enough. Food order is always either delayed, something missing, massive queue or not what you ordered. Macdonalds is no longer a fast food outlet, but wait...wait and wait! This is one of the worst branch's of macdonalds for speed if service .

Would give no stars if possible. The whole experience was awful. Very slow service and when it came the drinks were cold, food just about warm. Took drinks back to counter the girl took them from me, not a word and disappeared, I had to find someone else to explain she’d gone and hadn’t come back. Finally given more drinks but they tasted disgusting. I was given the excuse that they just “press a button”. Avoid. I wouldn’t go back.

Waited over 20mins for cold food, took it back and was given cold food again as a replacement. Didn’t bother taking it back the 2nd time. Avoid !!!

Great food, didn't have to wait to long.

Took me an hour to eat here. The drive through is like a Venus flytrap. Once your in you can't get out .. and it crawled. Girls told me they were under staffed and it showed. BUT it's the layout.. one lane bumper to bumper . Never again.. food was ok though... Mind you long enough to prepare it!

This is my local McDonalds, usually everything is fine. However, whenever I order delivery on the McDonald’s App via Uber Eats from here, there is a 10-20% chance that there is something missing. I ordered a triple cheeseburger and there was no triple cheeseburger. I contact Uber eats, they refund me for the triple cheeseburger but do not refund me on any delivery cost. The delivery cost was 60% of my order and the main part of my lunch, the triple cheeseburger, was missing!

This is a very poor McDonald's. Always saying they're understaffed, so food often takes 25 minutes and is cold. Most staff don't care and are rude about it although some are nice.

Food came out wrong. Asked for cheese burger and came out as a hamburger. Took 15mins for a cheeseburger to arrive which was just warm. Also presentation was poor as it looked like it had been slapped together. Not impressed at all.

Consistently the worst McDonald's I've been to. On multiple occasions Happy Meals have not had the advertised toys in them, they clearly have a stock of random old ones they throw in for some reason which is very disappointing. Managers are argumentative when confronted about it. Food is almost always wrong. Seems the staff don't think there's any difference between the "with bacon" version of a burger such as the Big Tasty. Receipt will say with bacon, as will the box, but the bacon isn't there. Maybe that sounds petty but it happens more often than it doesn't in my experience, when you're in a drive through picking up a mobile order you don't really have a chance to check either. Get home to your cold burger missing the food you paid extra for. Parking is rubbish too, drive through is very slow even if it's only a few cars. Go to the one in Snodland instead of you can.

I've been here many times and the food is rarely hot and it always takes 20-30mins to get the food if you dine in. They cheat their numbers by clearing your food as being collected on their system when they haven't even prepared it. Can't see it ever changing as it's always been like this.

Pure frustration every time I come this McDonald’s, I promise you if you go through the drive thru you will be asked to park up and wait 20 minutes minimum for your food… And the best bit your food still somehow comes out cold…

SOOOOOOOO SLOW!!!!!! We sat in a queue for 10 minutes before we could even put our order in that we had submitted on the app and sat for a further 15 minutes before collecting our food. Never been to such a slow McDonalds ever!

Visited this McDonald's for a quick pit stop late night, around 3am. Got a coffee without waiting long, and was able to use their WC. All good.

How can it possibly take 30 minutes to make a McDonald’s breakfast. Seriously I cannot fathom the incompetence of the workers here. Appalling don’t bother

Living in area for 14 months, absolutely the worst service and high gene of all McDonald's I've been in my 48years of life (multiple times).

The service is terrible here! I’ve never been through the drive through and not been asked to park up and wait for over 15 minutes for my ‘fast food’. The guy in front of us had also waited 30 mins for cheeseburgers. Avoid this one!

Been in the drive through for so long what is this?

My order was cold, almost as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for ages. The fries were limp and the burger was barely warm. Won't be returning to this location anytime soon.

Over 20 minutes queue at the drive through. Ordered through the app. When I finally got to the second window I was asked what I ordered!? Then they found the ticket with the order and still got the whole order wrong. When told they quickly changed it but got it wrong again!! Finally got it sorted on the 3rd attempt.. McDonald's are getting slower and slower anyway but this is the worst McDonald's experience I've had. Rubbish all over the place just shows there's terrible management at this location. I've been using McDonald's less and less and this just sums up why.

