Very pleased to have found our new "local"! The good was fantastic, the staff friendly, and the service excellent! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

A lovely place to eat and take refreshments but let down badly for me with the lack of choice on the menu. S If that wasn't disappointing enough 2 of the dishes we ordered were not available. Staff excellent though and made to feel welcome from the start

Sunday lunch very poor. Staff lovely, nice restaurant but Sunday lunch very disappointing. Party of 6, 4 of us had beef... quite simply dreadful. Dry beef, we should've been given steak knives to cut through the extremely tuff and dry 2 small slices of beef. The beef was served with 1 roast carrot, 3 small roast potatoes, 1 large yorkshire pudding and a small bowl of frozen mixed peas, french beans and broad beans. No fresh veg. The gravy tasted of bisto gravy. £13.95! Lots of extras for c£4.00 per portion. So lacking in flavour and portion size. Sorry pub Fifteen.

I chose Fifteen to host my husbands surprise 40th birthday party and it was the best possible venue I could have chosen. The buffet was incredible. So delicious and there was so much food! The venue is stunning and in a beautiful location with fantastic outside seating. The staff were amazing and worked so hard to make my husbands birthday special. Do not look elsewhere for somewhere to enjoy a meal or celebrate a special event. This is by far the best pub/restaurant in Newport right now!

Popped in after our dog walk. Decided to have food, so we chose from the "grazers" menu. It was absolutely gorgeous ! We ordered the ciabatta, chips & southern fried chicken goujons. We were so full, it was great value for money. Great service, and the atmosphere and decor is beautiful. Highly recommend a visit here, at any time of the day.

Staff were very good , great pint of Guinness. Food was amazing. I had the Fifteen burger it was delicious. Highly recommended.

We went on Friday for a late lunch and a pint with the dog, and the service was excellent. Bohodi got his ice glass and treats from the team, I have been to dog friendly pubs, but on this 6 can see it is a propper dog welcoming pub. Highly recommended, food was lush

Sunday dinner here is absolutely stunning. Haven’t had another meal, but the Sunday dinner is just beautiful. Some people say it’s the best in the local area and I think it’s a real contender! The staff were all friendly and accommodating, especially the manager Claire. We will be back!

Fifteen catered for a family birthday, Darren cooked all our food to an amazing standard, piping hot and tasty, there were quite a few of us so to get that many meals out in one go was exceptional, thank you to Darren, Claire, Mel, jade, Sophie and the rest of the crew for making my mums birthday extra special

Great service from friendly staff who looked to please. Nice decor Sunday lunch, roast beef/Yorkshire pudding was fine, greens were under cooked and not salted, roast potatoes were over cooked and looked burnt.

Service was excellent by very nice staff but Sunday lunch was average at best. No starters on menu, veg undercooked, roast potatoes overcooked, gravy too thick. Maybe we went on a bad day.

Called in one afternoon for lunch and boy I was so glad I did. Food was delicious service from staff was inviting warm and friendly. I need to mention also the pub is furnished beautifully I loved the designs throughout felt like a lover country pub.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Visited for lunch and thought we’d try the 2 meals for £15! Wow, amazing portion sizes and tasted amazing! Staff friendly and helpful, atmosphere was relaxed and decor was lovely. We enjoyed it so much we visited again the following week and had a Roast on the Wednesday afternoon, we were not disappointed. Fifteen @ LLanwern, Well done! What a gem of a place! 👏🏼👏🏼

