Staff not good person, very lazy and rude

Ordered 3 southern fried chicken and chips and battered sausage and chips unfortunately when I got home I discovered we only had chips with the sausage but no chips with the chicken, fortunately the food was excellent and went some way to make up for the lack of chips

Been always a massive fan of this place, always recommended it to people. Im Just appalled my the lack of professionalism shown by the people working front of house, i really don’t know if the brand goes for super casual Service where they can afford to eat chicken strips whilst serving customers , and the attitude of the guy that was serving people was not so great. The food is still the same , but I will suggest training your front of house staff to know where the till buttons are before putting them on busy shift, also train them to put every items that the customer ordered in the bag before handing the bag to them, i never knew getting fish n chips would be stressful. I dont know if im expecting too much from a fish n chip shop, but jesus, look at retaining cutomers rather than just getting by the service. Have pride in yourselves.

The chips and curry sauce were nice but the portion size was small and the prices were large. A measly amount of curry sauce for £3.

Tasty food that you didn't realise you had missed.

Ordered just eat when food arrived got out of bag relised missing one meal manged 2 catch just eat driver to tell him half my order is missing he said nothing to do with them phone them.I phoned them to be told they can't deliver as no driver i have to pick up myself then when finally spoke to manager which was not helpful to be told they cannot refund i need to go to restaurant Sunday or Monday then apparently the manager not wanting to talk anymore pass me back to lad on phone that didn't know what to say or do,asked them to either give me refund tonight or deliver food got nothing,absolutely unprofessional staff,will have to go in myself tomorrow as they have my money

Spoke loud enough to tell my order yet they still messed it up due to very loud staff and swear words could be heard . Food tho was good . But customer service was terrible

My go to at the moment. Never disappoints, great value for money. Even gave me extra chips one time as the fishcake broke. Will keep ordering!

Chips didn’t even fill cardboard tray. Chips half cooked. Won’t go back there again.

Absolutely disgusting. Fish so dry it was inedible and when I had a bite, the fish tasted really strong. Has really put me off going there again! Have asked for a refund from Just Eat.

There was something missing. And everything was cold.

Food arrived quickly. The chips were as good as straight from the fryer. The haddock was incredibly fresh in a tasty light batter. What’s not to like!

Rider stole my order and never delivered it it’s probably been thrown in a bush somewhere ! I won’t be using this service again, riders are dishonest saying they delivered it when they didn’t

My order was not delivered, despite the detailed delivery instructions which were placed with the order, and so I can’t comment on the quality of the food or the delivery time.

I was really disappointed. Both the fish and chips were far too greasy. The fish was thin and mushy and the chips were anaemic and undercooked. There were only three of us customers in there, but the atmosphere was very shouty and chaotic. I’m not sure what’s happened as it used to be very good.

Ordered yesterday on justeat and the chicken was beyond dry and the coating was rock hard so 3 peices plus an extra one for the dog went straight in the bin, chips were OK but cold, mushy peas were cold, fish was OK but very thin for a large, chicken in the chicken burger was very overcooked, nuggets were OK but not far off being overcooked. For £42 I do not expect such poor quality and have to throw food away because of overcooking! Won't be using these again anytime sooner!

Ordered through the '' just eat '' app and completely different order came . I was trying to call the store and they purposely ignored my calls while in the first place they said that they're going to fix the order. Very unprofessional behaviour.

Complete wrong order was delivered. I rang the restaurant and they told me it would be fixed and the actual order would be sent to me. Correct order was never sent to me and I could not get through to them when I tried to call again. I attempted to call 15+ times to ask what was happening. None of these calls were answered. 0/5 if I could.

wrong pie and anaemic chips, disappointed as I am usually happy with this place.

Waited 25 mins for 3 sausage and chips as staff were clueless! Not even busy just 1 person ordering 1 fish and chips and a telephone order that the first delivery driver gave up waiting for! Member of staff at the back forgetting to put everything in to cook and the one up front spending more time chatting to their friend at the counter that hadn’t even ordered anything!

I was very disappointed today with the service the lady who is working she was tieing her shoe leises but didn't wash her hands then touching the foods.

Twenty five minute walk only to find they were out of fish.