Worst maccys in the country shame you can't put -5☆, waited 15 minutes just to order then further 30 to receive nearly 50 minutes all round at 1am if it was a actual restaurant would never have paid. Shocking

Fast breakfast it ain't. Walk in service is 3rd to get any fiid behind drive in and delivery services. Waited 15mins for a mcmuffin!

Useless. Drive through and have to wait for food every time. Tonight we are parked up waiting for the chips to be cooked.

Worse mcdonald's this side of the UK, rude staff, slow service and disgusting food

Although there was a 45-minute wait at the drive-thru, I was impressed with the quality of the food. My wrap was hot, made exactly as I ordered (without egg or ketchup), and my missus enjoyed her meal as well. Despite the long wait, the staff got the order spot on, which made up for the delay.

Terrible service. Just popped in for something quick and had to be somewhere and waiting made me late. This is the second time I’ve been here and had to wait a very long time for my food. You normally have to wait up to 30-40 mins to get anything. They also make sure they get mcdeliveries out before giving out food to people who go in to order, that must be their priority.

Rude staff, crap food nothing good

This branch was clean and nice and warm on a chilly day. I ordered the filet of fish meal. To be honest it could have been hotter but was ok. My order came up in under 5 minutes. To save money,download the McDonalds app and also earn points for freebies. Contact with staff was minimal and matter of fact but not impolite. There are toilets onsite. This branch has a drive through. There is outside seating. Parking on the retail park is free for up to 90 minutes and is monitored by CCTV

Incredibly slow service with drive through getting the priority over those of us trying to eat in, having to wait 20 minutes for a simple Big Mac meal. When it did arrive the chips were cold and soggy and the burger was deconstructed in the box. This experience wasn't isolated to just me, literally 10 other customers were stood complaining whilst the staff appeared oblivious to their surroundings. Yes it's McDonald's but surely it should be better than this.

This McDonald's is buy far the worst I think it's largely down to poor management at all levels. The food is often wrong , cold or just missing. When it's busy the staff have no communication or let you know about the wait times or even let you know there be at the till soon. And when it's not busy the staff are normally chatting casually slowly packing your stuff (witch is fine !! If it wasn't cold or missing ) last Friday I when In and there was 3 people working just three on a Friday night !! I was soo mad when they got my order wrong 3 times and finally when I got my food it was cold. But the employees look like that wanted to die honestly all three was trying. I got the impression the franchise owner don't care about there staff at all.

When someone says Mc Donald’s you automatically think of ‘fast food’. Unfortunately, workers here do not understand the concept of fast as it took over 45 minutes to receive two food items. After asking multiple times for our order we were told they were just finishing up the order and getting it packed. The last time we asked, I think the person below the manager said and I quote “I don’t have the ticket for that so get them to write down what they ordered”. Please bear in mind that we had already waited at this point for 30 minutes. After still not receiving our food we spoke to the manager who had offered 2 free meals and our order sorted. Also the food was cold when we received it! If you are going through the drive-thru you will be waiting around 30/40 minutes. Do not do this!

Absolutely fuming, ordered via McDonald's app over an hour ago - 3 drivers picked up and and so on... Food is stuck in a loop that we can't cancel Tried ringing hermitage lane McDonald's repeatedly to cancel order but was repeatedly hung up on my a member of staff. McDonald's, and their contractors Uber eats and McDonald's staff at hermitage lane are a disgrace. Will never order from them again.

Awful. always busy. Missing items in my drive through order, yes forgot to check but shouldn’t have to and got home to 2 items missing. Not driving all the way back now and try to phone and number just always engaged. Foods always cold despite waiting

Understaffed! Requested a refund but staff denied and said it was company policy as under new management (not sure what that’s got to do with anything). Food took over 30mins, order incorrect. All tables dirty with no one cleaning. McDonalds now days are more concerned with serving the Deliveroo drivers than giving good service to customers standing in front of them. Very poor. Will not be returning to this restaurant. Bring back Ronald he would run it better!

Easily the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to and I've racked up a few in 40+ years. I only go here because it's my nearest. They hand over about one order every five mins yet it's teeming with customers.

