They ran out of coffee if you can believe it and I haven’t seen a slower McDonald’s than this one. I’ve been in a queue at the drive for over 15 minutes

All of my previous bad experiences with this establishment, were completely negated by the amazing service and friendly demeanour of 1 member of staff. Chloe Proud gave me and my passenger the most amazing, friendliest service we have EVER experienced at a McDonald's. Polite, cheerful, and very pleasant, despite despite late hour. The most endearing experience I've had with a fast food establishment. She is truly a credit to the team.

I’m not normally one to complain when it comes to fast food but when your food takes over 30 minutes to come out (ordered past midnight and no one was in store ordering) but it still comes out cold, that’s when I’m upset. At the 20 minute mark of us having no food my partner went and asked how much longer, the lady as the service desk advised him that she was just waiting for the food. About 10 minutes later we got it. Everything we ordered was stone cold. So I don’t understand what food they were waiting for. After getting everything replaced (which took another 15 minutes) we were still met with unhappy staff and a dirty restaurant. Not one table was cleaned throughout our entire visit. Safe to say I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Drive through is useless queuing on to road. Staff don't care more important to talk to each other than serve customers. Delivery drivers add to the confusion. This site is badly run. Avoid

We waited 50 minutes at the drive thru due to lack of staff. Food was cold and no apology from the staff, just attitude.

Difficult to describe this appalling excuse for a slow food venue. Only come here if you have around 30 minutes to kill, drive through isn't any better, I've had time to get a signal, look up the Google page and write this review while waiting in the drive through queue. Don't worry it's completely legal as I haven't moved, handbrake is on, engine off while nothing has moved for the past 20 minutes.....

30 minutes wait on food at a McDonald's. Awful.

This place either needs more staff or better training for the staff there because when we go through the drive thru, we either have to park up and wait for our food or the food comes out straight but cold.

This McDonald's has a drive through, collection and seating. Reasonably modern on a small trading estate. Clean and staff seemed fine.

The slowest drive-thru I have ever been to. Total time taken to order and receive food was 45 minutes.

Every time I’ve been here it’s the slowest ‘fast food’ place I’ve been to. I’m sat in the drive through now for a coffee, and I’ve not moved in 25 minutes. Will never use this place again and if you want fast food go elsewhere

Awful service and food. Had to send the food back as the fries weren’t cooked properly. The burgers were cold. It took 20 mins to receive a replacement. We were given a cloth to clean a table ourselves whilst a staff member stood at the till serving absolutely no one looking like they were ready to go home. I know it’s a cheap fast food outlet but really?

Firstly, the drive thru entrance is badly signed. The entrance is at the side of the retail park, set back from the store. Some idiot blocked the entrance so I had to park and walk in (which is fine, I’m not lazy). Service was extremely slow. Rude and miserable looking staff with no manners (a simple smile and “enjoy” when you collect your food would go a long way). Either teach your staff some basic social skills, or sort out your recruitment demographics (I.e. stop employing mannerless school kids). Food was of substandard quality. Their prices have gone up massively over the recent years - for which I hate them for with a passion. Will not be going to this franchise anymore after 8 years of being a loyal customer.

Delay with food & drinks being put together meant fries & burgers were cold. This was despite me customising mine to ensure hot food. So many collections from Deliveroo and other delivering apps mean the focus is on them and not face-to-face customers.

Ridiculously slow service, have never not been asked to park up when going through the drive thru, the last time it took 15 minutes from paying for my food to it being brought over to my car.

This review is about the McD's drivethrough in Tunbridge Wells near the main hospital. The service was poor. We had to wait for ages. When it eventually arrived, the food was cold and tasted HORRIBLE. The cold drinks were measured short, and when we complained to the staff, they were unhelpful. I would never go to this branch again.

Here you can wait for food until you retire, online orders have to stop, management is zero, no organization, the staff hang around inside like flies without heads. I would give zero for service if I could.

