Wanted a cheeky takeaway on the Easter weekend and as we were away, we searched online and found Yummies, one of several in Rye but as they were already rated on Trip Advisor and offered an extensive menu, we couldn't go wrong! After much decision, we finally managed to order and confirmation came back online immediately! Within 20 minutes I received a phone call to confirm exactly where we would meet (being in a holiday site that was quite strict with deliveries) we arranged to meet at the main gate. By the time I had walked down to the gate, our food was waiting in the car! Walked quickly back and devoured everything, steaming hot and very delicious! As we come down to Rye frequently, will be re-ordering soon! Thank you to everyone at Yummies!

My Boyfriend and I come here a lot and the food is delicious every time very kind staff and polite. Prices are very good as well

Absolutely disappointed and sad! Had only a few quids left to place an order so decided to order them via FoodHub. Placed the order and was called back by the lady that they can’t do delivery cause its outta range. Why showing then on my app if you can not deliver at my place. Did not only I lost my last quids but also have to run without dinner meal. Have some shame if cant adjust your app!

A good portion of the order never arrived, we then called regarding the issue, a refund was promised , they took my bank account information and then never issued the refund. Definitely will never buy from here again, food was also very bland and greasy

Rude staff, burnt my garlic bread when I asked for new ones owner refused and said we don't do anymore even though I had already spent money on pizza and drinks! Avoid this dump!

Got a kebab delivered to my caravan. Immediately after had a stomach ache. Next day I had food poisoning. Will never order from here again. Chicken was greasy, and obviously contaminated.

Nice takeaway. I've been there just twice. Managed to try out burger, chicken shish, lamb shish and doner. All really good. Fair prices and portions.

Ordered a delivery on the phone. The lady didn't seem to know the menu and I had to correct it when she read it back to me. It arrived very quickly and the driver was good calling my phone when nearing my location. The chicken in my kebab was very very dry. In places crunchy edges and was clearly not freshly prepared. The rest of the kebab contents were ok.

I had a terrible experience, do not recommend. Only gave 1 star as I had too. I placed an order on their website, and when I arrived to collect it, found out they had closed - 15 minutes early!!! I got charged for the food, and still have not received a refund after being promised one....ridiculous.

Old guy who answers the phone is so rude .. no customer service skills at all … simple task of no cheese in burger or cheese on chips and they don’t do it . Used to order regularly without any issues, we are outside the area and always paid an extra £2.50 which was fine. Untill we called and a very rude man answered the phone and wanted to charge £7 extra!! We asked why so much and he replied with fuel prices gone up! Absolutely shocking and judging by other reviews others have had similar. After that one phonecall they lost our business altogether, never will we be ordering again from yummies.

My husband and I ordered a takeaway after a very long day travelling and all I can say is i'm gutted we don't live in Rye! This takeout was perfect, arrived really quickly and I cannot express how lovely the delivery chap was - so friendly and polite. We're only here for 2 days but i'm sure we'll be ordering again before we leave. Thank you for an amazing service tonight, just what we needed :)

i am absolutley astonished at the customer service i recived on the phone from a very rude and arrogant man. i have autism and social anxiaty. i rang up to order food as i have done previously and normally there is a lovley kind lady that answers the phone and is alway happy to help. this time it was a man and i have spoken to him before and he has no interest in serving you or having an order delivered to me this is not the 1st time this has happened from this man either, i live in rye and i told him where and he said we dont deliver there anymore he also said this to me last time about 2 months ago. he said to the gentleman that owns it or runs it we dont deliver to where i live anymore do we and they said no but they delver to camber which is further away than i am i am maybe 1 miles from the kebab shop. feel completly discrimnated against he also hung the phone up on me 2x not interested in anything i said really rude and just a horrid negative energy. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Foods ok but delivery charge is a rip off and not clarified online. Paid £2.50 delivery on the order then told to give the driver another £4.50! Will not use again

Just ordered from this place for a takeaway, the person taking my order asked if we want salad and sauce when ordering the burger - I said yes. To my surprise there was no sauce or salad in the burgers, no sauces for the rest of the items as well Left almost £40 and received ridiculous burgers with no sauce and salad just chicken in between the bread. I

Used for many years, Ordered food with delivery time of 45 minutes, after just over 1 hour called to see how long it would be and told still over 30 minutes. Advised it would have been nice to get a call informing us and attitude was appalling “ not my fault” was the response. Won’t use again now.

