Great pub with loads of atmosphere. Great staff. The only issue is that the music is so loud you can not talk to anyone. Because of this, the next time l visit the pub l will go somewhere else when the music is been played.

Good pub, shows sport and really cheap. The resident DJ is great

Always very welcoming in here and the customers are friendly to and always someone to have a natter to.

Definitely don't get my rating very disappointing pub loo are gross never cleaned lack of hygiene and not empty bottle bins in beer garden or cleaning up broken glasses off floor and left food that been there some time over all it's cheap place enjoy few drinks that's about it

Pleasant staff & locals. Beer is the usual naff cask beers you'd get anywhere else but but its an ok pub to stop off for 1 or 2 pints enroute to somewhere else & the locals are genuine people. The Waterloo is literaly just side of Argyle St which is also a pleasant & honest local so I'd recommend a pint in each pub before moving on elsewhere for a more lively evening.

The pub is a very good place to go in Birkenhead and is in the heart of the town centre and has a up to date decor live music at the weekend and a nice little beer garden to the rear of the pub and is also cheap for drinks .

Absolutely fantastic door way, never quite made it inside due to the Covid lockdown but was able to take ample shelter in the recessed doorway. Top feature.

Warm and friendly pub thats been one the few last in Birkenhead. Good selection of beer. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere has got an old style feel it but not in a bad way in a sit and relax way. No wait at the bar as the staff are so efficient. It a pub you can sit and chat and totally enjoy yourself.

Witnessed a old dear getting finger blasted and nearly had a fight with some latvian who shags 4 times a day. Would reccomend.