Drive through. Waited for ages for our meal, ordered a double big mac amongst other things and only received a basic one although was charged for the double. Food was also tepid rather than hot/warm. Wouldn’t usually have complained about the temperature but the lack of correct burger has left an unsavoury taste in my mouth. Couldn’t get through on the phone to complain officially.

It’s McDonald’s and I appreciate that, but what you get is so unlike the advertised product these days

It's McDonald's, you get what you expect. I'd rather have a burger king though.

Typical modern McDonald's where you are directed towards ordering on a tablet. Seems minimal staff to customer interaction is the aim. Food itself was good and the hash brown lovely and hot. Sadly the prices keep going up so no longer a value option for breakfast.

Overpriced poor quality food I should have known better

Played me about for TWO hours for no good reason. Ordered delivery at 10pm to our hotel as there was no other food nearby and we were very hungry having just arrived. Delivery was accepted and apparently my order (not a massively large order just 4 individual items) was being prepared. Had 3 delivery pickup people circle around the mcdonalds and wait by it then cancel which I thought was odd. Tried ringing the restraunt as it was getting quite frustrating that we has gone from “preparing order” then “picking up order” then back to “preparing your order” and for 3 pickup drivers to cancel after waiting there but had no answer from the restraunt. 4th driver phoned me up and said that the mcdonalds had actually been closed not letting people in due to staffing issues but not to cancel as the food was being prepared now. Waited a further 20 minutes and the restraunt cancelled my entire order. If so short staffed why on earth would the order be accepted in the first place? Why play me about for TWO hours if you couldnt fulfil the order? You left it so long and said NOTHING, attempts to contact the restraunt directly failed as they can’t answer the phone. Should have just declined it in first place or informed your customers of whats going on. Based on the other recent reviews on here I am not in the least bit surprised, wish I had read the reviews beforehand and ordered a KFC

I only ever go into McDonald's occasionally because my little girl and foster daughter like it (unfortunately). They usually have chicken nuggets which, let's face it are pretty hard to muck up. Despite this Aylesford McDonald's have managed it on more than. Issues ranging from cold nuggets missing nuggets, (probably did not have enough cooked and thought they would get away with it), and hard (batter) on the nuggets which to me indicates they were under the lights longer than they should have been. (passed their disposal time), chucked back in the fryer to heat them back up. We have had a few overcooked that very crispy in the batter which we often have to 'peel' the batter off. Other meals have come out cold, items missing items on multiple occasions. That brings me to today. I ordered a limited edition raspberry and chocolates pie. First one I received was almost 1hr and a half past it's disposal time ☹️ second one had was obviously reheated in the fryer, put in a new box with a new label. Went to eat it and the filling could not be be seen. Assuming it was stuck around the inside of the pie or had leaked our when they reheated it. The final straw was when I took a bite. Tasted very unpleasant. I took it to the counter and show them the 'fresh new one', after my previously. I just gave it to the staff member and left. Did not bother with a 3rd new pie. If McDonald's is so hard up they can keep the £1.99. Frankly I did not want to see the manager again. It was her the let that the member of staff to eat it again burning the crispy out side and pie and making the stick to the inside ot the pie. If anyone should be enforcing the process it should be the manager. She condoned this behavior and handed me the horrible hard pie with no filling. If the manager does not care and Is happy to serve out subpar food and service then then the staff will follow. I am going stop using Macdonalds. I the quality. And service is below par. Too expensive. The £1 items are not available now

This McDonald's drive in is a joke you might aswell go in it takes that long they just take your order a shove you in the car park with 20 others by the time the person has walked around for 10 minutes trying to find your car your food is cold

Waited 20 minutes for Pancakes, whilst waiting they made our coffees and left them to one side ,20 minutes later Pancakes and served with our 20minute made coffee,when we mentioned this all we got was a grunt ,so along came two hot cups of Milk,think they forgot the coffee grains , this is not the first time we have been served with a grunt and the wrong food either ,needless to say goodbye Aylesford MACDs . all other outlets in the area no issues...I think management really need to get a grip here

the staff does not pay attention to you

Poor customer service, the toilets have a bad smell, the manageress is rude to customer, and the staff are rude to customers ,people are waiting for a long time to get served. I'm so disappointed. You can't serve food when toilets are smelling.