Ordered a double big mac received a single big mac was a takeaway so not able to check it asap , very bad, theft

Probably the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. Yea it is clean but the food takes a million years to get done and I waited more than 30 minutes to get served. I have waited less time in a proper restaurant. The management should seriously help the poor staff to get orders out

Quick and easy self service. The food was as expected and really hit the spot. It was a quick turn around even with the bespoke orders.

It's a pretty standard McDonald's. The main issue is the terrible layout of the drive through/car park, but the staff can't help that. Always good to get stuck at the back of the que whilst your food goes cold trying to get back out of the car park. I've edited my review down to 2 stars having eaten from here a couple more times, when every single order has had something wrong, or missing. I don't bother eating here now. We've now been stuck in the drive thru que for 20 minutes...I'd imagine we'll have to park up to. We always do. Who knew a Saturday night might be busy?! The burgers will look like they've been sat on too.

Absolute carnage. Queues staff dont know what they are doing. Uber and delivery drivers everywhere waiting. Waited 40 mins for a bacon and egg mcmuffin meal. Never going there again. Order number did nt even appear on screen .

Not exactly fast food as when the food was ordered at the drive thru, I had to park the car and wait ages for my food to come. The order was not big at all, the food was delicious.

40 minutes from pulling up to the drive through, to collecting our two cheese burgers 5pm - 5.40pm, the drive through wasn't busy whatsoever neither was the actual mcdonalds 15 minutes spent parked up, went in and asked a member of staff about our burgers, then another, both stating that it's getting sorted 10 minutes later still nothing, however once asked, the woman serving up front without uniform did resolve my issue quickly, but 40 minutes for two single cheeseburgers is insane Wouldve all been resolved if two cheese burgers were made in a timely fashion between ordering and collecting, and not having to park up, as you often have to here Food is fine, it's mcdonalds If you go here, just get drinks and save yourself the hassle

If you want fast food go somewhere else. Coffee and a muffin 15 mins I gave up waiting.

Awful, never received my order and took my money. Can't get it back as customer service are useless and no help whatsoever.

I understand that everyone is busy and it's hard work, but the staff has no idea what they're doing, their lack of intelligence is destroying the system, and specifically the people who clean, the cleaning lady was hiding in the men's toilet and there was food everywhere on the floor plus spilled drinks on the stairs, and instead of wiping the floor she wiped one table for 10 minutes, I'm very sorry, I was here a few years ago and the situation was the same.

I never normally write reviews for fast food, but this is the most incompetent McDonald's I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. Waited 30 mins for a cheeseburger meal and there was no queue. All the workers were miserable and looked like they didn't want to be there. No apology for the long wait. Absolutely abysmal. Avoid

Possibly the slowest McDonald's in the world where 90% of the staff look clueless, 25 mins for 2 sausage and egg muffins, had to complain to get them.

I get it’s fast food but I don’t know how everytime I get takeaway that pretty much the whole order is wrong I just my delivery and everything was wrong and 3 things missing if you go in to get your food it’s fine just don’t order takeaway

Great fast service with hot food

I am giving it 4 stars in total because I'm not a fan of McDonald's. Im not really a fast food person, but if I liked fast food, I'd give it 5 stars on food. The service is good it's not slow, but it's not like you have food 10 seconds after sitting down. The atmosphere is good I would appreciate if there was like a sign that said 'make this a pleasant environment to eat in' especially if you aren't going to get home until late so that's 4 stars from me!

Place is dirty tablets wasn't cleaned not even 1 no were 2 sit inside drink on the seats. Staff didn't seem 2 care either. Even we said there no tablets we going take it away. Just got the bags for us 2 put food in. Wel been report 2 enivermont health

Quickly delivered food. Easy to order. We chose a table number and food was brought to the table. Very nice except burgers- constructed like cheese and ketchup was thrown at a angle which was disappointing. Food hot and the restaurant was very clean. Toilets very well maintained and clean

They ran out of coffee if you can believe it and I haven’t seen a slower McDonald’s than this one. I’ve been in a queue at the drive for over 15 minutes

All of my previous bad experiences with this establishment, were completely negated by the amazing service and friendly demeanour of 1 member of staff. Chloe Proud gave me and my passenger the most amazing, friendliest service we have EVER experienced at a McDonald's. Polite, cheerful, and very pleasant, despite despite late hour. The most endearing experience I've had with a fast food establishment. She is truly a credit to the team.

