Firebrand Pizza in City of London, Westminster

I had visited this restaurant previously while down in London on a business trip. I decided to try it again and wasn't dissapointed. The restaurant was busy but I managed to get a table without an advance booking. The restaurant was very cosy and the staff took my order withn a few minutes of sitting down. The staff were friendly and made sure everything was ok with the meal. The food tasted amazing and I even ordered dessert which I don't do often. Glad the restaurant is still around after COVID times and look forward to coming back again soon.

This is a hidden gem! We went with our young family and the staff kindly made them mini portions which they devoured! The food was really good, the ambiance is lovely and authentic and the food beautiful! Highly recommended!

Firebrand pizza offers high quality, freshly and speedily cooked food with superb service. Two of us turned up on a Saturday evening without a reservation, but the staff ensured we could be accommodated. We had one pizza and one pasta dish. Both were excellent. Pizzas are cooked with authentic ingredients in the wood-fired oven, which can be seen as you enter. Both dishes came really quickly. There was an interesting range of daily specials in addition to the main menu. Good variety of drinks on offer and a small but delicious selection of desserts. Highly recommend this independent restaurant - such a pleasant change from the mediocre offerings of a number of pizza/pasta chains. All the staff were unfussy, charming and efficient. We will be back on our next visit to this part of London.

This was ordered from my favourite pizza place—n Firebrand on Lisson Grove— to whom I've been loyal since finding them during the first lockdown. I was always told to order first, then call to add an additional item to my order. Tonight they simply refused to do so-- on the grounds that the were "closing in one hour & could not be bothered to slice another onion." Despite claiming it was 'already cooked' within 5 minutes after my order was placed, when the delivery finally arrived, it was ICE COLD, with literally NO ITEMS ON THE PIZZA. Whatever ham and mushrooms there HAD been were in a soggy pile in the corner of the box (see image below). No sauce or cheese to speak of. Worst pizza I've ever had. Such a profound disappointment from a restaurant I've loved and been loyal to in the past.

It is so easy to pass the restaurant if there is no pizza sizzling in the oven. No fancy decoration, nor Italian furniture. No tongue boggling menu with long list of vino and sparkling water variety. But if you have been there once, you'll be confident the food coming to the table will satisfy your nose, mouth and tummy. Just basic Italian pasta, pizza and dessert, excellent value for money. It's going to be our family "default" restaurant, because each time, we walk out with a smiling tummy.

We arrived Friday early evening with my four year old where it was advertised children eat free. When the waitress took our she said I have ask the manager about whether child eats free as it only on Monday - Friday. We then said today is Friday. From then on wards she scowled and service just went down hill. The food however was very good but again expensive and the service just went from bad to worse. I sure there is plenty of other restaurants where the food is just as good and customers service is much much much better

Visited this restaurant recently with a group of girlfriends and they provided us with a fantastic dining experience. Our waitress was excellent, recommending wines and food, taking the pressure off an indecisive bunch of women. The food was delicious and it was extremely good value. It was rounded off by a round of Limoncello shots and I want to say thank you for showing such good hospitality. Can't wait to visit again.

Been here twice now and great pizza on each occasion. It’s just quiet at lunch so lacks a little atmosphere. Service nice and attentive.

Visited with my Gfriend out of curiosity for dinner; we didn't have a reservation but managed to find a table. We shared 1 antipasto (burrata+caponata, the latter was delicious); 1 salad (baby spinach+sweet potato+rosemary+parmigiano shavings, very interesting and rich) and finally 1 pizza (sweet potato+mozzarella). It was tasty and wasn't greasy at all; the dough was light and as a matter of fact managed to sleep well, digested it really well and had no acid reflux (which I often get when I have pizza out in restaurants for dinner). Just slightly over-priced although in central London. Location is nice and coasy, romantic in a way. Reccomended if you're in the area.

Went there for lunch on a Sunday. Really good environment, the pizza was absolutely delicious, we had the one with pear, ham and goats cheese, with honey on the top. They gave us garlic bread as a house treat. Also great drinks, really recommend, we’ll be back for sure :)

Fantastic pizza probably the best I’ve ever eaten, it was delicious! There was only one member of staff working a young girl really friendly, the blueberry panne cotta was also amazing! Will definitely be returning.

On a Monday evening I placed an order to have it delivered with UberEats. I had a focaccia, a rocket salad and a pizza with goat cheese, zucchini and sweet potato. And I was dissatisfied. The focaccia was tiny, but ok in taste. The pizza was not big either, but also ok in taste, nothing extraordinary. But the worst thing was the salad, where I felt like I was biting on sand grains. I think, they didn’t wash the leaves. I stopped eating it and threw the salad away. The price was too high for what I received! I won‘t order in this restaurant again!

Had a lovely family meal here…authentic Italian food…fresh ingredients and lovely pizza and pasta…all served with a smile. Definitely worth a visit.

We visited on a family trip to London. We ordered bruschetta and garlic bread for starters, then 3 pizzas and tiramisu for dessert. There was 30% off pizzas when ordered as part of 2 course. The service was amazing; really quick and the waitress checked that everything was ok which it was. The food was delicious, especially the pizzas and tiramisu. We would highly recommend this restaurant- it is a real hidden gem.

Maybe it’s because it’s divided into two small rooms one half occupied by a ceramic pizza oven. Maybe it’s because of the prevailing slightly downbeat atmosphere everywhere post-lockdown. But it felt a rather underwhelming experience this Saturday lunchtime in a small slightly cramped room. Fortunately the food uplifted matters. Particularly a huge platter of cured meats and cheeses with a spot of honey drizzled on top; slightly less so pizzas with choice ingredients of sausages parma ham and burratas but uninspiring less than crispy bases. My daughter had a tagliatelle bolognese. The 50% off pizzas offer mysteriously extended to one pizza only as the shared starter counted but once. A glass of Montepulciano was from a slightly old bottle.

I am a person who loves to eat pasta with garlic bread. And I appreciate the bread. I was a picky eater, but once I tasted it, I can say delightful.

The firs time I visited I thought the pizza was average. However since revisiting several times the owners have drastically improved the pizzas and service. I’d now rank firebrand as the best pizza restaurant in London.