The worst mc Donald in Kent poorly managed never had an order right here !!! And is famous for parking anything and everything going through drive through. Staff have no care or drive Go to snodland or Maidstone not worth you money

Never in the history of macdonalds have I ever had a cold apple pie 🤷‍♂️ before, they are famously like lava inside so shows how bad this particular store is . FAST food is broken when they changed the way you order , burgers are put together with no care chips normally overdone and rock hard sharpe bits after u eat a few . Every time I have been here the past year the milkshake machine is not working , they have run out of certain burgers think I’m done here , u can hear people waiting pretty much feel the same way , and the new hat trick don’t waste ur money Big Mac has more taste

Chaotic service, this kitchen can't cope with demand from the drive thru and online orders as well as customers arriving in the restaurant. I had to wait 40 minutes to receive my burger and milkshake.

Not busy when we visited the drive-through - took our order home at the end of a long day (live just over 5 mins away). The quarter pounder with cheese was missing and the big mac had very little, if any, sauce, the fries were almost cold (ate a couple on the drive home), no onion and only one slice of gherkin in the hamburger, burgers looked like they had been sitting a while, dry and not really very tasty, no milkshakes available. 2 stars as chicken selects were actually quite nice. Looked understaffed, so 1 star also as the girls in the drive-through were trying by their best. Rarely go to McDonalds, so have no idea if this visit is typical. That said, I won't re-visit.

As blue light workers and very busy we stopped for our first coffee but to be turned away at 10pm. We know this as being a 24hour

Sloooooow and the wait in the narrow drive through between buildings means you're sat in fumes while you wait. Entrance is tricky to find if you don't know it well.

Staff is lazy The manager with green hair is awful and mean You ask a question you get a nasty look And being ignored by the staff And if they answer The answer is I’m stressed Leave me alone or go somewhere else

I'm now going to disown my grandchildren for taking me there, how anyone eats that food is beyond me .

The slowest McDonalds known to man

Good sized store but the service was slow. Overall food quality has gone down. There were a bunch of kids shouting , throwing stuff around but the staff did nothing. Overall disappointing. The size of all the burgers have gone down dramatically. Big Mac 8s now a Small Mac.

I just don't recommend it, I come from far away and get a bad deal, that's not customer service, I think they need some kinds of customer service.

How much thinner can you make a burger, big Mac was nothing like advertised the Mac crispy chicken burger had mayonnaise on one halves only, but into it dripped all over the place as dry as anything the other side. Out side litter all over the place would only go back if I had too. Very disappointed.

Ordered a chicken quarter pounder but got a Beef quarter pounder in a chicken quarter pounder box. No care no attention and didn't careless.

They never have what we ask for and it takes 45 minutes to get our food staff are rude and not a nice place to go to wouldn’t recommend it as a place to go also it always forgets stuff on your order the staff here always seem so moody and they sound rude when taking food orders also their bins are always over flowing with rubbish and there’s always rubbish on the floor from people trying to get the rubbish in the bin My stepdads Big Mac only had 1 burger in and they forgot to add my mums cheese bites on our list I wouldn’t go to the maccys in Aylesford coz they are rubbish

My feelings are ambivalent. We were there at dawn, we dont live nearby so we never used this place before. The entrance for the drive through is a living nightmare. It was very early in the morning but some cars still missed the entrance because it not very clear where to drive in and then they just try to correct it, not watching for other cars. We were still sleepy and wanted to grab some coffee and I though I bring also a breakfast for later at home. Coffee was fine, you know, it was not a fancy one but from Mc Donald's you don't expect a 5star coffee so it was okay and I was actually quite happy with it. When I arrived home, 30 min drive, the meat was somehow off in the bun. It wasn't smelly or something but it tasted weird and I have to bin the bite. I offered to a family member to try it and they also couldn't eat it because it tasted so bad. Maybe I will use this restaurant an other time, because staff was fine, coffee was fine, but never again for take away.