Order was incomplete, food was left in the hallway and spilled out of the box.

regular fish was more extra small and horribly dry, chips were soggy and undercooked, chicken burger was burnt and lettuce was old, will not be ordering from here again as its gone down hill

Really delicious; both the fish and the chips. We ordered as they had a promotional saving which in our current climate is a blessing! Definitely will be ordering again to take advantage of the promo:)

On occasions it's okay, but recently they seem to be rationing the chips. I wouldn't be surprised if 'regular chips' are £5 soon.

All 3 pieces of fried chickens were very dried up, fried in batter and inedible with a oily taste and smell. Some of the chips were too hard to eat. Looks as though it had been reheated many times and I'm surprised they delivered it looking so bad. I have taken a few photos as proof and we won't be ordering again.

I ordered Cod and got supplied haddock and the chips were supposed to be large but were not. very disappointed.

Delivery didn't 'knock hard' and I was harsh with him because he had to phone instead of knock properlyc as I asked. He was a young Romanian and didn't speak English as his first language. I felt sorry afterwards and wish I had apologized. Please pass this on to the delivery guy.

explained I'm an incapacitateded patient in hospital and could they deliver to the ward, I said if not I understand but would order from somewhere else. They said it wasn't a problem but it was they left the food at reception over 600 metres away and rang to say that it had been left, not that they were leaving it, so by the time the food eventually got to me it was stone cold and inedible. seriously angry at the poor service 😔

I got a delivery from Uber eats off this chippy. I got the Gluten-Free chips and battered sausage twice for me and mum. Not bad prices, lovely portion and well wrapped in a nice box. The chips where the brownest and nicest chips I've had in a long time since finding out I'm Coeliac. It's so hard to find allergen friendly fast food. Would highly recommend.

Medium fish chips and curry sauce nearly £15!!!!!! Well after I picked myself up off the floor with the shock of the prices I can give you a review of not worth the money!! For a start the chips was cold the curry sauce was abit too thick for my liking and the fish was just average…cheaper and better places in Cambridge for fish and chips and next time I think I will just keep driving past to the next one….

Food arrived cold and also left on the doorstep in -2 weather. If food had arrived hot and delivered professionally by driver then would have been good. Certainly not worth nearly £40 for fish and chips x2

It was sent on a bicycle on a 3-4 mile trip, poor guy was shattered in this wind. Food was lukewarm and the chicken burger was tasteless and soggy with barely any salad. As the chips were nearly cold they’d just congealed.

Once the food was delivered the flavours of the burger was amazing and the chips were amazing and crisps with a good crunch

7.40 for large portion of chips and curry sauce. Feel the price is extortionate for what you get. There was also a hard ball in the curry sauce which wasn’t very appetising. Disappointed.

Fish and chips were great. Just a shame the curry sauce didn’t arrive, particularly as it is £3.50 a go.

Lateness due to delivery being done by rider being on push bike and not a scooter so it more than twice the time to get here and food was only warm and had to be reheated !!!! Very disappointing

I paid £3:50 for a small pot of curry sause...it was not included with the reat of my order. What a waste of hard-earned money. Last time the delivery was late and the food cold, the curry sauce packed upside down and spilled all over. Will not order from again.

i usually buy the pieces of fish as they are normally skin-free. i really don't like skin-on. My last order of the 5 fish pieces sadly had skin on 3 of the pieces ordered. If i buy a normal large piece of fish, i have to peel skin off, irritating and messy. Wonder why it's a southern practice, not found in the north. Lots of chips to compensate for the inclusion of bottom bits of the chip tray!

If you are ordering for guys, keep in mind that their portions are small and, well, fairly expensive for what they are. For example, 'large' chips from this shop cost £5.50 and are about the same size as an average chippy's small/regular chips. Quality is pretty average, e.g., with chips, there were quite a few crunchy bits, even in a fairly small portion in terms of volume. All in all, I don't think this shop will be on my favourites list. In fact, I'd be surprised if I order from them again.

The food was lovely and it arrived early, but the driver left the food on the doorstep, rung the doorbell and then got back on his bike. Before the front door was even open.

Very nice food,generous portions, I ordered at 8.15, it arrived at 9.35, it wasn't the shops fault however but the delivery driver of just eat, and just eat not answering the phone. It was worth the wait however!

Chips so undercooked I've never seen anything like it. Then they also failed to put salt and vinegar on them when they asked whether I wanted any! All in all a complete rip off.

Very good quality food, reasonable price compared to other chippies in Cambridge.