Really happy with my pizza and the chips were extra crispy - just how I'd asked for them. It was delivered in super quick time too! I've ordered from them before and every time, the food is great - hot and really tasty.

Where do I begin. Placed an order, refused unless I pay cash! I agreed, Then told reorder . Phone an hour later saying where delivery, told its not ready. Another hour. Then asked to pay extra for delivery as outside area. Refused and told not to come back. WITH PLEASURE!! Rude owner!!! Don’t bother!!

Not a good pizza. The pizzas were overcooked, the base was not soft, there was a lack of real base sauce. Also, the garlic bread was unfortunately burnt. These guys are friendly, but the lack of competition for delivery pizza in the area means they can offer less than good quality food.

Never seen so many fake 5 star reviews.

Cancelled order without any notification. Said they called but, no missed calls and were sitting waiting.. really rude people in the background when I called up. Was told to re-order and pay again. Address was the same, but apparently wasn’t accepted the first time.

The best kebab shop in Rye and surroundings, delivers pretty much anywhere and the food is just to die for. Makes you want to gain those few pounds extra and not regret it.

Best kebab house in Rye just down from the Landgate. Wide choice of kebabs,pizzas and burgers all cooked to order. My partner has the chicken shish with salad and extra cabbage. I myself go for the mixed or yummies special. The venue is very clean and caters for allergies and special requests. Well worth a visit. Still the best Kebab house in Rye. They now have wraps which have become a favourite of ours. Chicken Shish & Donna or Chicken shish & pepperoni both tried with loads of meat. Try them.

The food is really tasty, it's well cooked and the service is No1 We have ordered from here a few times and not been disappointed. The Lamb Kofta and Chicken Shish combination is really nice. My wife has the Pepperoni pizza and says it's great.

It's alright at best. Nothing's really changed (other than the usual staff cycle). Food's nothing special and like most, cash only and I don't think they've ever given a customer receipt in the years they've been there. Makes you wonder how much tax they're paying really.

We have just had yet another delivery of Kebabs, and Pizza's on Thursday 23rd.We went back to Yummies after it was taken over by new management as the food is now so much better, and very good sized portions.I never have any problems when ordering on the phone, and the delivery guy is always prompt, polite, and courteous.Yummies is yummy again, don't change a thing, you have got it just right!Ironically we used to prefer the other kebab house in Rye, but they have also had new owners, and the portions got smaller (They were never that generous to begin with) and the food was always overcooked on every visit so we switched to Yummies and have not been disappointed.

Bought a kebab and it was ok not brilliant and not horrible my problem is with the moody owner OMG he is abrupt and rude when taking orders, he talks over you and and doesn't listen. On receiving our food he got the. order wrong and we had no sauces on either that we asked for. When phoning back to explain that we wanted sauces and he said we didnt ask for them he just got loud and put the phone down VERY PROFESSIONAL......On using before and dealt with the turkish guys everything came as asked for. Word of advice when ordering if you get the moody english owner put the phone down and start again

Ordered 2 kebabs, disgusting... dry chicken, warm wilted salad and the Donner meat must have been 3 weeks old... don't bother

Absolutely horrendous! When I last came to your establishment I became poorly the next day. Didn’t want to pass judgement on a first time! But I had food with you on Tuesday night (cheese burger) and all yesterday and today I have been poorly again from both ends. I haven’t eaten anything since because I can’t keep it down. Won’t be coming again!

This was the first time using this takeaway, I was slightly disappointed that the delivery driver didn’t have change upon arrival, so I had to scramble around trying to get change from the local shops, after getting the food back inside, the kebab was not bad, but unfortunately was warm at best, and the pizza’s where Burnt, so far I’ve yet to have a decent pizza in the town of rye!..

Been going to yummies regularly for the last 18 months and its always been amazing food with decent portion sizes and polite staff. Highly recommended from me :)