Worst Macdonald's in Kent. Food was in a very bad condition and was returned only to come back again.. Crushed.. Returned again. Not hot either. Rubbish experience and will drive on by the next time I'm in the area

Takes the word Fast Food to a different level… called Extremely Slow food. Always had an issue here and told every time to park up. Then constant issues with missing food, lost orders. Need McDonald’s management involved. 2 years and still same issues

Had to park in order bay, waited over 15 minutes, chips were cold and soggy, big mac chicken burger was cold and chewy and apple pie was even cold. Started eating whilst still in bay. Dont have time to go and complain....i will never eat here again..disgusting..and more frustratingly nothing will get done..

Drive through is slowest I've experienced and milkshake machine is never working. Update - went inside today and service was still stupidly slow. Honestly the saddest excuse for a McDonald's. There was a ridiculous wait for orders. We gave up in the end and asked for a refund which also took bloody ages.

Drive through rubbish as they make you wait in the carpark for your order even when it's not busy. And the food is always cold.

I don’t usually review fast food joints unless there is an are of concern. I personally think that the staff need to pay more attention on the quality of their presentation in this store. If we spent a couple of pounds on a double cheeseburger. We would ideally like to see it look like one rather than unwrapping it to find it looks like it’s been hit by a steam train.. and before the response comes back saying that it must have happened in transit.. then I couldn’t have possibly missed the absolute car crash between the counter and my table which was 5 meters away. The staff are rude and they were not allowing customers to use the free ketchup pumps meaning we had to spend 40p on sachets of ketchup. Ridiculous!

Visited late night on drive back from airport. Food was ok, but restaurant was unclean with every table covered in either empty food containers or ketchup. Toilets upstairs was closed. Downstairs toilet locked (they had lost key).

This is the worst drive thru. Food takes forever. You have to waye for every drive thru order.

Very slow drive thru, order taken quickly but had to wait ages in parking area for food to come out, I thought at least its been cooked fresh but it was stone cold.

It is a fairly large and well-equipped McDonalds store, but .... The quality of the food (in terms of freshness and appearance) is only average. A "fresh" double cheeseburger looks like what you pulled out from under your bum. The staff is unfortunately imprecise and very slow. For example, you had to wait more than 20 minutes for 1x wrap of the day, 2x double cheeseburgers and 1x halloumi fries sharebox and 1x happy meal menu. As it turned out later, we did not even receive the halloumi fries share box, therefore I had to waste my time after the dinner with the customer service as well (fortunately they are well trained and very quick and the chatbot is useful too.) Ps.: Until we been waiting for our order we had see not we was the only ones who had problems with the order.

I took my daughter for a Happy Meal and I got myself a double cheese burger. We used the self service table service to order our food. Ordering was easy enough, however I would say that it felt we had to wait quite a while for a very simple order, I'd say about 10-15 minutes. However, when the food arrived it was nice. Would go back again

DANGEROUS. Put onions in my brothers food when we asked for no onions due to an allergy. You can see in the photo they stuck a sticker on the burger stating no onions or pickles when they have clearly put onions on it.

Useless slow cold food Don't waste your time or money they give priority to delivery firms nearly 30 mins for 2 burgers and 2 fries!!!

It wasn't busy but the food took a long time, there were no shakes or ice cream available. You also have to be careful of vehicles emerging from drive through when approaching the building. Large shared car park, outside kids play area (was closed) and lots of seating in a clean modern building.

We visited McDonalds in Aylesford earlier today. Sadly this place is full of self service ordering machines. I’m not actually familiar with them and am not computer literate at all. I asked a member of staff to help me and she said I’ll be over in a minute, 3-minutes past so I went and asked someone else. There was 12+ members of staff basically doing nothing, chatting, laughing and a couple on their phones, it’s a joke. After about 5-minutes I got help from a member of staff. If you can believe it, the young lady said “I’m not sure how to use the machines, I’ll get a manager”. Really?!?!! I just said to her not to bother, the incompetence in that store was top class. After a 15-minute visit to McDonalds, I left with nothing. This is no longer a great convenient fast food outlet, it’s a centre of incompetence.

