Carrot cake nothing like what it use to be, tastes like a betty crocket packet cake mix, famous fudge doughnuts taste bland and are very very expensive, feels like profit is getting put before quality, but i suppose directors need there bonuses, but on a lighter note the staff in the shop were brilliant. Pity about the cakes, sorry.

We stumbled on this place, great parking, lovely bakery, clean and welcoming coffee shop. Greeted and served by 3 lovely young assistants, Erin, Katie and Aiden. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Aiden offered to make us a Cortado even though it wasn’t on the menu. It was a proper barista coffee and he even hinted out the perfect little cups to serve it in. Food was lovely and would highly recommend this place

Had a quick breakfast at Fisher & Donaldson in Cupar while waiting for my cars MOT to be done. Lovely, pleasant staff, quick service, tasty food. I have bought a lot of cakes, mainly the strawberry stuff over the last year and a half from their other shop in Cupar town and really enjoyed them. Lovely place, highly recommended.

Stopped with the family for hot chocolate, donuts and cakes. Was not disappointed 🤤 the fudge donut was stuffed with filling and I was stuffed after eating it, the hot chocolate was melted on the inside of the glass and warm milk was added. A smooth touch to an even smoother drink. Was a really nice visit topped of by wonderful staff and cheery service. Will make a point of stopping again soon.

Cafe is really nice. Plenty tables and also tables outside for when the weather gets better. Good selection of cakes and sandwiches! The lady who asked what drinks we were having was nice and polite, the lady behind the till was quite short and almost rude. Wasn’t that busy when we were there, but even if it had been, no excuse for bad manners/customer service. I will go back again due to the food being lovely but with all the other comments about bad customer service, maybe this is something management need to look into!

I took my mother for lunch which we hadn't done for quite some time, the Garden space was lovely, the small booths are well set up and comfortable,Sadly our lunch wasn't lovely, it was not at all up to F&D usual standard of excellence, the toasted sandwiches we had were barely warm and it was clear they were pre-packaged rather than made to order; mediocre and really quite disappointing.

Highly recommended. The shop is still open for takeaway, but they have developed the outside to a very high standard. There is far more seating now than there ever was inside. Picnic tables and tables and chairs outside, plus booth type seating in a large covered area (big tent), plus tables and chairs, and a children's play area.Ample parking plus a charging point for cars.Four high standard toilets, each with baby changing facilities, and disabled access. The food is as wonderful as ever, with their fudge donuts and coffee tower cakes being our favourites.Amazing choice of cakes and pastries, and savoury treats such as sausage rolls, pies, stovies, and more.Staff very friendly and efficient. Waiting time was very short.

Took my family for a drink and cake. Lovely garden to sit in the sunshine and enjoy our treats. My Daughter and I both had the famous fudge donut. Well this wasn't the usual fudge donut... the filling wasn't the yummy pale creamy sweet custard. It was bright yellow and grainy. The table next to us commented on their custard filling too. Hope this was a one off and not a change to the usual delicious filling?!The service was great and the scones were lovely. Just disappointed with the fudge donuts.

Called into Perth Road, Dundee lunchtime Saturday, 22nd on the way home. Asked for 6 bridies (our favourites) but got curt reply that we'd need to book 6 in advance! Subsequent attempts to "lighten up" the assistant fell on stony ground. When we got home, bridies were excellent, but coffee towers were very disappointing. Filling excellent but choux pastry hard, dry and harsh in the mouth. No excuse for a choux - maybe not fresh? Tiffins were so-so. The very high price level Fisher and Donaldson retain means that quality should be guaranteed. Poor customer service suggests unacceptable recruitment and management standards. Complacency? I love Scottish baking and despair as so many local firms collapse so I want F&D to flourish but they need to get a grip!

First of all, this was my first visit to the new garden cafe and it is spacious with separate booth type tables and also dog friendly. However, no one bothered to take our contact details, didn't see any hand sanitiser and no wiping down tables between customers. Service was slow again, part of the order was wrong and we had to wait quite a while to get it. I guess they were short of staff for the number of customers but no excuse not to be more hygienic during the pandemic. On the positive side, the food was good when it did arrive and the marquee is a great addition to the shop. Just tighten your hygiene standards.

The cafe, as part of the shop and bakery complex, was always a great refuge for a coffee, bacon roll then fudge donut. However as with life in general, Covid-19 changed what we do and how we do it. After a period with no cafe open and bakery goods being either click and collect or ordering for home delivery, F&D constructed a large marquee in their grounds and fitted it out in compliance with Covid guidelines, adding picnic tables in the grass area adjacent to the marquee. So once more we have a refuge to escape to and enjoy the delights of F&D. Good size parking area, with a couple of charge points for e-cars.

I'll be Frank, the service was shocking. We waited about 5 mins before one of the 6 or 7 girls behind the counter paid attention.(there was only one other person waiting to be served) She took a partial order before leaving to get it and got annoyed when my husband asked for his coffee. It's the little things, like rolling your eyes and sighing that make it bad. I wouldnt come here again purely for thus reason.