Where can I start... we had booked a table in advance for 12pm, we were having a team meeting and chose fifteen as the decor looked impressive and it was somewhere local we had never tried. We arrived promptly, where two members of staff were sat chatting near the front door, a member of staff to the left working on a laptop and a chef loitering around the bar area. I let the staff know we were here - table of 4 booked for 12pm. No other customers in building staff looked very perplexed (as if we weren't expected) and told us to sit in the table for 4 directly in front. As we were settling, the same member of staff returned to say "excuse me have you booked ?" I was slightly miffed as I had explained our booking on arrival. I replied "yes" to which the staff member said " oh, you must be Mr Ford then" (bear in mind there were no other customers in the building at that point)? Our drinks orders were taken and multiple people asked us if we were ready to order food, multiple times we said "can we have 5 mins please, still deciding what to have". Not long after this a lady appeared at the end of the table and asked "were we ready now" we replied "yes, could we have 2 x toad in the holes" to which the lady said " no toad in the hole sorry" we asked "Is this sheet of paper (effectivley comprised of a sunday dinner with a choice of 3 meats or a vegan roast) the only meal choice aside from toad in the hole" to which she replied "yes". We again asked for more time and she left. The lady sat to my right on the laptop heard us say to each other "thats a shame, really fancied toad in the hole and the menu is limited, what shall we do ?" The lady exited sharply to which we now know was the kitchen. Shortly after this we heard loudly from the kitchen "Im not f**king doing that, toad in the hole will take me 25min to cook, if they dont like it they can go somewhere else". At this point 2 customers walked in and sat down. Myself, my husband and our 2 colleagues were shocked, my husband approached the bar and said to the staff, "can I have the bill for our drinks please, we heard the chefs comments, we dont feel very welcome, we will just leave" The staff member unenthusiastically said sorry and as he got back to the table, a staff member attended the other 2 customers to get their food order. She mentioned the limited menu and the ladies commented that it was ok, they wanted the lamb, the staff member then said loudly "good that was easy" At this point we finished our drinks quickly and left. I have never been made to feel so unwelcome. The staff were unwelcoming and abrupt and the chef (who clearly dosen't have much to do with 2 meal choices and sides to cook) with that much attitude, should be let go!! I would be mortified if any of our team spoke to our customers like that !! Parking is tricky as there are no signs - there is a patch of land opposite that we assumed was the car park after doing a few loops of the one way system. Great decor, would be a great place with a staff and menu overhaul, poor manager clearly earns her money dealing with beligerent staff members. AVOID !!

Food was amazing, best Yorkshire pudding I've ever had, so light and fluffy, sticky toffee pudding with vanilla and honeycomb ice-cream was delicious. Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, today was our first visit and definitely not our last.

Fair to say had a charming Sunday Lunch 3 days ago 22nd Oct 23. Food was extremely tasty and serenaded by a singer and keyboard player great couple of guys made quite an ambience. Had a discrepancy ordered a trio of meats meal the pork was very small in the serving. Server said not a problem without hesitation then Brough a side plate of the most delicious pork possible. Very very impressed with the standard of the quality of all the food. A must go to place highly recommended by all 7 of us in the gathering. Keep it up. 👍

We’ve had food here loads of times since it has re-opened. Every meal has been excellent. I don’t think there is anywhere better in Newport to eat. All the staff are so nice and attentive, the decor and surroundings are lovely and I would recommend 100%!

Sorry Fifteen first visit today for Sunday Lunch .Beef was tough not enough veg for 4 people only two small pieces of carrot on my plate . I asked if you had real ale on tap the the lad behind the bar didn't have a clue !!

Visited today for lunch service. Menu extremely small. They no longer offer the lunchtime menu which they are still showing online. This leaves a choice of Tapas to start, then burger,( Beef or chicken), salad or steaks as a main. We almost left to try somewhere else where more choices were available but decided to stick with it. To be fair the food was tasty ,yet once more the dessert choices were very limited, four choices, one of which was not available. it took 15 mins to tell us that the ice cream we ordered was not available and then a further 15 to bring the alternative choice. All quite disappointing really. I wouldn’t rush back.

SO MUCH FOOD! I really enjoyed the meal, and the staff were great! Small-ish menu at the moment, but I'm sure that'll grow! Unfortunately we were there when they didn't have many of the dishes in stock, steak or belly pork 😭😭 I'll be back and recommend because the food was incredible

After breaking my foot I was disappointed not to be joining the girls for a meal here. They called me to show me how fantastic the food was. I asked my friends to bring me a take out they said No they Don’t Do Them 😡 I didn’t hesitate to call the restaurant to ask for a takeaway 😂 Lola the waitress was absolutely lovely and took my order from my friends and it was delivered. I must say it was delicious and Lola you are a diamond. See you next Thursday Lola pavlova ❤️❤️

Had a meal here on Thursday night, food was delicious, all freshly cooked, great atmosphere, lovely decor & super comfortable. Great service & all the staff were genuinely jolly & helpful. Definitely will be visiting again - this is my new local & am delighted with it!
