Best fish and chip place I have ever been to. Excellent. Highly recommended. Friendly helpful service and there were 3 of us they make sure your food is served to you together.

Was in the area for work and needed some food. Had a lunchtime special fish and chips. Was very good - smaller fish and portion of chips. Just right for a filling lunch.

Decent..bit oily...charged us pound extra. Can't get refund cz live too far!

First time at this fish and chips take away and I shall definitely be back. The staff were incredibly friendly and clearly love what they do. The food was amazing too with prices being fairly decent as well.

chips were not cooked never mind triple cooked last time i will use them

Nice food, however it doesn't cancel out the fact I was made to watch the owner/ manager of the business verbally abuse the young staff, it does not hurt to speak nicely or pull someone aside and assist them. Instead of shouting. One staff member, a young girl who I assume was new as she was being shown how to do everything, was already being moaned at? Treat your staff with respect. No wonder theres no regular staff they must hate the environment.

20 phone calls not answered over the course of half an hour to place an order for collection. Not doing your business any favours

Food is always good but I WONT BE RETURNING. The service however is AWFUL. SIX people ordered AFTER me and got their order first. Now I understand that somethings need cooking fresh but the young front of house staff are clueless. When I asked how long my order would be one of them said sorry we’ve run out of chips ! YOU CLUELESS CLOWN everyone that has come in has ordered something and chips and you’ve served all 6 of them. Never forget customers have a choice and service is as important as the quality of the food. BYE 👋

Easily the best chip shop in the area

Well done guys, a good team trying to do it quickly and accurately.

I just paid £3.50 for a ridiculously small portion of 'large' chips. I get it that businesses are struggling etc but this was lousy. We bought these to share to go with a plate of mussels. It's a decent single portion if that.

Fish 2 go, can order in store, you can phone through your order and collect and its available on Justeat. Friendly team.

Stopped here for some fish and chips..I chose a piece of Rock (medium) and a small chips..along with a medium cod and chips and a medium haddock and chips .premises are clean ...the staff are friendly..we got there not long after opening so there was about a 10 minute wait ..that wasn't a problem. There's seats/chairs there to sit and wait a good choice of fish small to large then there savaloys,sausages fish cakes etc..also puckked eggs ,gherkins and pickled onions on tge counter..when our order was ready the guy behind the counter called out the order he also told us that he had written what each of the wrapped fish .. A nice bit of fish and chips

First time I've used this shop, and I was very pleased I did. They have a great selection of fish and the way it is cooked. IE you could have normal batter or lite batter, baked. The chips are excellent, good size not dry and fluffy inside, not recooked like some shops, plus portion size very good too.

Had 2 cod lunch time specials with skinny batter option. Really good quality and value, lovely staff and clean, attractive premises. Will definitely be visiting again when flying into Southend Airport. Thank you.

Great fish and chips cooked when order received not prior. They do a wide selection of food, different fish, burgers, chicken and selection of different side dishes you would expect to find In a chip shop

Have always enjoyed the lunch time special, which has always been good value. Went to get it today and was horrified to be told it would be £13. For 2 specials Thats an increase of £4.10.. I walked out, How can they justify such a large increase . I am sure they will lose a lot of customers. We for sure won't be paying it

This is the best quality fish and chips that I have had in years , worth going to Southend even if only going to this take away, I was only in Southend to buy a motorbike from someone who lives around the corner from where this fish and chips shop is .

Just called in on the way home. Had dogs in the car so couldn’t wait for fish. Asked for 1/2 chicken, beef and onion pie and chips. Got the food having waited for chips to cook. Got soggy chips and a very dry piece of southern fried chicken not half a chicken that I ordered. That, and the sarcastic comment from the lad at the counter means it will be a long time before I go there again.

Not bad, nicely cooked fish and huge but the batter was a bit thick and heavy. Chips were soggy but tasted good. Will try again.

Needed food for a hungry warehouse because we were stock taking. Had 14 lunch specials and some scampi. Service was excellent and food was good would highly recommend.

Not as good as other chip shops as I thought it was a bit expensive for what I had , also they allow people to enter the shop without a mask therefore putting other customers at risk , despite the government stating people should use a mask , I advise people to avoid this shop unless you want to get covid 19

Nice chips as always but my savaloy was cold. It is also getting more expensive and I will not be buying here again.

Staff were polite, still find it abhorrent that I was unable to purchase an unbuttered roll. Food allergens are not a lifestyle choice and lacto intolerance shouldn't stop me from having a chip butty. I wouldn't return for this reason.

Fast friendly hard working staff, very helpful and polite girls serving and a lad taken money. It was a very good system they had being a busy Friday evening, the food was really taisty, best bit of Cod and chips I have ever had, if have just moved to the area so will go there regular, cheers guys. Very nice chip shop. Really reasonable prices and a large variety of food on the menu. The chips are cooked lovely in here, it can be hard to find good chips. I had cod and it was very fresh and the batter was nice and crispy. Not soggy like some places. And they had 3 different fish sizes on offer which is rare, so you can buy a small one if you like. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was busy when I went. I would definitely recommend this one.

We regularly use Fish to Go being so close at work at the airport. The food is second to none and the staff are always so friendly and accommodating.