Went today for something to eat at the Cupar tearoom, no white bread and only cold bridies which is a joke for a bakery, forks were not clean with old food between the prongs cups were stained as was the tea pot, the pineapple and cream cake was sour, the cream had split and was warm. The lass cleaning the tables was using a small hand cloth to clean the tables but no cleaning sprays or water, she was also flicking crumbs onto the seats and chairs, Generally there was a lack of hygiene. I visited your Crossgate branch in Cupar this morning and was disgusted by the lack of hygiene practice by your staff. They do not wear nets or use gloves or tongs when picking up food and slicing bread. When I asked the young lady serving me if they had any tongs or gloves, I was told no. Apparently they do not use them. Furthermore, the staff then handle money instead of one person designated to perform this task. I will not be returning to this establishment or any other branch if they do not adhere to food hygiene standards. The responsibility lies with the manager of the branch and there is obviously a training issue here.

What a nice Tea Room to know about if you find yourself with time to spare before your train. Our coffees were quite good (strong, rich and well sized). The pastries were quite nice - lots and lots (almost too many) to choose from - that's a nice problem to have. The tables are in a glassed in room with a lovely view up the green hills in one direction. Bright, clean and comfortable. The only negative we found was that, yes, we felt unwelcome as all of the counter people were dour and brusque. It wasn't just us - the people behind the counter seem like customers are a necessary burden and they'd rather be anywhere else. Really too bad, because a smile or two would make this quite a wonderful place.

Firstly I have to say that the quality of the food and drinks in this cafe is not in question. If you are looking for a delicious cake this is the place to go. Unfortunately the past couple of times I have visited, I found the cafe to be very untidy with dirty, uncleared tables and the staff are not at all welcoming. A simple smile doesn't cost anything.. There is nothing more off-putting than collecting your coffee and cake then not being able to find a clean, properly wiped table. Hopefully this can be corrected and I would be delighted to award Fisher & Donaldson at least five stars.

Nice bakery and coffee shop, been for breakfast and lunch, good food, and with complimentary chocolates with your coffee. Not only lovely cakes and pies, a selection of chocolates. nice to see it open on a Sunday. When in the area will pop in

For somewhere to eat at lunchtime in Cupar, this has to be the first choice. From the outside it may look like nothing more than a bakers shop. Sure enough, a fine selection of cakes and breads are available over the counter. But venture further in and you will find a cafe area that looks like it came straight out of the 1940's. Table service, naturally, and very smartly presented and spotlessly clean. The food on offer is traditional Scottish fair. Scotch pie, stovies, etc. and all very nicely done. There is a branch of Greggs a few doors along. Fisher and Donaldson is better.

Went with 2 friends and the kids When my soup eventually arrived it cold so asked for it to be reheated, took 10 to 15 mins by which time everyone else was nearly finished and it still wasn't all that hot. Expensive for what you get and poor service

I typically meet up here once a week with 3 or 4 friends for a light lunch. We do occasionally meet in other places but always keep returning here for its quality, consistency and value.Stovies with oatcakes is the most popular choice amongst our group. Second would be soup (when they have on the menu my favourite is the Thai chicken) or soup and sandwich.I couldn't comment on the cakes as we all stick just to the savouries!

Being a new resident, my partner and I took the recommendation of trying here for coffee and a bite to eat. The staff (apart from one lady who was lovely) were all school-age. I don't have an issue with this normally, but not a smile from one of them and several were unsure/incapable of doing their job and the serving counters were disorganized -not ideal in a busy environment. The food was average, and we were disappointed with the cakes which were nothing special considering how expensive they were and their supposed reputation. I would visit again, but only for coffee which was very nice indeed.

The food was great and had a nice and relaxed atmosphere, very enjoyable lunch on our way home. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Dear God. Didn’t think this place could get worse but it has. Not enough staff, tables not cleared, no water in hot water urn, no clean mugs, no milk in coffee machine and the one poor staff member totally run off his feet trying to cope eventually collapsed with the stress of it all. Ambulance was called so I do hope the poor man is okay. Absolutely appalling that Morrisons management have let this go on for so long! Staff your cafe or shut it down!! We sat for an hour and a half and dud not receive our order especially after staff member collapsed. Werent offered a refund as till couldn’t be opened???? But were given a had written credit note for a free meal next time. After a second disastrous visit to this cafe I’m not sure I would return again!! Management get it sorted!!!

We had a bad experience at this place. We went around 10 pm for drinks as we were told this place is opened till 11pm. But the staff and shift supervisor told us they are closed as there was no guests and they were not professional to welcome us. It was very obvious from their voice and look that they didn't want to serve us. Me, my brother and our teen children were visiting Scotland and it was very harsh to see such unprofessional and weird customer service. It was also obvious from their approach that they were mean to our color of skin and not happy to see color customers. Even though we talk about diversity but still people are not mentally and emotionally accept the diversity.

Selección de comida justa, pequeñas raciones, no había mucha variedad para una comida ligera y bastante caro. Adjunto buena tienda de regalos

Avoid until the manager/owner recognises that her behaviour is incompatible with hospitality, although I suspect she's not the type of person to take feedback. I wish I'd read the reviews before I spent my money there. I didn't enjoy seeing an elderly fellow customer shouted at about a coffee, or other customers being told off about where they sat, and I didn't enjoy seeing a staff member being told off either. I also didn't enjoy hearing plates crashing about, if you have an open kitchen you might be aware of this. The food was nice enough but overpriced and the menu is very limited. I'm afraid there are no reasons to visit the cafe that are greater than the reasons not to visit. I'll be back to Culross but not to Biscuit.
