Long time customer. Not anymore they have started to leave big bones in the fish and are not removing the blood. Last 2 times have been terrible. Gross. It's a shame.

Very good food and very good price

Best fish and chips in Stoke - considering we are a few miles from the sea the fish was amazing and the chips outstanding - too much even for a fat yorkshire guy to eat - the staff are charming and tolerated a slightly off his game (drunk) fella - definitely going back sober!

Randomly stopped for fish and chips today at Fish Lounge. They were the best fish and chips we have had in a very long time. The fish was a good size the fish in the batter was lovely and white,real fish unlike some pub grub food. I would travel to this chippie again. If the front of shop and front of counter were cleaned up this shop could be the best chippie in the Stoke Area.

Not bad been a few times, 9.50 for fish and chips a bit on the high price range but food tastes nice.

Had small fish and chips. They charged £9:50 for it. On the menu list in the shop it says small fish £6:00 & regular chips £3:00 when I asked why they're charging £0:50 extra, their answer was; the menu prices are for individual items and if you have them together it's 50 pence more. Very lame excuse indeed and the food was not that good either only far too expensive.

Fair enough I ordered late. But non the less dont ever send out food thats not edible. Chips that were left in the chip box like rocks fish was cooked at low temperature because pans were off cooked while cooling. Battered sausage was cooked to begin with then dipped in batter to cook again at low temperature very disgusting. For the sake of 14 quid you lost a customer. Disgusting.

Ordered from the fish lounge tonight. Waited 1 1/2 hours for delivery. The food from this chippy is absolutely disgusting. The fish looked like it had been cooked last week, burnt and dry. In all honesty it went straight to the dog. The chips were burnt and cold. The only decent item was the tub of gravy. I am £11.99 down, what a waste of my money, but at least the dog is happy. Please don't waste your money on fish and chips from this place.

Got a 3 star Delivered earlier than expected. Plenty of food. Food was warm. Packaging well. However quality of food not to good. 2star rating ,Chips were not nice, lots of old dark bits in, fish was ok but didn’t taste like cod. Mushy peas hadn’t got that mushy pea taste and watered down. Cost £18.50 expensive. Would I recommend to use again . No.

It's OK fish was nice. Batter not crispy enough and chips bit too soggy. Peas are marrowfat variety. It was delivered in 30mins.

Nasty the last time I went it has gone dirty and the food was as if its been reheated for the 10th time

Nicest fish and chips I've ever had

£15 for a hours wait for the food come stone cold. Next day its made me really I'll and I now have a very upset stomach. Defo will be avoiding this place in the future . Expensive. Little portions and they think its okey to give customers cold food. Yuuukkk!!

Brill value for money and the food is lovely

Glad they were open after nine. However the batter on the fish was inedible, dry and hard. The fish inside okay. The chips were also dry and like cardboard. The mushy peas were good.

4 pounds delivery charge and then a 50p surcharge fee on top of that. I dont even live 1 mile away. Just lost yourself a good customer there.

You really need to put more chips on the mixed meat and chips

I have been ordering food from fish lounge since they ist opened and still ordering . The food is of high standard.Would recommend it to everyone.

Very poor quality. The chips weren't cooked through. The fish had a bad taste. The service was so slow. I ordered in shop and it seemed like the delivery orders were of a higher priority to the two customers stood in store. To top it all the prices are far too high for a chippy. Plenty of better places to get your chips near by. Ye Old Chippy being the best.

Mr g is the main man ! Can't fault him he always has a smile on his face . The chips ain't bad neither !

Lovely food enjoyed my masala fish

The food was low quality compared to other chip shops. Unfortunately this is the second time I’ve ordered and the second bad experience I’ve had here. Won’t be making that mistake again. Seriously for the prices you charge you could at least give quality chips with decent portions. Just go to any popular local chip shops for tips on how you can improve !

My partner went to fish lounge tonight and the food was disgusting the donner meat was cold and was like chewing rubber the chips hard and cold and the staff are rude

Not long after closing I was walking past and saw a mouse on the window sill, I'm not sure how they have such a high hygiene rating...

do not order from this company 4 meals out of 7 had white hairs on them! i called the place first and he basically said likely a member of staff sabotaged the food. he would not give me full refund and will not come here now to pick up the food and the hairs! they look like pubes....i have warned you

Its nice but large portion of chips was quite small.

Came to order chicken tikka in person. They made me wait 40mins while they sorted the orders for delivery. By the time they were ready to sort my order, they ran out of chicken tikka. Disappointing.

Delivery times are bang out of order don’t understand how you run a takeaway like this get told an hours and after 1hr 20 they decided not to answer your calls then tell you wait another 20minutes on top

I initially put a negative review but the establishment rectified the issue when I next visited.

waited nearly an hour for food chased twice 2nd time was told someone would call me back but didn't called again wouldn't answer the phone. Eventually got a call back to say nearly there. Told them to stick it!

Highly recommended best quality food

Ordered a basic meal from a chippy, pie chips peas and gravy, it came all seperate and they didint put any chips on. Also ordered some pop, never came. Ive been waiting 15 mins for the rest of my meal,everything is now stone cold. Not happy, first and last for me. £12 pound this cost me, no apologie when i rang to tell them there mistake.

Last week driver was over 30mins late, didn’t bring enough change for my payment, took my money promising to come back wae change & came back waeout enough! I complained on phone & was assured of a free meal! Today I call up, order free meal & was even offered ‘extra’ then promised a 45min wait! Over 30mins AFTER order was due it still hasn’t arrived & business has shut shop & turned phones off! I’m amazed at the shear ordacity of this place! There’s no rating for less than 1 star, if there was I’d be giving it!

Lovely place to order from! Have placed multiple orders with them over time & have never been disappointed! Very tasty & an average wait for food but worth it! Only place I know that does battered chips & will keep ordering them as they're great! Will always order from here & will always recommend! Lovely!

Starving & cold after helping Salvation Army band outdoors on Christmas Eve. Fish lounge was open 7-30pm Sunday evening.A life saver. Fish &chips freshly cooked. Right tasty.

this is the best fish and chips we have had in a long time there are 2 whales missing in the sea lol real chips not frozon peas where lush piping hot and plenty of food delivered by a nice man too and quite a good price too well done guys thanks x
