AMAZING FISH AND CHIPS! Best ever! Received a rec from my trip to Richmond and made the bus ride over to give it ago -- soooo worth it. Super kind staff, clean dining space, and excellent quality food. Cannot recommend enough!!!

I have no issues with the quality of the food. It's always good from here, however, I'm one of those strange people who hate coke. I find it undrinkable, so I asked for Ginger beer which I know they stock. They totally ignored my request & sent coke

Really surprised! Piping hot delicious! Great Fish & proper chips ! Ood sausage in batter. Pickled cucumber was a bit small for £1.50! Overall excellent & speedy delivery too! AAA++++!!!!

The pie had no filling it was all dried up and rock hard the saveloy was absolutely disgusting so hard and dry also the fish was okay the burger was good and the chips was partly cooked mushy peas and curry sauce was nice

Food was great and delivery driver was very friendly. This comment is about how each and every order we have the driver ‘gets lost’ for about 5 mins. The issue is odd numbers are on one side of street and where we are on the even numbers on the other side of the street. The drivers seem to just go by the post code rather than the first line of the address. It’s very easy. JUST EAT please sort

Ordered at 1800 by called them at 1900 and they’re waiting for a driver, called at 1920 because I was still waiting. Someone came on the phone and suggested I pick it up myself, because the driver isn’t coming. I asked when he was going to tell me and he said he just did. No phone call, no update, awful service! He said I needed to talk to just eat for a refund. Not even an apology!

They gave us the worst chips we have ever tasted - they were greyish and had been sitting out all day. They were not freshly fried or even recently fried! Terrible, hard to chew and not something anyone should ever sell. We won't come back here again. Don't go here unless there is a line of people and they are making the chips fresh.

Chips are ok, but they don't keep their saveloys in water, so they're dry and crispy.

This was actually from a few months back. The chef/gentleman who does the frying was extremely friendly and lovely. On the other hand, the asian/chinese lady who does the packaging and manages the till was at best hostile. Not sure why.

Went to the fish bar this eve just before closing for a late supper, no fish available but managed to get a sausage and chips with friends. In conversation with the lady manager who treated the fryer poorly, as she mentioned as she was from Hong Kong, and knowing I wasn’t English she became very rude and then went in a huge triade against British people, I felt very uncomfortable and took my cold!! Food and left. Knowing how she views most her clientele was very disturbing and the poor oily food means I won’t be coming back despite being a semi regular in the past (the delivery apps now allow for pier one, Nims and other much better places to be more accessible!) this place makes a lot of money due to the captive audience but go elsewhere for the best quality and staff! What happened to the Indian gentleman that ran the place who was welcoming to all?

Delicious fish; very large piece too. Generous portion of chips. I've had fish and chips from towns all over the UK and this is one of the nicest! Looking forward to coming back soon.

It really does do the best fish and chips! Sometimes order via deliveroo which comes well packaged, delivered hot and big portions! It’s consistent and the batter on the cod is just perfect.

I received the wrong order. It was an order for a Declan. Was really greasy too which is unusual.

I ordered a large portion of chips and it looked like an ordinary portion. Not enough!!

Curry sauce was missing. Driver went a much longer route than necessary.

Generally poor - staff weren’t polite, typed in the wrong prices for everything. The food quality was decent - nothing stand out but the quantity was good.

I usually never review any restaurants but I felt an obligation to share my experience with this particular place. We made an order through deliveroo for over 50£ for 4 pieces of fish. Not only did the order come with no chips whatsoever, (I don't know why it's advertised as "fish and chips"), every two pieces came in one box on top of each other soaking in oil, it was a disaster in presentation to begin with. When I called the place enquiring about the chips, they said we need to order it separately for 3.35£ for every small box. I sucked it up and hoped for the best. Little did I know, the fish was as bad as the presentation. It was so oily we couldn't taste fish at all and at least two pieces and a half are lying in my food recycling bin, along with all the batter from the others. Never ever again!