I’m not normally one to complain when it comes to fast food but when your food takes over 30 minutes to come out (ordered past midnight and no one was in store ordering) but it still comes out cold, that’s when I’m upset. At the 20 minute mark of us having no food my partner went and asked how much longer, the lady as the service desk advised him that she was just waiting for the food. About 10 minutes later we got it. Everything we ordered was stone cold. So I don’t understand what food they were waiting for. After getting everything replaced (which took another 15 minutes) we were still met with unhappy staff and a dirty restaurant. Not one table was cleaned throughout our entire visit. Safe to say I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Drive through is useless queuing on to road. Staff don't care more important to talk to each other than serve customers. Delivery drivers add to the confusion. This site is badly run. Avoid

We waited 50 minutes at the drive thru due to lack of staff. Food was cold and no apology from the staff, just attitude.

Difficult to describe this appalling excuse for a slow food venue. Only come here if you have around 30 minutes to kill, drive through isn't any better, I've had time to get a signal, look up the Google page and write this review while waiting in the drive through queue. Don't worry it's completely legal as I haven't moved, handbrake is on, engine off while nothing has moved for the past 20 minutes.....

This place either needs more staff or better training for the staff there because when we go through the drive thru, we either have to park up and wait for our food or the food comes out straight but cold.

This McDonald's has a drive through, collection and seating. Reasonably modern on a small trading estate. Clean and staff seemed fine.

Every time I’ve been here it’s the slowest ‘fast food’ place I’ve been to. I’m sat in the drive through now for a coffee, and I’ve not moved in 25 minutes. Will never use this place again and if you want fast food go elsewhere

Awful service and food. Had to send the food back as the fries weren’t cooked properly. The burgers were cold. It took 20 mins to receive a replacement. We were given a cloth to clean a table ourselves whilst a staff member stood at the till serving absolutely no one looking like they were ready to go home. I know it’s a cheap fast food outlet but really?

Firstly, the drive thru entrance is badly signed. The entrance is at the side of the retail park, set back from the store. Some idiot blocked the entrance so I had to park and walk in (which is fine, I’m not lazy). Service was extremely slow. Rude and miserable looking staff with no manners (a simple smile and “enjoy” when you collect your food would go a long way). Either teach your staff some basic social skills, or sort out your recruitment demographics (I.e. stop employing mannerless school kids). Food was of substandard quality. Their prices have gone up massively over the recent years - for which I hate them for with a passion. Will not be going to this franchise anymore after 8 years of being a loyal customer.

Delay with food & drinks being put together meant fries & burgers were cold. This was despite me customising mine to ensure hot food. So many collections from Deliveroo and other delivering apps mean the focus is on them and not face-to-face customers.

Ridiculously slow service, have never not been asked to park up when going through the drive thru, the last time it took 15 minutes from paying for my food to it being brought over to my car.

This review is about the McD's drivethrough in Tunbridge Wells near the main hospital. The service was poor. We had to wait for ages. When it eventually arrived, the food was cold and tasted HORRIBLE. The cold drinks were measured short, and when we complained to the staff, they were unhelpful. I would never go to this branch again.

Here you can wait for food until you retire, online orders have to stop, management is zero, no organization, the staff hang around inside like flies without heads. I would give zero for service if I could.

Drive through. Waited for ages for our meal, ordered a double big mac amongst other things and only received a basic one although was charged for the double. Food was also tepid rather than hot/warm. Wouldn’t usually have complained about the temperature but the lack of correct burger has left an unsavoury taste in my mouth. Couldn’t get through on the phone to complain officially.

It’s McDonald’s and I appreciate that, but what you get is so unlike the advertised product these days

It's McDonald's, you get what you expect. I'd rather have a burger king though.

Typical modern McDonald's where you are directed towards ordering on a tablet. Seems minimal staff to customer interaction is the aim. Food itself was good and the hash brown lovely and hot. Sadly the prices keep going up so no longer a value option for breakfast.
