Tasty and well cooked fish and chips for a reasonable price with friendly service. The batter was exceptionally well cooked. Location was very convenient for the beach.

Absolutely delicious Fish and Chips. My children (2 & 4) have always picked over chips and refused fish altogether but this place they devoured the whole lot, we travelled twice (2 weeks apart) and were equally impressed the 2nd time. All the staff were also super friendly, chatting and smiley. Definitely will be back.

Recently visited camber and we always visit this takeaway! We went there this time and was not disappointed, the food was fresh, hot and very yummy would highly recommend this takeaway!

Arrived for a weeks stay in Camber sands decided on Fish & Chips after a long drive. Had read good reviews so gave it a try & wasn’t disappointed . Fish & chips cooked freshly to order so a short wait but well worth it. Would definitely give it a try if nearby.

Very busy and popular take away Fish and Chip shop! Great customer Service, lovely food and good value options too they do small/ kids sizes. There are tables outside to eat too.

Can't review the fish, as didn't have any, but WORST CHIPS EVER! ...Thin, hard and riddled with black bits from poor-quality potatoes. Avoid like the plague!

I don't normally write reviews, but I had to just do it this one time! After years of visiting Camber Sands and eating fish and chips from various other chip shops, I stumbled upon this little Gem! Even though the shop was extremely busy, the staff were professional and polite, we had a short wait but OMG the Cod was out of this world the batter was light and crispy and the cod was delicious seriously melt in the mouth. My daughter had a saveloy which was gone in a few seconds and my son was going on about his foot long sausage and how delicious it was all the way home. The chips were also so crispy, I will certainly not be visiting another fish and chip shop when I am out that way in fact the children have asked if we could go every week for our fish and chip supper but a 3 hour drive each way is just a little too far :-).

We stayed at pontins camber sands & visited this takeaway several times over the weekend…the food was freshly cooked & tasted amazing highly recommended this place, 2 mins walk from beach in a great location! Thank you for keeping our belly’s happy 😀

Lovely fresh chips, cooked to order and in vegetable oil so great for vegetarians and vegans. Super friendly staff. Would recommend - a must for lunch at the beach.

Showed up to a not so very busy shack. Ordered a regular chips. Was told my number for 19. Another customer pointed out she was number 13 and had waited for ages. When her order was done, I gave it 5 minutes to ask how they were getting on to be told number 14, the gentleman in charge asked what my number was so I told him..."you've got ages yet" was the rather rude response I got...32 minutes later my 'chips' were done. Well.....if I had ordered the dregs at the bottom I'd have been very happy as that's all I received, the blunt folk sent the grease covered crisps flying across the table with very little amount of chips in the box....I'd rather eat the sand on the beach than eat here again. Here for a week but won't be returning.

Friendly, polite staff, decent size portions, tastiest batter I’ve ever had, freshly cooked to order not pre cooked and kept ‘warm’ in a cabinet, flavoursome fish and served hot as it should be ! Can not fault this chippy & was well worth a visit.........

Out of the 3 chippies in Camber (other 2 are 1 resident, and 1 mobile) then this is where should go. Unless of course you want to eat what even the seagulls won't

Good food, friendly staff and good prices. The medium cod is really big and the chip portions are very generous.
