Fired Wok Chinese Takeaway & Delivery in Lancaster

Definitely the best Chinese in Lancaster. I’ve been multiple times and the food is always exceptional quality and well priced.

This is a great takeaway for good tasting food for good value. I got the Meghan Salt and Pepper Box, perfect combo of egg fried rice, salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken! 10/10

Since moving to Lancaster in March 20 I have tried all the local take aways and this is by far the best. Food is consistently good, service is excellent, super friendly and helpful throughout COVID. Also very handy for Hodgsons chippy when doing those “mixed take away nights”.

If you’re a fan of chips, rice and curry sauce then this is the place to go. All rolled into one box and the flavours are a taste sensation

This is definitely in my opinion the best take away in Lancaster. They have a fantastic selection of the usual British style Chinese cuisine along with an addition menu of more tradition Chinese dishes. The best dishes can be found on the Chinese menu! The food is always to a good standard and the staff are very helpful when ordering new things. I would highly recommend a visit.

Good portions and must try salt n pepper dishes. A good selection of Chinese dishes and usually quick with delivering. Well worth a visit to this Chinese takeaway.

Easily my favourite ever Chinese takeaway. Go for it if you are hungry or if your trying to cut back (only slightly) check out the box meals.

We used this place 8 years ago regularly as we lived in Lancaster, we moved to heysham so we have never been up for ages, my partner and me was passing one evening and decided to get a takeaway to bring home so we decided to go to firedwok, it is still as good as it was, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, they only accept cash payments tho but is a cash machine across the road

The best takeaway in town! Yummy food everytime with reasonable delivery times! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a Chinese

First thing I noticed about this takeaway was that the menu was also in Chinese usually a good sign. Service was very quick and efficient even though it was a Saturday evening. We had chilli and salt spare ribs, very meaty and almost juicy with enough chilli heat, these were the stand out of the meal. We also enjoyed Singapore vermicelli which had less of a curry flavour and hotter than usual but still very nice, and Szechwan bean curd, a tasty tofu dish, good to see a good selection for vegetarians. Portion size was generous and we will visit again when in the area.

Mi pareja, mi hijo de 10 años y su amigo se detuvo aquí para tomar té demasiado llevar a casa con nosotros en el camino de vuelta desde tener un día realmente precioso. (festivos lunes). Pedimos pollo con sal y pimienta. . . Crujiente de pollo en salsa picante. . Arroz frito con huevo.. . Arroz frito con pollo. . Salsas curry.. . Sal y pimienta. patatas fritas y patatas fritas ordinario. Cuando llegamos a casa con la comida descubrimos que no había huevos arroz frito! Nos cobraron, pero no valía la pena la molestia tener que batallar para volver. Teníamos hambre y ya tenía un día ajetreado. ¿que sirven la comida no nos impresionó mucho en el aspecto general de la comida. ! ! Los crujientes de pollo era de hecho una hamburguesa de pollo normal en rodajas en tiras procesados. No hay especias completamente insípida, pimientos cebollas o no no hay nada con él en la bañera. La salsa picante que llegó en una bañera fue absolutamente "terribles" sabía como una mezcla de vinagre salsa marrón y mermelada. Era grueso y con bultos. Que nos fuimos directamente a la basura. No había especias en cualquier fuera de la comida. A pesar de preguntar si podía hacer mi pollo picante" "extra no podría explicar la diferencia entre la sal y la pimienta a las patatas fritas las patatas fritas ordinarias. Podríamos haber ahorrado nuestra propia de casi 30 libras. 00 y a tirarse unas patatas fritas y hamburguesas de pollo horno en el horno, porque eso es básicamente lo que era. Muy decepcionado y nunca más! !

I ordered a sweet and sour pork and some spring rolls for delivery and it was delivered quickly. The food was absolutely delicious and the food were worth the price. Definitely would recommend this shop :)

I am a recent convert to Chinese food and tried Fired Wok for the first time on New Year's Eve. Alls I can say is it was fantastic. So much so I tried to order a meal last night but it was unfortunately closed. The chicken wings are large and very tasty and the chilli salt chips are divine; I will be ordering again very soon!

Fast, friendly service. We buy food from here every week, always tasty and filling, and well priced.

Always good food, free delivery, often free prawn crackers! Definitely recommend! Love the mixed meat satay!

terrible the sweet and sour Pork was on the underside of average. The Duck was poor quality and very little quantity about 4-5 small pieces of duck per portion ( removing the under average sauce then 4-5 small mouth fulls) and I do not have a big appetite. 3 meals was not enough for 3 people with lower than average food intake (we are not big eaters). and it was quite expensive for the area at 17.00 with 2 chips and 1 small rice..sorry I will never ever go back...

I love this place - go here once every month. Great food and quick, too. There is also a chinese menu if you like it more authentic. Fabulous place!

I am always impressed with fired wok and use them everytime I want a Chinese takeaway. They are always very friendly and food is cooked fast even when we ask it to be different to the menu so we know it is fresh.I normally have the chicken satay starter which is the best I've ever had, so tasty and spicy!Followed by the lemon chicken with egg fried rice while my partner has beef in black bean sauce. Both are very reasonably priced and always so much meat.I recommend fired wok to anyone I know it's amazing!

What's not to like! The food is hot, plentiful and tasty. We normally order for the family and get a free bag of Prawn Crackers, nice touch!

Had three take outs from the fired wok and they have been well worth the money. Just delicious, hot food in a reasonable time to my door. Keep up the good standards. Thank you

Haven't ordered from here from some time. Won't be doing so for the foreseeable future. Food was disappointing to say the least. Prawns overcooked, sauce tasteless, etc.............

We had a takeaway on New Year’s Eve. The service was excellent consider the time of year. The food was outstanding and we couldn’t fault a thing. The portions are very good. The food is all very tasty and very fresh. One of the best Chinese Takeaway in Lancaster if not the best :-)

Just ordered the crispy chicken in spicy sauce for delivery. A complete waste of money. What I got was something akin to a chicken burger that had been sliced and a congealed sauce which remained congealed even after a minute or two in the microwave and tasted like someone had chucked some chili powder into a jar of apricot jam.

It's a sham I don't live in Lancaster anymore because this is one of the best Chinese takeaways there! I always have the salt and pepper chicken and chips. It's brilliant! The duck is very nice as well from here. It's not as cheap as other takeaways but you don't mind paying that little bit extra for better food and a bigger portion of food! Give this a try. A lot better than the chippy which happens to be next door