Aylesford mcdonalds is not the best still , food is seems not fresh and as well made as others in the local area . Its good for ice cream and drinks !

Where to start! Always told to park up even if it's not busy then wait upto 20 mins d the foods cold! Order always wrong, never have milkshakes or mcflurrys, rude staff. Needs closing down because its the worst mcdonalds ever.

Ordered inside to take away and it took around half an hour to be provided our order. It was very apparent from being inside that online delivery app orders were being prioritised over people that had ordered in house to eat in or take away with several bags left behind the till of online orders to be picked up. The food itself was usually McDonald’s but the building of the burgers was poorly put together.

Went at 9pm on a Thursday and did a drive through. Sat for over 15 minutes in a queue, then wasted more time at the window as they started to get the order ready. This restaurant definitely doesn't understand the concept of fast food or maybe they just don't have enough staff. Chips were a bit on the cold side but the rest was ok.

Consistently good for what you want

This branch seem to get my order wrong every single time, whether ordering online or in-store. I will not be ordering from or visiting this branch anymore as I have now wasted a lot of money here due to items being missing.

Done my order on the machine & I didn't get the right order

Ordered for delivery I work in the same industry if there is no drivers and it’s too late pause your delervoo machine.. called the restaurant Kelly, kel I think her name was. She definitely needs a course in customer service skills, definitely need a course on how to speak to your guest. Every situation is different but she seems to not give an f in any situation not willing to listen and quiet frankly is in the wrong job rude and condescending. This McDonald’s can’t cope when it gets busy, the drive through take your money ask you to go to the car park and never bring the food out. Twice I’ve had to go in and ask for my food. To be fair to the manager he has always sorted it out and gave me my food just took alot of time. Hopefully they can solve thease issues

20 minute wait for some chips and a drink

I've just been here at about 2am on a Friday night/Saturday morning, as it was the only one that was actually open in the area. I was quite apprehensive after seeing all the negative reviews on here, but my experience could not have been more different. All the staff were really friendly and nice, both to me/other customers and to each other in the kitchen. Everywhere looked very clean (including the toilets, which I was just glad were still open overnight unlike some other branches). The food was perfect (in terms of quality, amount, and accuracy of the order). Yes there was a bit of a wait, but they did have a lot of delivery orders going on at the time, and it wasn't that long really. If anything, it seemed like they were being extra careful to make sure everything was correct and done properly (rather than throwing things together in a rush), so I didn't mind that at all. So I don't know if things have changed recently or are just different during the day, but I was actually very impressed with this branch, and would definitely visit again if I'm in the area!

There are a few things to be said about this McDonalds branch. Firstly, the night staff are terrible in my opinion - constantly shouting at each other and play-fighting behind the counter. Secondly, I have often been left standing at the tills for a good amount of time while I wait for them to spot me. However, the day staff are very friendly and are completely different - service is quick. Not too much else to say, the quality is about what you'd expect from a McDonalds - not too bad.

Standard Mcds experience. Efficient and tasty

Consistently the worst McDonald’s in Kent. After today, I have sworn not to return. You will 100% be asked to park up for every drive thru order Orders will then be incorrect most of the time, or freezing cold. You’ll also wait for the food in the car park for a good 15-20 mins before you get it, so if you got a hot drink I’ll be freezing If you do decide to go in, it’s swarmed with JustEat and deliveroo drivers who barge their way to the front and demand service.

Burger was dry and hot chocolate was watery. Not great standard

Ordered delivery from here. I ordered a veggie burger and they sent me a hamburger which I can't eat. There's no way to get food redelivered, only to trigger a refund which you have to wait on hold for 10 minutes for, before you can talk to someone. Chips were cold, and they forgot the dip for my (also cold) cheesy bites. Dreadful.
